  1. I was happy to see the MAINTENANCE, but no UPDATE !!! 3 times server crash in short time, that is not good ! and for hours it is down ?

The simple form is; Needed Hull Repairs (H) = Your Ship HP / 500 Needed Rig Repairs (R) = Your Sail HP / 400 Needed Rum for Crew (C) = Your Crew Number / 4 So Base Repairs 20% for hull and 25% for sail and %25 for crew Basic Hull, Strong Sails, Hammocks etc. does not matter, you just divide your ships listed hp and crew numbers to the give numbers above. Do we agree on this ?
  3. DLC ship will should always be 3/5, that 5/5 is crap, as you can reedem until you hit 4/5 or 5/5 it is P2W
  4. Problem is there is no such a thing as decent AI, so 1 rate higher might compensate, may be up to 5th rate, afterwards same rate same type
  5. I strongly disagree, AI ship is crap ! Experienced players will laugh at the spawned ship ! Speed moded agressive and strong AI ships should be spawning, best of it is tier or 1 tier higher with high speed. Btw Hercules is OP and dangerous for big ships, no big ship can shake a good Hercules from it's tail, and those 32pdr carros will kill 100-200 crew with 1 pass on enemy stern. It is small target when angeled so forgives some mistakes.

I will edit my post later Edit: I liked your post and how you inspected and compared this game with successful models. Player Progression is really an important driving force. Actually in World of Tanks, Win8 models were more prefered by players instead of WG performance tables. So yes we need something to show the player progression in detail, we need some numbers to show off that is what people like. About wikia, I do agree this game needs updated one, I prefer it to be integrated into the game. This is one of the main missing parts of this detailed game. On the other hand I am sure DEVS are very busy with new UI/Economy patch, and new incoming mission update which is great content. So I will not expect them to handle this kind of missing parts soon. I still think, if gamelabs devs. somehow manages to sort out current problems, it may still be huge, unmatched success and only one of it's kind.
  7. This is my way of thinking. And yes I think it is realistic at some point. Let's check the real maximum speeds of each class, there will be difference, hull shape, size etc. would matter a lot. We need speed caps for each rate, provided sail refits gets hard nerf, speed mods nerfed. So in order to achieve hard caps on your specific rate of ship, you have to invest all in speed, sacrifising fighting capability. Also I find only 2 full loads of chain to be encouraging speed meta, feel like it must be 3 or 4 sets, cause any speed moded ship can carry 3-4 sets of repair easily. Speed Caps for Each Rate, achievable with many speed mods: Lineships 1st and 2nd rate 12.5 knts 3rd rate 13.5 knts 4th rate 14 knts 5th rate 14.5 knts 6th and 7th 15 knts All ships will find a role, in PB or OW PVP. You can not gank in speed capped 3rd rate anymore, you should be ready to fight, refitted for battle, not all the way running. Where is Renomee, cerberus and some other forgatten ships ? They need to be taken into PVP gameplay. And I really find mods like copper plating and similiar to be really unbalanced, they should not be that rare, should not cost more than a ship
  8. Really ? may be 30 percent of population which is a generous guess, are warm to PVP People wanted somewhat fair pvp (they always forget or do not know yet, the player matters a lot), but this ship DLC is bullshit.
  9. Hercules is for me a very powerful ship. It is a snow on mega steroids. * 4 chasers ! * 15 x 32 pounder carronades each side * Unmatched speed and good turn rate * A bit high profile but also short what are his downsides ? I really do not know. I can do circles around bigger ships including some 5th rates, look like it is impossible to shake me from their ass. First pass with carros, no armour is left on enemy stern, second pass with carro-grapes 100-200 crew is dead, enemy crew shocks, game is over. Same thing happened to me, I was in a fast indefatigable, and an experienced player ripped me apart in his Hercules, he just locked me until he ripped all my crew, and after my armour. Cause I could not even reload due to missing crew. I had trouble landing good shots on him, which I did not have many chances. I feel 32 pounders carronades are too strong for this ship, if he is this agile and fast, he should have slightly less armour and hp. This is a free ship which you can select your best wood, and you can sail with no fear of losing this ship. You do not need to put expensive mods on it, as it is already fast and you can select best woods. * Remove his 32 pounder carronades. * Nerf agility and speed a bit. * If agility and speed stays same, nerf it is hp and armour. * At it is current stage this ship is really OP. I would laugh at renomees, suprises, cerberuses, and make fun with bigger 5th rates, troll the much bigger ships. *** If you can redeem this ship everyday, it should be on par with mediorce 5th rates, it can not be a BEAST like what it is now. Because you can select your wood type freely, if you had to built this ship like others, best built would sell for at least 750k or easly more gold. So having an DLC / IMPORTED / PREMIUM ship is having an usable ship with zero cost ! , not having 1 overpowered little bastard because you paid for it.
  10. So the pirate rig or spanish rig, they are OP and xebec is also OP. Be it xebec with pirate refit or your renomee with spanish refit which does 15.5 knots, it is the OP sail mods.
  11. Thx Liq, we are more of a training clan which we train new guys about this game We try to help them, show ways to survive, to stay alive and to prosper in this eco system. We give funds, we give ships, we give everything we can. At some point they will be leaving, looking for PVP etc. in more pvp oriented clans or other nations. And after some time, they may be returning to us, because they miss the friendship, they miss the stupid fleet missions which becomes more of a talk show, stand up comedy for all of us, while laughing hard with tears, we try sink the stupid ai We have great guys who contributed to this game, existed from the very begining, like some tools for community, like epic traders who hit billion gold (after that game bugged and they started to go negative, fixed by devs). They can find everyway to earn that big profit, they invent the meta, and it gets spread out to most people, they find the next one afterwards :), so we have it all, just missing numbers. And yes we do the pvp, I still remember fighting against you with my other mates while you were dancing in your belle poule in circles around 4 of us in snows, cerberuses. I guess it was the most entertaining times for me in this game, which was the pure pvp. For me BCC is a great clan, we have players from 17 years old up to 74 years old. The backbone of the clan are the mature guys with ages above 35 . BCC is formed by gamers who has witnessed the gaming history from the begining, experienced in structure, organisation, great experience in many other competetive games etc. Only problem is to be a competetive and game changing clan, that BCC is missing, is the TIME. As we are grown ups with family, work and life out of gaming, it is currently impossible for us to make BRITIAN great again So I guess BCC will continue to be the PURE FUN, NO PRESSURE clan, preserving the mature backbone of players who will be helping the inexperienced NAVAL ACTION travellers to find their way in this game universe.

  14. Let's kill only working economy of the game. Why not continue the NA Legends, with premium ships, ammo, premium equipments and books etc. Let's just copy WOT.
  15. Bullshit if DLC ships will have advantage over crafted ones, I will quit this game with many more players. I never ever touch P2W titles.
  16. I do not wanna say this, but I will, It is the most unbelievalbe thing, the developers just released this Hercules/Requin ships as DLC and sold them before proper balance. They should give us all the DLC for free for a duration of 1-2 months. After the balance, all will be ereased, but giving us 1 hercules and 1 requin note. 6th rate game is totally fucked up now, open world hunting is totally fucked up, why would you do THAT ? Give us flags, paints, other stuff, so you can still milk us, but why would you do this ??? Unethical way of business, I do not think devs are ignorant, I feel like they did this on purpose. Let's put some OP ships into game, lets milk them more, after we have enough milk , we can nerf the ships later. I bought 2 DLC just to support the game, which I really did not need to. But this DLC ships just put a distance between me and my only game. Note: I would prefer "ship notes as a batch" instead of unlimited ship source. Example Le Requin DLC includes 10-15 ship notes.

  18. And I was just laughing hard when I activated the "reinforcement" button, a powerful Mercury spawns, and it is a funny and happy moment for the Le Requin and his prey !
  19. A ship which can have 340 crew, it is a 6th rate, it is shallow waters, it can hit the speed cap where others just struggle to sail forward. This ship is a joke at best, I remember that splash screen while loading which says "creating new bugs", thank you developers for this newly created bug.
  20. I still think all players should start in the neutral Nation / Company, and afterwards choose their nation knowing the consquences. Change nation after M&C may be ?
  21. I would love to have the option of only dismantle, but giving 1 of the installed mods back to player.
  22. Can we end this discussion ? Poods are the gold ammo, not fitting this game, only dropping from ai fleets or producing them with high cost is acceptable.
