  1. I do not like hiding all the players names. There should be an option, like smuggler flag to turn it on or off. A famous captian may want his name to be seen, or a pirate wants his name to be private, just to better seal club. It should be our choice. Like I am looking for somebody, I want revenge, how can I find him anymore ?
  2. That picture is just an example, can be bigger, different. But isn't it obvious that map is too big for current player base? I do understand that traders like the big map, safe travel, teleport to safe waters. But it is killing the game.
  3. I think with the current online players numbers, map should be quarter size of the current map. I also think reducing nations will help to increase the RVR at least. For how many players, the current map is designed for, 5000 ? We have average 500 players nowadays, so the map is too big. I suggest cropping the map, and unluck all the map with FULL RELEASE of the game, or they can unlock if average number of players increase, which seems unlikely. Below map is a cropped example.
  4. I like to have 2 currency. Combat marks and gold. 1 PvP Mark = 50 Pve Mark (cm) this is just a number, could be different. A carebear can buy a book for 2000 cm, and PVP guy can buy it too, easy. By the way, I had around 80 pvp marks, so I sometimes do pvp. You kill a ship (6th rate, 10 minutes battle?) you get lets say 5 pvp marks = 250 cm, and you can hunt NPC ship of 3 x bellona +1 3rd rate +.... and you will get maximum 50 combat marks = 1 PVP mark (40 minutes at least) Do not widen the gap between PVP and PVE players, most of the rare items are for elite PVP players. Who can pay 100pvp mark for an item? = 100x50= 5000 combat marks !!!

  7. Keep the reinforcement zones, but more far away from ports, the more time it takes reinforcements to arrive. So if you do not play smart, you will lose your ship to attackers, if they dont play smart they will lose theirs Joining open world battles, timer should be more, lets say 5 minutes. But the longer it passed from start of battle, the further your allies will spawn. So again you have to be smart, make it to your friends, or if you are attacking someone, their friends arrive, evaluate the situation, run away or stay. Now the hunter can be hunted if he is tagged. Just thinking.
  8. I can not see the pictures posted. They appear non-clickable, I use chrome and also tried that on ie. Can you put a sheet so we can see your valuable findings.
  9. Too many secrets around, can you please explain the new mechanics of this RNG ship types. Purple is legendary and what happens if purple, what is the rarest type, and many other questions.
  10. @vazco I respect your approach and attitude, you have made some good points. I hope they listen. PvP guys who destroy fleets of enemy players and accept the role of mods and other differentiating stuff which they use. Anyway may be without skill books and modules you should be getting similiar results due to your skill level and experience, but it is showing your humility to adress the situation like the way you did.
  11. So what needs to be done is, divide current pvp marks into let’s say 4. New pvp mark is 1/4th of the old one. BR of the ship will give some set pvp mark. *** BR difference will give some pvp marks. Pvp Rank difference should give additional pvp mark. So when you sink an LGV (5) of Rookie(3) it will give let’s say 5+3= 8 new Pvp Marks. But when you sink Endymion (8) of an 1st rate pvp guy (12) = 20 new pvp marks. So you are a rookie and you are sunk, you managed to make set amount of damage to enemy, every 20 percent 1 pvp mark. You did 40 percent damage, you get 2 pvp marks ? So this can be improved into a very enjoyable, addicting PVP system. People noob or expert will be more into pvp. Some special inventory chest from the nation you belong, becomes avaliable to you as you progress in Pvp Ranks.

  13. Just check my post, I said "I do not think", I did not say I am sure or I know it. Do I need to explain what "I don't think" means ? Suprised to see you kind of offended on the demasting subject. I still do think the "accuracy of longs+charged+some skills", which leads to "single shot sniping" is not even close to being realistic. I do accept some well placed broadside can cut the masts, but come on, sniping with single shots By the way I love your game, I will keep playing, I do not hate anything about this lovely game, except the UI, Map, Huge changes without notice, Slow development of the game, and some other small things. We all here want to see this game getting better and better each day.
  14. I do not think it as realistic. Imagine 6 vs 6 ship combat, everyone shooting at the masts . I do not think this would be the real deal back in time.
  15. I think we should have notice boards at the ports. Guild recruitment, ship builder advertisements, trade ads, various notes from people, crews, port owner etc. Let it cost money to limit abuse and spam. Give us options to advertise on other ports, with a price for each port, may be increasing price with distance. Notes should have some days before it is removed. Checking a note, you will have option to send email to the guy or start direct chat with him. Just an idea.
  16. That I agree, groups must have freedom to chose what they are. Happy Traders Guild, Wolf Squadron, Captain Jack’s Crew, Red Fleet etc... But I personaly do not prefer Clan for this game.
  17. This is what I dream. Imagine sailors climbing masts, observer, scout on top, may be informing us ships getting close. Marines with muskets shooting other ship when getting in range. and while playing text boarding game, crew fighting, grappling, shooting in backround. some sailors getting thrown away from ships due to explosions. AND THE CAPTAIN, imagine customising an avatar, than you see him, walking on your ship, giving orders. Finaly diffirent ship sinking animations, floating cargo, barrels and some sailors. I want the Devs to stop, designing new ships which gets their 2 months, but instead put small but beatiful inprovements like you mentioned.

  19. I really do not understand why ships sink so quickly in this game. Also they always sink the same What about letting them lean different sides, let us at least loot the barrels, cargo floating around.
  20. I have seen experienced and repair moded players, repairing from a sunken ship into a brand new ship, turning back to his chaser with half hp and eating them alive. I find it really bad and arcade. Limit repairs to 2 total be it 2 hull, 2 rig or 1 each. And limit stupid rum for 1 time which your necromancer surgeon resurrects only a percentage of dead crew. What about increasing speed penalty for carrying repair kits more than a set amount ???
