Recently made this beauty, I based her off early WW1 German Battlecruisers. As its my first large build its not as accurate as I wanted it to be but I'm happy I got this turret configuration to work as its a tad bit strange.

When campaign and Carriers get added, I have mocked up a refit of an old Pre-Dreadnought into a Floating Fort meant to protect ports and important bits of coastline. Has traded what speed it had and its larger calibre secondary battery for a lot more armour and a DP Secondary Battery

in a in the face, close range brawl?

why yes. yes it can. and the visuals are glorious.

i've never seen so many ammo detonations and turrets in the air at one time, once i dove into the enemy formation most of them ended up firing on each other.

Yes, but I don't want to. That's the point, I want to be able to build the goofy Borodinos because I like how the goofy Borodinos look. I don't care what "the best" ship was, that's irrelevant.

No need to tell me, I know that photo is tiny. But I crippled that photo when I wanted to make it small enough to post while I didn't save the original. So I feel sorry for that photo. That's why I post it altrough it is terribly small.

If you can't see that, there's an explosion of ammunition on american light ctuiser caused by 76 mm hit.

This is my latest creation, the 1911 Austrian battleship Radetzky, designed for short range protection of her states interests in the adriatic sea, as well performing power projection missions in the Ioniana, Aegean and eastern Mediterranean seas (essentially to compete with the Italians, and to keep them out of their backyard):

An interesting thing to note here was the idea of what a re-modernisation of this ship would look like, where I would replace the "Q" turret with machinery to bring her up to speed, plate over the casemates, and place secondary turrets on the clear sides of the hull, as well as boring out the guns to a larger caliber, making her competitive with Giulio Cesare type ships after rebuild
