I'd like to see a few options Salvo: as it is now, all turrets wait until every gun is loaded Ripple: the turret would stagger the firing of it's guns to average out the overall reload, eg. a twin would fire the #2 gun 50% into gun #1's reload, a triple 33%, quad 25%, etc. Ranging: each turret will wait until the preceding turret's shots have landed, slowing RoF in exchange for quicker build up of hit percentage.

It would be cool to have a 'local fire control' option, in the 'normal, save, off' tab maybe, that makes it so that each turret fires on the target it thinks it has the best chance to hit but losses all the bonuses from the rangefinder, radar, etc. so you could unleash your secondaries to blindly go ham on the PT boat swarm but keep your primary guns under director control for that running duel with an enemy battleline.
  5. it's fairly realistic, IIRC in long range gun duels BB's were said to have a 2% hit-rate.
  6. That would make sense though wouldn't it? 305mm guns were what Dreadnought had...
  7. question, can one purpose built BB take on 99 early Bs? in a in the face, close range brawl? why yes. yes it can. and the visuals are glorious. i've never seen so many ammo detonations and turrets in the air at one time, once i dove into the enemy formation most of them ended up firing on each other.
