(länger andauernder Beschuss, nicht nur bei drei Schuss, wenn die Crew noch fit ist)" Also das kann man nicht so einfach über den Kamm scheren. Das war pro Nation und je nach Ausbildung stark unterschiedlich, ebenso in Bezug auf die Bestückung der Schiffe in Bezug auf die unterschiedlichen Arten der Kanonen und der jeweiligen Ladung (double Charge, Grapes etc.). 18 Pfünder schafften 2 bis 3 Schuss in 5 Minuten unter optimalen Bedingungen (Ausbildung der Crew, Wetter, Wellengan, Wind etc.) und das waren die Briten absolut top im Gegensatz zu den Spaniern oder anderen Nationen. Dann bitte führt Offiziere und Crewtraining ein (oder auch nicht) um das zu kompensieren. Und Schlachtschiffe bis zum 18 Jahrhundert haben sich keine Duelle auf lange Distanz geliefert, eher versuchte man bei schwächeren Kanonen und Schiffen das man einen Kampf vermeidet oder überraschend ein Boarding durchführt (siehe Piraten). Wenn man schon auf eine gewisse Realitätsnähe wert legt, dann bitte nehmt den Piraten die großen Schiffe weg. Ok, ist ein anderes Thema. Genauso ist es mit den Battles. Da geht's gleich zur Sache, was ja auch nicht unbedingt der Fall war. Es gab da mehr oder minder Regeln wie ein Kampf zu führen war und nicht so ein wildes Gewusel wie es jetzt ist. Das Clan Warehouse ist schon mal sehr gut - fehlt nur noch die Möglichkeit das man innerhalb des Clans an die Crafter diverse Bestellungen aufgeben kann. Dann wäre das perfekt. Zielen, Treffen und Durchschlag ist jetzt irgendwie anders - kann aber sein das ich heute einen schlechten Tag hatte. -

when storm maps then also more and longer smoke from the cannons. if you want realistic weather then i want realistic guns. -
"In the very light wind any brig could sail faster than trincomalee at any angle " That is a joke, isn't it? the Trinco is as slow as hell. ist too high in the water and rolls to much and is only good for hunting. I regret that i have build and used that class of ship. Anyway, the way the DEVS thinks about changes to the game are a little bit to agressive and helps nobody to increase the fun to Play.

Good Morning everyone here on land or sea What do you think about more and longer smoke of the cannons? It would give a battle more deep and more or less action in navigating and fireing the guns. I personaly think that a change of this kind is a way more better and realistic then "sunk by a ram and or a bunch of leaks" with longer smoke on the water, when sailing the big vessels, you must stay in your battle line and sometimes fire blind like in the good old days of sailing. I post it here because we had yesterday a discussion in our clan about such a change, while some of us where in a battle with their belonas. Feel free to discuss and will the wind allways be with you William

the BR limit is nonsens like other things in that patch (leaks,raming), when for example 50 ships want attack a single ship then it should be so. happend to me often enough that 4 or 5 ships tried to capture me and did I complain about that in the forum? as i wrote in another threads, I'm out for a while because that is not playable in any way, because the current patch is a shame and needs correction asap. And Forum Admin - yes I'm one of this silent readers not much posting only when necessary - and I didnt ask for that kind of support like the BR 1.5 and other stuff. I was happy with the system even when it ended bad for me.

Alles raus aus dem Schiff - also Kanonen und oder evt. Fracht auch die (permanent) Upgrades (rechte Mautaste - destroy) - reparieren und dann verkaufen. Ich verkaufe die Dinger eher selten - eher breche ich sie auf - dann erspar ich mir das craften von teilen. -

i agree with you in this case and your view. the game is pretty nice and still have a lot of potential. but most People i know left the game because they have a Problem to find those Mission because it is not realy easy to find those tiny white swords on the sea. and it would be nice to see large AI Groups of battle ships of any kind of ship types. and maybe some more specific missions like explore or Special trade and so on. when Mission will be easier to find, i have no Problem to sail for 10 minutes, then it would be also easier for the newbies to Level up in the game. my biggest Problem in game is to find a Mission, i mean every time i do so my nose is bonded to my Monitor and that hurts my old eyes. but all in all the game is nice and i love the Sound of the cannons and realy well designed ships.- 140 replies

das mit der Dura bei der Fleet würde dann bei mir so einiges erklären, weil ich schick die immer weg, wenn ich sie nicht mehr brauche. jetzt hängen die halt bei meinen Tradern dran mit Dura 1. ich hab zur zeit das glück das ich nach jedem port battle für die US bei der Hauptstadt der Dänen oder sonstwo im süden rauskomme - ohne teleporter ist man da etwas in den arsch gekniffen, weil bis Charleston ist es ein breiter weg. -

High Pings could be easily fixed with a product like Netscaler, thus it doesnt depend where the real server location is. so everyone could play from everywhere with a good ping and you need only one server for that.- 140 replies

Is the game designed for Surround Sound ?

I have played it over my suround HIFI - was awesome for me but not for my neighbors - now i use a headset - but yes it works fine
