    Will anyone contest Ram Dinark ( @Imperator1 ) 1v1 who considers themselves a pro? @rediii @Liq @Gregory Rainsborough @King of Crowns @Liberalism @Captain2Strong @Koveras @Christendom @Intrepido @Vernon Merrill @Wyy @LegoLarry @Staunberg @Tac @AeRoTR @--Privateer-- @Dan Morgan @Beeekonda @Borch @Severus Snape @Moscalb

It's quite shocking to always see his ship have very little damage after completely obliterating enemies day in and day out. I figured I'd tag people who talk often on the forum or have big names in game. Or does everyone just concede that Ram is the best player in the game? :)

Lol take me off there, i'm by no means a pro.

Tbh i don't care who the best is ingame, my ego doesn't expand that far :) .

Much better to ask people that give a damn, i'm all outta caring after basically being called a liar for reporting an exploit.

This evening yet again an unknown Pirate captain at approximately 16:50 Just south of Fort Oranje Dock used witchery and sorcery to insta-dissapear within Dutch waters while people gave close chase and closing distance.

This could not have been sight range (Perhaps 2* tagging range with clear skies), and also not a mission (dutch waters and a pirate).

Some witchery is afoot and becoming more common of late, I have forwarded reports to the admiralty and await the spanish inquisition!

An unfortunate victim of the said pirate has just declared the captain to be LagunaSeca clan WTF.

I'm sure that the powers that be can check their records at this time.

As no video evidence was captured I forward accountings of a late witch trial

Looking at those pics, HTF are people in Hercs sailing with multiple Hercs in fleet? @Ink @admin I thought DLC ships were redeemable only if you currently do not have that ship? Are people really able to claim those ships every 24 hours?

It was raised long ago that by placing a redeeemed ship in fleet that another was able to be spawned,  so with maximum fleet perks it is possible to have 4 ships redeeemed  (3 in fleet and the extra spawned while this is done).

As this was raised and no response was forthcoming from the devs about this i guess it was assumed that  things worked as intended.

Personally i thought this was a little strange but as many are doing this then just accepted things were as intended.

The number of outposts were not a problem during testing,  therefore i conclude the problems (if they so exist) must arrive from some other cause/change.

It all comes down to choice of outposts, but ofc choosing to keep production and crafting buildings means less available to elsewhere.  If anything with production (forests/mines etc) able to be built within ports if a clan/nation use this facility then it is definitely most possible to free up needed outposts for other endevours....

By stacking materials production needed in 1 or 2 ports would allow outposts to be free for whatever is needed would it not?

Russia is dominant because the playerbase will always run the strongest faction and for the port bonus' only those that has access to 55p ports has fought against eachother - we haven't seen a single PB between a 45p nation and a 55p nation, I wonder why. As to the BR being too large - part of the issue no doubt but any1 saying that the port bonus' isn't screwing with balance isn't able to do simple math.

Decline of RvR isn't only down to Russian population, or port bonuses.

The way Frontlines RvR is structured has made it all about area Capital ports and little else.

In my humble opinion it would have been better if say half of a regions ports needed to be taken first to attack the region capital, bringing in lower BR port battles for the linked towns that smaller clans could maybe contest.

At the moment is a capital to capital game for large BR fleets,  the system has effectively taken all smaller linked ports out of RvR in my opinion.

How far away are you when these ships disappear? Do the enemies seem to „freeze“ for a moment before disappearing?

Someone in nation had a player disappear on edge of tag circle the other night, we said to F11 it.

During testing when i myself have seen this happen they just simply vanish,  no pause like entering a mission.

they join a mission, they dont cut their connection

Sorry but I suspect this isn't what is happening,  enemy ships have insta-logged out inside dutch captital waters quite often of late and would not be possible to get missions in those area's.

Someone needs to test this, but from what I have been informed insta log out occurs when you pull your hard connection to router.

Again this is what i have been told, and not tested as yet.

I have seen this happen myself pre-release and after release, but never knew how was done.

The only way they could have missions in these area's would be by taking missions in a nation then using forged papers to leave and activate missions after leaving nation which i can't believe so many would do this tbh.

The only other possibility i can think of is perhaps if you dc from steam itself (log out of steam while ingame), but again would have to be tested.

My personal opinion is that ROE was better when it was simply a 3 min timer to enter.  Simple, impossible to exploit (afaik), clear and cut with no room for dubious use of mechanics.

I understand why devs went this way but the intended affect i think has been undermined by people "gaming the game",  happens in many other games also when new things introduced.

i cant see anything wrong with it, he might just be low ranked trader with all buildings for crafting repairs, why do you want to take out the contract btw? just curious.

Your answer makes no sense :), if he is a trader with buildings to make repairs then why is he buying 5 mill reals of repairs :D .

Basically capitals are being bought out of rum mainly 24/7 and hull/rig less so, which means ofc new guys can't even get supplies to PvE or PvP.

Surely you can see how this can be bad for game.

    1. Why do you think in false correlations? Outlaw Battles would not necessarily affect PvP Missions. Developers could make such kills not count towards PvP missions.

    2. Why do you think only pirates should get this mechanic? Another biased correlation.

I think outlaw battles and ability to join both sides of a battle should be available to nobody and should be removed for all.

So easy to abuse as in this tribuneral.

In short it's a shit mechanic and badly thought through. This is seen when as you suggest to change all other mechanics for this one?

As for biased opinion, I guess thinking mechanic is poor and create more problems than it gives benefits is biased.

Sorry i think is bad overall.

I don't see a big issue with the random port bonus on DLC to be honest,  they are mostly quite poor in comparison to national shipbuild ports.

As for players without access, I see in Dutch nation a lot of cheap national port bonus ships cheap and many eager to help anyone who shouts up in nation chat.

Of course maybe this is a different story within other nations but that is more down to population of nation if this is the case.

I only have the Hercules and given Pandora so isn't a case of protecting my onions so to speak.

As for people saying it's hard to make money for new guys....... with cargo and passenger missions it's never been as easy as it is now.

Let's talk about the new player experience, there's absolutely no counter mechanic to camping starting zones. It used to be with the R zone you could have a chance at getting help. Now with the R zone gone, there's absolutely no reason not to camp new player zones. Imagine buying the game to get killed constantly by endy's and trincs.

There either needs to be a reward gap so that players under a certain rank provide ZERO pvp perks or bring back the R zone so we can pile in on seal clubbers.

I'd like to see how many refund requests there are.

I agree with you personally but to be fair to the community i have seen less capital kills in combat news of late.

Yes people around capitals still sinking, but haven't seen the usual kpr/Charleston spam.

hence the "probably will have to increase the amount of friendly clan slots" - So that EVERY actual clan of a nation can get on there. Just no legit alt clans.

Yes ALT's are a problem, always have been.

If clan friends lists were expanded to accomodate then yes i think would be a good move.

Nations would have to aid solo guys though by choice but this already happens in most nations.

  14.  Having to take a number (%) of smaller ports in a region before the capital makes some sense,  creating a staging area for main assault.

This would also bring into play more smaller ports in regions, and perhaps more RvR as nations fight for region overall rather than only the capitals.

I know some will say well we are in ships and can attack anywhere, but taking the town as a whole would need ground support and perhaps taking smaller region ports could represent this in an abstract way.
