Snagged this from the Russian forum

So does that mean voting is already over?

So I'm not the only one noticing it...

16 nearly unanswered votes is coming it a little high.....ok, more than a little high.  My recommendation for the future is a public poll - if they could make it in a forum that required 10 posts to post in, all the better.

Two things.

1.  People can delete their vote and recast, as I did transfering mine from Temeraire to Christian VII

2.  It is the Indy, Hornblower isn't exactly unpopular among fans of the age of sail.  We've had a lot of new members join of late.

The two could account for the spike.

Changed my vote from the Bonhomme Richard, as she is unfortunately is not going to win, to the Rattlesnake.

I'm still upset that there are still more votes for the Independence than the Bonhomme Richard...  I mean, this is the ship of John Paul Jones fame!

I'm suspicious of this HMS Indefatigable rise as well as I am not seeing many posts like: "Voted for the Indefatigable.  Hornblower fan for life!" when this rise has started.

And I don't think a lot of people have changed their votes, as the numbers for the lesser ships have been remaining constant while this sudden rise has occurred...

I don't mind one ship winning over another, but I would like it to be real people voting, and not meat puppet accounts.  I would humbly request that the originator of the poll take a look at the voters (I believe they can see who voted for what) and validate that we don't have a ballot box stuffing situation.

I think it is being manipulated, which is sad.

Главное сегодняшнее событие - Кристиан наш Седьмой догнал

идущего на третьем месте Indefatigable

Amsterdam (1748, Dutch 42-gun indiaman) - 95

2 Rattlesnake (1780, American 20-gun corvette) - 82

3-4 HMS Indefatigable (1784, British 64-gun ship) - 58

3-4 Christian VII (1767, Danish 90-gun ship) - 58

Téméraire-class (1784, French 74-gun ship) - 36

HMS Agamemnon (1781, British 64-gun ship) - 35

7-8 USS Independence (1814, American 54-gun ship) - 31

7-8 Wasa (1778, Swedish 60-gun ship) - 31

Océan-class (1788, French 118-gun ship) - 25

10 USS Bonhomme Richard (1765, American 42-gun frigate) - 13

11 Hermione (1779, French 32-gun frigate) - 12

12 Amazon-class (1773, British 32-gun frigate) - 7

Впринципе, победители известны уже сейчас

All the other ships have gone up at about the same rate, while the Indy saw a huge increase.  Again, I think all 3 ships need to be made and I want the Amsterdam, Rattlesnake and Indy, but that is really suspicious.

Indefatigable is the most well known ship by far due to the Hornblower series, with all the new players coming in that's where your votes are coming from.

And your evidence is where?  Are you telling me all the people who have been joining from the youtubers' showcase of Naval Action even know about Hornblower or even the ship?  I mean, the voting for the Indy has almost doubled in a week.
