    Having the translation of military voice effects linked to the Nation you chose to play, not to the langage of your UI. for example, a German playing GB would have a German UI but British voices on his British ships. Seeing Italian translation, I wonder... However, crews were multinational.

J'ai trouvé sur un site cette référence sur les rapports qu'on fait les Anglais sur elle après capture : Et je me demandais si cette citation ne venait pas : soit de ce n° du CERMA soit de la version française de l'ouvrage de Boudriot sur l'histoire des frégates françaises : Mais il n'y a rien de pressé.     Quelqu'un connait-il le tome 29 des cahiers du Centre d’Études Rochefortaises Maritime Atlantique (CERMA), consacré aux frégates du XVIIe au XIXe siècle ? Interessant ?

    Agree. The idea of a regional HQ goes against an authority strongly concentrated in Paris and a centralized administration that have been the way of proceeding in France for long and strengthened during the Revolution and the Empire (with the death of privileges).

    Début d'année avec un poème (mais si, mais si !) d'Alfred de Vigny écrit en 1828 sur la frégate de 12 La Sérieuse (1779) qui termina funestement une assez belle carrière à la Bataille d'Aboukir : ici.

    Come on, look at the French flags of the DLC : an Infantry flag and an ensign used only by Mediterranean galleys, while the warship naval ensign used during 90 years of the 18th century is missing. Vaguely historical seems enough.

    You will be recognized as the greatest PvE player on the War server when you stream on youtube at least 150 battles against bots (losing half of them) adding enthusiastic comments such 'My greatest fight ever !' 'Wow, what a fight !" 'PvP sucks !' etc. Then and only then, you'll be the king of the PvE And we'll laugh. 🙂

    You surely can as lots of posters around also do. But most of the buyers who don't play NA anymore just tried the game a couple of times, did not like it for a reason, may try it from time to time. However, they wait for the release to test the final product. One must be a real NA aficionado to 'take a long look over all patch and use that as an idea on what will happen in my opinion'. 🙂 btw, not sure it is the best way to test a feature...

    Come on. It's EA. You can't assess each feature devs implement for the final product with each variation of pop testing the game. A RvR patch will certainly make vet testers involved in clans and RvR come back at least to test it.

    Hard to change mentalities. Gold/Doublons/loots are no longer meant to reward the risk of the most high-skilled activity of NA (PvP), but to encourage every player to be in the OW, make it easier to access ships to fight more easily and more often and make players attack every possible prey in OW as it may be wealthy. It was a way to reward the elite. It is now an incitement to fight/be in OW given to all, whatever in PvP/PvE however in OW. Doublons to have more ppl with not much time available fighting, doublons for more OW PvP.

    French Privateer Surcouf is known for the number of his captures and the net profit from these captures (and often the imbalance of power between him and his opponents). Leaderboards could highlight both naval careers : naval officiers : K/D, crew kils, PB... privateer : number of captures, amount of loot, average BR imbalance (opponent BR / own BR)...
