  1. @Palatinose Maybe I did not say it clear enough, sorry. I do not accuse anyone of having attacked in two against one (the game admits 25 vs 1), is part of the game mechanics! What I can not stand are these "pro" players who consider themselves to be "fair fighters", when they are players like all the others: they fight if they think they have chances to win and they try to flee if they think they have no chance. And here is the problem with requins! The requin is a 6th rate with crew able to board even many 5th rates, with excellent sailing profile (even after the fix), exaggerated cannons, a profile of the hull almost impossible to hit at 200 meters, and with the escape option even without a mast and with 50% sails! It is here that I ask you, does it seem fair considering that it is a paid ship? Fair wind my "dearest enemy" 🙂

I was going back to port when I saw the battle, I headed back and I joined to try to save the victim (so I'm not the one who attacked a requin in a SoL, but i tried to save a player from two requins).Then please clarify how 2 vs 1 herc is a fair fight since you always say the you always hunt alone!. 2. As usual you and yordi have used the same usual technique, identified the hercules you have reduced the sails a bit, broken the bowsprit (quite simple with the hercules), push against the wind and board. Two, perhaps three clicks and it s done! Once again "bravo" great demonstration of great skills! You are a champion in the stone-scissors-paper game, in running up-wind, in taunting others players in the chat and in the forum and finally in strongly supporting a flood of bullshits! 3. You can not compare any ship to the requin (only the hercules) because it is a ship that you buy with real money (bellonas, ingers, pirate frigates and co are not!). 4. The requin is the only ship that is impossible to chase even with another requins! (this does not apply to Bellonas, ingers and co). And do not come to tell me that they can be chased by prince or linx or privateer, all extremely inferior to the requin by firepower, hull and sailing profile. 5. You consider yourself a great requin expert, try to improve your skills even on others ships that are not broken, op, and PtW, then come back in the reinforcement and we can talk again (you are a phenomenon and one of the best server players in the Caribbean, certainly in terms of chat and ability to support the unsostaineble, I am a noob but i hunt in reinforcement in bellonas, trincos and hercules (last one Op but at least you can chase hercs with other hercules and even with trinco and endimion and co.) 6. If yordi has laughed I'm happy, always willing to improve the quality of the game even of my opponents, the same can not be said of you, you are able to ruin the experience of game thanks to your dement comments in battle chat and you are only good to decrease the online players (especially the newbie), once again "bravo"!.
  3. This is what happened now: I m sailing in a wasa, chain a requin up to 52%, I break his bowsprit too. The requin can not repair, but leads to sail against the wind and in 30 seconds goes away undisturbed. Dear @admin do you think this is normal? Do you believe that in reality a ship in these conditions has any chance of escape? Do you believe that a wasa in the same condition can escape a requin by navigating downwind (the answer is not clearly)! The requin was sailed by yordi a good player who has the good taste of being silent when silence is better than any word! The same can not be said of @Licinio Chiavari (in the same battle of course sailing a requin, the only ship he sails all day long). Dear @admin I hope you fix this ship that is completely broken! Otherwise I will have to think that for a few pennies you are destroying your game! I thank you for the answer.

  5. Just to understand better ... privateers linxes princes have all the incredible sailing profile of le requin? Can they be fitted wirh 32pd carronades? Do they have 375 crew on board? Do they sail at 14.5 knt from 45 to 150? Just to know ... this time you decided to defend the indefensible and I'm sad about that. I love this game, it's the only one I want to play atm, but these requins, and in part these hercs too, are boring me! We have so many beautiful ships available, but since a couple of months ago they almost all become useless! Too bad because I would have gladly bought many aesthetic DLCs to help the development of the game, but I will not buy anymore DLCs P2W ships, they are demolishing the game for a few pennies (considering the potential to make cash in many other ways). I hope that someone puts a hand on the conscience and remedies before it's too late!
  6. Dear @admin, the requin is simply an "incorrect" ship! Why? It is the only ship that can attack at will, even in reinforcement zones, and decide when to fight and when to retire at will, without anyone being able to do anything about it! The reinforcement zones are packed with "heroes" in their requins that instantaneously board the new players, with the result that they lose interest in the game and leave it prematurely! When it happens that they meet some more experienced captain then they ask for a "fair" duel, allowing them to be faced with a 5th rate! How kind they are! And here the joke! The battle is simple, the requin tries to bring the 5th rate crew down and try to demolishes the sails to be able to board easily! The 5th rate chain trying to decrease maneuverability and then attempt the demast (rather difficult to tell the truth). Two results: the requin succeeds in his intent and he approaches the 5th rate (nothing to object has been better!). The 5th rate manages to demast the requin, and here the reason why this ship is "unfair" and OP. By te way the requin repairs and flies upwind! Battle over! So it is a ship with exceptional features (it is OP for so many reasons) and the best of these features is that it can not in fact be sunk (P2W)! Does it seem correct? I bought this DLC ship (I hope that doing so i have helped a bit the development of the game), but I find it OP (less than the Requin, at least this ship undergoes the pursuit of another Hercules, 4 bow cannons- 2 stern cannons). I think devs should decrease his side hull, so to balance a little, in fact it is already very fast and turns incredibly. I say this against my interest (since I bought the DLC), but I find that it is absolutely unfair that there are pay to win ships (as it s Hercules today).

To chase a Requin you need at least two Requin armed with long guns and with the ability to navigate alongside.   13. This ship is really a little gem! It is graphically beautiful, has unique navigation mechanics, is simply funny! Pro Navigate well to any wind, suffer a little downwind, but certainly you can not have everything! Maybe it's all too well if you have to correct something. When it will be shallow it will be a good ship (one of the best). Speed control through the yards is exceptional! Great crew, I suggest to invent a special perk only for this ship (like the pirate frigate) to counterbalance the "determined defender" perk. Discrete firepower if equipped with carronate, excellent as anti Prince de Neuchatelle even with 9 pders long. Exceptional speed. Even exaggerated in negative speed.   14. Let me explain ... the free State of "Puttanelle". To be part of it you have to: 1. Do not engage your little brain in too difficult reasonings, do you see an enemy colored in red? Sink it, board it, make it what you want (if you can). 2. Gank and become ganked it does not matter, tackle the battles as they arise and avoid complaining and insulting your opponent if he sinks you (this is the purpose of this game). You want a "fair" fight? Before explain to me which is a "fair" fight and after that go and play another game (Legends?), because 90% of fight in NA are ganking. 3. You must have a Bellona (better one in each port)! But this is only a piece of advice 🙂 4. Play with your friends and captains you can trust and avoid telling tales and liars, and absolutely avoid those captains who call themselves pro (are they maybe paid to play?). You are interested? No? I do not care! The important thing is to have fun and not take this wonderful game too seriously (even if it could be better with further efforts). Fair wind!

If this is true why do we have the paint for the bellona and for the endimion (which work exactly as permanent refit)? @admin please give us back the paints now as permanent refits (I lose the ship I lose the paint), then after the release let them become like ship knowledge and sold them as part of a dlc or do with them what you want to do (your game your choice). They are already in the game, for now let us have them paying pvp marks! A little effort on your part will grant you our big thanks (if you like it)!
  16. I believe that all players must have the chance to own a First rate ship (this is one of the goals in this sandbox game). But I believe that today it is too "easy" to access these ships. I do not like the idea of maintenance costs, they discourage the return of players who have taken a break from the game for various reasons. I agree that the first and second rank must require many more materials and time to be build. In the future I hope there will be less first and second rate ships and when a new player will meet one of these he must have the "Whow! I want to have one" effect (but not so soon and so easily).
  17. I apologize but I never really understand what reinforcements are for! If they are used to protect a warship fighting ai then it s OK for me, they can help a new player to survive the attack of more experienced players. If they are used to protect traders in protected waters they are useless, they are quickly chained and put out of the battle! I understand the "need" to have protected areas for new players and for those who have little time and want to do a little bit of pve. What I do not understand is why these areas must be so big! Okay the capital and a couple of other ports where you can find the basic materials to craft basic ships, but otherwise it must be necessary to sail out of these protected areas. Unlike what sense have all the other ports (too many ports for too few players anyway atm).

  19. Boarding is not the funiest part of the game (paper, stone, scissors game) and until it is improved (there was a devs project but I think it was abandoned) I think it must remain an option to capture a prize and not the solution to win a battle. So DD is fine as it is in my personal opinion.
