  1. what is also an idea is to have a port interface where the clan can put up his own prices (ai port prices) for items to be sold... for example everwhere you can buy rum for 6 reaal if it is generated by AI (what is a ridiculous price) if the port owner could make a minimal price like 60 for rum (buy/sell whatever) in the port, if AI is generating the rum it would be a nice feature.

  5. it's a test captains ...its a test... just like the test: there is no 5th rate, 4th rate, 3rd rate, 2v rate, 1st rate, enemy NPC in dutch waters...(pvp server)

  9. hi guys and developers At the moment i experience in the trade section of this game the limitations of doing trade by contracts i sell guns, but i only can sell the long guns and not even the carronades or mortar gun i am limited by the number of contract slots therefore i also produce raw goods i want to sell in my hometown but by the limitation of the contract slots i can not even sell those. i would suggest at least that when you own a port outpost you have as an owner of an outpost unlimited contract slots for selling and buying in your own outpost or perhaps an unlimited contract DLC what do you all think?
  10. is it also possible to show the completed invested buildings of the outpost so we can make a better choice where we should make an outpost.

If we had more room for more Outposts in the game we did not need to TOW a vessel (Most ports are or strategic, or market-based outposts) for me personally in my nation i am cut off from the entire north because of that.(so even a tow is not even an option anymore) but actually, i agree with the OP. but, but it is a game, and we can not do what is the reality. (just sailing) the game has restrictions on almost everything, and the tow is a small compromise for that. the tow is also the arcade thing in the game and not historical in any sense. (not a real fan of that ) personally, if we had more outposts we could get rid of the tow ...and there would be more balance between making decisions in a more strategic way.

  13. remember there is a threshold for every assist. so it is not that easy. if you shoot at a ship once it will not give you an assist. you have to do more than that. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- " .Significant nerfs to mortar brig perks, accuracy and reload time were applied. Auw!..... i hope it is not too much because it is an extremely difficult ship already...and a nerf make it a "dead" ship. it was tested out under very easy circumstances ...and can give a distorted picture on the situation. in battle it is always a victim and sinks always (so actually no need for a nerf) also the game could use an other artillery ship like the surprise ...as a counterpart on the nerf (the option) Thresholds for new ranks are not final and might be updated once more before release, as additional rank of Admiral of the Fleet might be introduced, but we have not made this decision yet. i would recommend it and also the other rank called vice-admiral of the fleet. (so even more)
  14. i would rather get more LH a day for every building like mines or a farm or Woodforest you got for example 1000-1500 LH a day per building for the paid LH : at this moment they seem to cost 2500 doubloons for 500 LH and it makes no sense to have LH attached to a captain, instead of the labor force on a farm or tree forest or shipyard... i even stop with playing the game because I have to wait for new opportunities ......(this sucks)
  15. what i mostly encounter is, when tagging AI or a player. for battle In the battle start, the player is 16.879. miles in front of me and the AI is on collision course 30 meters away... its weird science sometimes.
  16. the issue: with building upgrades and the attached labor hours from the player, and the labor hours attached to the building. . at this moment we have labor hours attached to the player. . also when having the DLC you can have more buildings and your capacity is increased to get stuff from a building. .we have 10 buildings to build. when you play every day you get approximately 2000 labor hours a day (play cycle) but when you want to collect one building you will see that your building has gathered more goods than you can take out of you also mostly used the function UPGRADE (what means your grind will become bigger and faster) what means you have overcapacity in your building. (and this is just one building) you still have 9 other buildings to go to get the stuff from. what also means 9 buildings stopping to build stuff and waiting to get farmed . its all overcapacity you can not farm because of the shortage of labor hours. but you upgraded your farm's mines and buildings... what was not upgraded to hold pace with the building upgrade, are the labor hours... upgrading buildings farms and mines are a: Fake concept. >. or when upgrading the farms and mines. the labor hours needs an upgrade to. >. or the labor hours need to be attached to the building itself. <> DLC {Admirality} has become actually FAKE as well, in the building section/ , and in that part a rip-off. (overcapacity) your verdicts, please. ps. after getting stuff from my mines,..... i did not even get a chance to make cannons or even building me a lynx

  20. i have been sunk by a fort in my lynx .... very nasty experience i can tell you.. and also by a captain who lured , me to the fort, so a valid tactic ...(he was seeking shelter) i should have sailed away ...( in reality, just to save time. )
  21. the forts are only invented to sink ships at the coast of an island you are lured to the coast by a captain who knows what he is doing you, on the other hand, made a huge tactical mistake to follow them the funny part is why people talk like borg to you is they understand but you seem to be ignorant. just sail away and let them see you are a smart captain. Don't sail near enemy forts or towers. they SINK your ship there is no discussion about....forts use guns, in war, they use these guns ...
  22. yes i think so to (perhaps 2 ships more destroyed would give a good result in this scenario) but the biggest concern what everybody has i think is the huge impact and penetration, when angled, no matter how you angle it still penetrates very deep in the ship and make a lot of damage ( laser accuracy, and no bounce effect [especially in the rear] ) for the enmemy, you are just a flat target it seems
  23. and why not also a button choice to>> blow yourself up. but the captain has to have a fuse perk (10 points perk) the counter is > brace.   24. what i am trying to say is, you can not attack everything. the one who thinks he can attack anything and walk away from it ,...well that's the one with tunnel vision. and why do you think i have illnesses, don't go there my friend. besides that, i am not against the OP or anything i only say in this circumstance " try to adapt" on the situation... ps. I can give you a 7 rate example too,... if you want :))
