Next big patches: Real currency and Open world user interface update

I don't understand the currency thingy. Will this replace the gold used in the shop? Will each nation get their own currency? Or is this only used for crafting? Sounds way to complex with this coin being worth 8 of these and 4 of those etc. Why have so many different denominations?

In regards to the new Players completing the final exam and then having to join a clan.

While I applaud this I do have some reservations,

1. Alts - who can guarantee that a new master and commander is not an alt (from example Russian main account joining Britain), getting Access to TS, and being able to inform his main Nation of planned attacks and port battle settups .

2. Most new Players have no idea of the Nation set up on the game, who is strong or weak, does the Nation have main european time Players or US or Australian. Might be a good idea for them to receive the rewards as redeemables, along with a forged paper (valid for a Maximum of 48 hours), so that if a French Player, for example, gets an invite from Rediii he would be able to Change nations right away. Another way to enable this would be to create a starter port for new Players which is neutral, so that they can choose a Nation on completion of the tutorial

@adminfrom this it seems you want to make 2 types of economy both crafting for income and also rvr/pvp/events for income.. please detail whats preventing this system from turning out like the previous tobacco plantation system?

If by top clans you mean eg 50, it's OK. Short clan description would be very useful as well. 

A list of 10 top clans would be too short and would lead to snowballing and barrier of entry for new clans.

Also for the clans on the list, It may have already been mentioned in one of these posts, but that ability to "Apply" to a clan rather than having to root out the clan officers and pm them directly.

Lots of games have a clan inbox where applications can be accepted / declined.

Maybe some player stats to be introduced for clan leaders to see as well? so their decisions are not based purely on the players rank and what they say. EG Hours spent, Open world Kills, PB's participated in... Im sure you get the idea. The data must be there and a few basic details would be interesting to see at the very least.

@admin I really hope you can implement Mail Delivery system for Daily login Rewards, Missions, Events (open mail/collect items) similar to all others mmos. (very important)

Example login all 30 days and get a Random Ship note.

@adminIntroduce crates, pack gold into crates and use Indiamans. Crates can only fit inside specific ships and not all. Example small traders won't be able to haul that. 

Now to make it interesting send out public messages when player with crates leaves port and actually sail for 2 minutes (crate is on OS for 2 mins with distance from starting port increasing ). Do this:

Send out Server messages to all other nations in private without (gold haul fleet) player seeing it -

Mail -Fleet with gold just left American Port and heading SE

Mail -Fleet with gold just left Spanish Port and heading NW

Mail -Fleet with gold just left French Port and heading W

Why not create a clan board like other 1 million games, showing the clan interest like trade/craft/pvp/pve and what they require and they want plus active hours/ language etc. Also let us see applicants info / hours/pve/pvp/ what they looking for etc.

Not really true, all it shows is that they have learned the tricks to beat the AI either by being told by others what to do or they have watched youtube videos of how others did it. The Devs have already posted a suggested way to complete the exam and others have posted videos and other suggestions on how to do it. Like all AI battles once you learn the tricks they become easy, it does not really prepare you for PvP, as many have said fighting AI actually give people bad habits and leaves them wondering why they are getting wrecked when they PvP.

This whole new currency thing doesn't seem very clear as to what is what and why maybe it's just me being to simple but is it really needed right now? 

Maybe some examples would be nice to see so 1 million gold becomes X..

10 PvP marks becomes   X...

Etc. Etc.

You need to manually sail and cant just stay side by side

you need to angle and be patient

Or you can just mastsnipe

 

All in all I think they have the basics to start pvping whatever you say.

Just from the title I thought that meant here comes the cash shop!!!  Glad it isn't.

It sounds like people want to lose the magic wallet, but they won't give up the upgrade chest?  wtf?

A question about the new money:

Will application of the new currencies and re-denomination have any impact on contracts that are currently posted or will they merely redisplay in the new currencies/denominations?

Every player that completes it shows logical thinking and knowing how to solve the problem. Ofc. you need more skills for pvp but with 10 hours into the game or something and doing this exam the guy doing it is pretty good already.

 

What I would be interested in is the average time for a player to reach master and commander rank with missions etc.

I didn’t say I didn’t want him, just what He so fare have learned,  dosent  show him whst he is going up against in PvP. You know there are thies nasty players that may leak you, an an example of what he hasent seen. My point is only not to tell He is ready for PvP, But he had a good start and now start the learning and fun part.

Btw Dutch have allready enough players, so think all new players should start 1/2 year in the danish nation before they could move😈

I play with my son. He became rear at about 100 hours, But that was back last summer, guess you can do it in about 20-30 hours today.

Well you shoudn’t be able to take more money, than I have on the ship. Lets say I have 10 billions. I have to get ressources, it will cost me lets say 100.000, why would I bring all my money. The rest I most likely would have in a bank back home. So you should only be able to take what i bring,

Real currency and denomination
Current name for in game currency is outdated (it was always only for temp name).
The game will move to a Caribbean currencies of the 18th century

There shouldn't be an exclusive  list of favored clans. This would give the larger and/or older clans a significant advantage over smaller or newer clans and would probably stifle competition in this area.

Historical currency sounds good so long as you can get it by trading or combat.

From devs. When they showed the numbers that looked in in each nation. As I remember Dutch had about 240 and dane 220. Since Dutch have got Havoc an Dane Exile, so think we should have dips on all new players.

But ofc wrong to say enough players, think most nation can use more players, just that we need them more.

1. that was months ago

2. it doesnt show rvr players, only logins in 2 weeks

3. You could also have 100 players more now due to reverse'snstreams. BF wasnt that big in that time aswell

 

But I agree HAVOC already has 200 players active daylie so we should be bigger now
