  1. It's not that big:) Look here: http://www.thenrg.org/gus-agustin----nrg-member-ship-model-photos.php Your next option would be Fair American or Stuart Royal Yacht
  2. 'Dryade' Dryade was an 38-gun Hébé-class frigate of the French Navy. In December 1787, Vénus formed a frigate division under Guy Pierre de Kersaint, along with Méduse, and sailed to Cochinchina to ferry Pigneau de Behaine, Ambassador of France. In 1794, Dryade was at Brest under Ensign Meynene. The next year, under Lieutenant Lafargue, she cruised off Bretagne. From 1796, she was used as a hulk in Brest harbour, and was eventually scrapped in 1801. A model of Dryade is on display at the Abbey of Saint-Remi. 7. Can you guys add transparency amount slider to settings?
  8. It must be finished by now. I think they just polishing it and holding for the right patch.
  9. dramamine added to to ships carrying contraband? This post has no structure. (ex. I like turtles) Explain what are you talking about. Explain why you want this in the game. Explain what benefit it will provide to the game.
  10. I never press X. I get what I get after battle is over unless I want to sail it. (Traders only). If you kill it(boarded) system should count it as yours in the end. Main question is how can we fix this problem and prevent it from happening again when new players join the game?
  11. http://online-stopwatch.chronme.com/ Simply play in windowed mode and use online chronometer. Same thing. or use this map, it will tell you time from point A to pint B on the bottom: http://burningsail.com/

  17. Can we get Super Sampling option in NA? for those who can afford new Amd Zen systems. Look here: https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/37214 I know we already have some of these: SSAA, or Super-Sample Anti-Aliasing is a brute force method of anti-aliasing. It results in the best image qualitybut comes at a tremendous resource cost. SSAA works by rendering the scene at a higher resolution, 2x SSAA renders the scene at twice the resolution along each axis (4x the pixel count), 4x SSAA renders the scene at four times the resolution along each axis (16x the pixel) count, and 8x SSAA renders the scene at eight times the resolution along each axis (64x the pixel count). The final image is produced by downsampling the massive source image using an averaging filter. This acts as a low pass filter which removes the high frequency components that caused the jaggedness. MSAA, or Multi-Sample Anti-Aliasing is an optimization of SSAA that reduces the amount of pixel shader evaluations that need to be computed by focusing on overlapping regions of the scene. The result is antialiasing along edges that is on par with SSAA and less anti-aliasing along surfaces as these make up the bulk of SSAA computations. MSAA is substantially less computationally expensive than SSAA and results in comparable image quality. FXAA, or Fast Approximate Anti-Aliasing is an Anti-Aliasing technique that is performed entirely in post processing. FXAA operates on the rasterized image rather than the scene geometry. As a consequence, forcing FXAA or using FXAA incorrectly can result in the FXAA filter smoothing out parts of the visual overlay that are usually kept sharp for reasons of clarity as well as smoothing out textures. FXAA is inferior to MSAA but is almost free computationally and is thus desirable on low end platforms. Ambient Occlusion is a set of methods used to assist in simulating the effects of ambient light on geometry, in particular it is used to estimate how exposed a surface is to ambient light. The use of ambient light over point light allows designers to combine indoor and outdoor scenes and use variable day/night cycles without compromising the visual aspects of the scene. Point light sources work very well indoors, but using a directional point light source to simulate the sun and various atmospheric effects doesn't work very well. Instead, the brightness of the entire scene can be adjusted based on the occlusion of various surfaces. True Ambient Occlusion cannot currently be done in real time on modern gaming machines, it's too computationally complex. Instead, video games use several methods to approximate it. There are at least three main methods of approximating ambient occlusion, Screen-Space Ambient Occlusion (SSAO), Horizon-Based Ambient Occlusion (HBAO), and High Definition Ambient Occlusion (HDAO). Like FXAA, SSAO is pixel shader based and works independently of the scene geometry. It examines the depth buffer to search for pixels that may cause occlusion. It's an older method, It does not have a high performance hit but it does improve visual quality somewhat. HBAO and HDAO go a bit further and attempt to reconstruct a local part of the scene to obtain a better approximation. Both are more computationally expensive than SSAO and HDAO supposedly has a greater performance hit of the two, but I haven't done any experiments on my own.

    Blueprints

You only keep your Rank and Craft level when moving. Blueprints stay with Royal Shipyards and it's their property. Means you can't steal blueprints for other Nations. You need to start building tiny ships and grow again.
  19. Work in Progress. The Battle of the Chesapeake, also known as the Battle of the Virginia Capes or simply the Battle of the Capes, was a crucial naval battle in the American War of Independence that took place near the mouth of Chesapeake Bay on 5 September 1781, between a British fleet led by Rear Admiral Sir Thomas Graves and a French fleet led by Rear Admiral Francois Joseph Paul, the Comte de Grasse. Although tactically indecisive, the battle was strategically decisive, since it prevented the Royal Navy from reinforcing or evacuating the forces of Lieutenant General Lord Cornwallis at Yorktown, Virginia. When the French were able to achieve control of the sea lanes against the British, the result was the reinforcement of the Franco-American army with siege artillery and French reinforcements—all of which proved decisive in the Siege of Yorktown, effectively securing independence for the Thirteen Colonies. Presented in July 1781 with the options of attacking British forces in either New York or Virginia, Admiral de Grasse opted for the latter, arriving at the Chesapeake at the end of August. Upon learning that de Grasse had sailed from the West Indies for North America, and that French Admiral de Barras had also sailed from Newport, Rhode Island, Admiral Graves concluded that they were going to join forces at the Chesapeake. Sailing south from New York with 19 ships of the line, Graves arrived at the mouth of the Chesapeake early on 5 September to see de Grasse's fleet at anchor in the bay. De Grasse hastily prepared most of his fleet, 24 ships of the line, for battle and sailed out to meet Graves. In a two-hour engagement that took place after hours of maneuvering, the lines of the two fleets did not completely meet, with only the forward and center sections of the lines fully engaging. The battle was consequently fairly evenly matched, although the British suffered more casualties and ship damage. The battle broke off when the sun set. British tactics in the battle have been a subject of contemporary and historical debate ever since. For several days the two fleets sailed within view of each other, with de Grasse preferring to lure the British away from the bay, where Barras was expected to arrive carrying vital siege equipment. On 13 September de Grasse broke away from the British and returned to the Chesapeake, where Barras had arrived. Graves returned to New York to organize a larger relief effort; this did not sail until 19 October, two days after Cornwallis surrendered.
