    I disagree, you would get the much moaned about PvP more often. Trade must be done, mats must be collected and transported.

    Maybe, but it seems the PvPers don't want to look around, they want easy targets. This would encourage people to search for the enemy, they may even do it as a team.

    Just a thought, if AI ships/fleets could report sightings of players to their respective Nations, in an "AI Reporter" a similar chat box to Combat News. So say a Spanish AI is sailing along and a French player is within its sight, the AI reports something like, "French ship 20 k's SE of Turneffe" to the Spanish Nation. This would open up a whole new way to play and add to content in my opinion. Thoughts?

    Jesus! a constant never ending whine about PvP, I can get PvP anytime I want it, just have a base with ships in a freeport. But that's not the real problem, is it? You obsessed PvP ers want easy victims, not real competition, and ganking new people is what kills the player base. Green zones have kept the base at around the 500 (EU) mark. As for clans, ego's is the main problem I've come across and is one of the reasons I stay away from them.

    How to make players come back? The phrase you are looking for is: "How to encourage players to come back?" Sadly, this is a niche game, it is inherently slow, it's population will always be low.

    I like to trade, I enjoy trading, it has more than PvP for other people.

    No matter how much you want it, people who don't like PvP aren't going to be forced into doing it at your behest. This game has more dimensions than PvP.

    Make sure your mouse drivers are up to date. Uninstall/reinstall mouse drivers.

    The AI ship through the land is a long-standing bug, the transition to night is because the day is speeded up in OW as are the ship sailing times; if you had real-time sailing you'd be at sea for days or weeks. And in the Caribbean, the transition to night from day is quick about an hour or so.
