    Never had this, is it a GPU problem? Log out, log back in. Ping 0....got to be a clue to the problem.

    If a ship surrenders, nick their cargo but don't sink them. That way surrender is more likely, makes it cheaper and more profitable.

    Insurance! give us the option to insure our ships and cargo against loss.

    It's too expensive to fight battles in anything above cutter, until you make a fortune. Private traders didn't battle Pirates, Nations Navy's did, let Pirates be Pirates but let Nations have a Navy, where you join for a price and Captain a ship appropriate to your rank already kitted out for battle. Yeah thats a stoopid idea.
