  1. I think patrol missions proved that many more people willing to PVP. So in these missions, we can see shop bought ships, as well as many special crafted, expansive ships. Everyone can compete, and more or less, there is some reward. What if we can pull custom PVP missions from admirality. Example, I am a Prussian. I pick my mission from admirality for some price, cm, gold etc. I select a port, may be KPR. I select my parameters, 3x3 ships , up to 5th rates or 1500 BR vs 1500 BR or 1000 BR vs 1500 BR (for %50 more reward?), or even I add a reward, 50 pvp marks / 100 cm / 500k gold. These all can be selected, some increasing reward multiplier. Reward is what you get from a normal pvp battle. A mission is created just outside KPR and announced for British, I can select to enter with my group or wait for random guys from my nation. At the preset time Prussians and Brits meet at mission zone and join the mission. If mission pickers do not show in 15 min. they are defeated, it costs them the mission picking price. Attackers approaching mission zone has invisibilty and can not attack others at this time only join mission. After battle ends, attackers has more invisibility than regular time. This can give good pvp guys a good content, other than already coming to noob capitals and waiting for pvp, looking for noobs tagging npc, etc. It will prevent ganking, revenge fleets etc. Ships have to sail to mission, they have to carry repairs, most of ow pvp requirements needed, but both sides willing to fight. So what do you think, can this proposal with future improvements work?
  2. Since wipe (big one) we didn't get any patch focused on OW PvP. Can you please stop with development of port battles for some time and make something for OW PvP. You said yourself that only 6% of people participate in PB. That makes 94% of players that are not interested in PB (HUGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE majority). Can we have at least some of the OW PvP problems solved? TY

Lionshaft, Fearson from [NPG] and Francau and St0nkingByte [CKA] enagaged in multiple fake battles, tagging each other in a way to disperse the join tags and prevent Pirate chasers that were closing in from being able to tag them and keep them in battle. This happened multiple times. No sail shots were exchanged between the US and GB players - every battle was entirely fake. This is admission of guilt. 1. This is proof that Lionshaft and the above mentioned NPG and CKA members engaged in fake battles, claiming they are the same as Pirate vs. Pirate, to "attack each other to get away". 2. They pretending to not know that Pirate vs. Pirate creates a single-join-circle with no teams, everyone red and joining within firing range - this is done to create a false-equivalence and moral superiority to justify exploiting 3. Lionshaft, NPG and CKA members oriented their ships in such a way that join circles were too far to catch anyone by joining either side. This further proves that they exploited the tagging mechanic specifically to prevent actual combat from occurring, and further proves intent. 4. Server logs should prove that each battle contained no shots fired between NPG (US) and CKA (GB), despite them being in range at start of fighting - confirming it was done to exploit mechanics to prevent combat. Past tribunal decisions showed that using different nations to engage in Fake Battles to prevent OW Combat is a bannable offence. I hope to see consistency in the application of that precedent - with punishments to discourage further use of this exploit in OW. Lionshaft in particular admitted to those battles being fake and should be punished.
  4. If I tag a player in OW, than there is a battle where he surrenders and i shot only couple of shots on him, how do i acquire PvP marks?
  5. There has been always and sometimes conversation about content in OW. I think this subject has slipped away couple times. I am purely writing from PvP perspective. So what we need... The current missions are, sail to location X and fight. Buy goods and Sell at X. What if we had OW PvP missions? Lets 1st say: 1. We can inform about those for other people. In game world this mission was planned 1 month before, rummors run far. Sure, irl we would tell from it immediately. Yes, the world is too big to not let others to know about these. Yes, it takes 15 to 240 minutes to find someone, these things has to be indicated clearly. 2. We should be able to screw them up, but not F* them up! -> There has to be balanced instances. Yes, someone is doing mission for 4 persons in 5th rates, and you cannot go there and F* it with 25x 1st rates. Yes, there is a magical barrier blocking you and thats it. Yes, it is just a game. 3. You cannot teleport to friendly port after battle, there maybe more to come, yes you have to sail there. omg! 4. Rewards if you win. 5. Could be connected to RvR Mission examples: 1. Escort - Escort AI ships from port A to B. 2. Transport (And escort) - Transport goods, one has a trader, couple other players have escorts. 3. Hunt in region X, hostility creation maybe. - Go to area X, while you are there, it creates hostility if you just are there 30 minutes. The other faction will be informed that you are coming, and that you are going to be in the area for 30 minutes, and not vanish in some mission and never to be found again. Other faction has time to go and look for you -> PvP 4. Destroy tower X - Like Port Battle, but smaller, and just destroy a tower or a fort. 5. Transfer goods to build tower X - Destroyed tower/fort can be built again, but you have to actually transport those goods. 6. Treasure hunting - Fish a bottle, X% change to get a map, collect your friends, use the map, you have X hours to sail to location and pick the treasure, sail back to port to open and see what you got. 7. etc. Not a mission but a system: 1. Bounty Hunting, add a bounty for a player. If someone is able to sink, he will claim some/all from the bounty. e.g. Blackjack Morgan has been sinking way too many ships and you want revenge. You add X million bounty from him dead or alive. You sink him, and you collect the money. Maybe even fame from this, adding a rolling list of bounties claimed. 1a. You have to sink, capturing is not enough. Adds abuse protection. 1b. If you capture him in a basic cutter -> You get nothing. The ship defines how much from the bounty you are going to get. If bounty is high and he always sails in a surprise, it can be that he has to lose 41x Surprise before the bounty is gone. Abuse protection once again. 1c. You set this bounty in port X, you can claim it only if you are in port X. You can set a bounty in KPR, and only your countrymen can claim it. (They should not allow allies to sail in your ports, removes reasons for RvR, I assume this will be removed as well, right?) 1d. Bounties do not count in RvR. You sink him in a port battle -> You cannot claim the bounty 1e. Bounty divided between kill/assist players. We are going to get new RvR system. After this, I think they should fix bugs from it, and major flaws. Then they should add other content as well. If they do not add other content, at launch we have RvR, port battles, and ? So they should add other activities already, so that we can test those before launch as well. OW PvP missions can create a lot of things to do. In theory, should create a lot more than for example those port battles.
