simply reporting only informs the devs. It is everyone's responsibility to uphold everyone to a higher standard. It's also important to let communities know about aholes so they all can see what kind of person the ahole is. Or are you saying there should be no public records of rapists and murderers and anyone who commits a crime? People should report in game AND to the community. If you don't like seeing people reported, then don't read these report posts on the forum and cry about them like a snowflake.

After months of knowing a wipe was coming, are people honestly still complaining about how their lives have been completely ruined and how empty their life is losing XP? Just curious. I mean, do you plan on playing this game forever? If you ever planned on quitting the game sometime in the future, then the quote "all this time I've played has been wasted time" is the exact same situation as the devs wiping everything. Devs wipe the game = lose xp and all that time was a waste; you quit playing the game now or in 2040 = you lose xp (in a sense because you're not using it anyway by not playing) and all that time was wasted. If you don't like the game, just stop playing and go find another game that's not EA and will never change. If you like the game, then just play. Frankly, all of us who plan to keep playing are rather tired of hearing the same complaint for the last 2 months. Deal with it, or don't and move on. You should not be trying to influence those who plan to continue playing to instead be in a rage like you are. We are comfortable with our lives and are comfortable with no game ever influencing our lives so much that we would consider it a wasted life. I personally loved the grind of ranking up and welcome it again.

I'm cornfused...If one server loses everything and the other keeps nearly everything, then does this mean our characters are no longer interchangeable on both servers? ppl make of it what they will. pbs and pvp still happening. not as frequently, but what else are we gonna do with our ships? we either lose them in battle, or lose them to a wipe. most of us would rather do so while having fun in a battle.

Another option is to delay the lineship progression until the forts are destroyed by the MBrigs and blockade the Russians from exiting the pass. I think it's just a matter of getting more PBs tested out to figure out a better strategy. It will take time.

IMO, forts should be slightly OP. Port battles should favor the defenders. I'm not saying by a large percentage, but some.

My Indiaman and a Polish Player's Wasa were turned into the wind, speed was 2 kn and I successfully boarded the Wasa. However, with 5 seconds left on the first round, all of a sudden his Wasa raised sails instantly (like they were down and then within 1 second were at full) and accelerated at what looked like 10 kn (from dead stop to 10 kn) to break the boarding. I created a F11, but only minutes after I left the battle, as I was too pissed off to think about it in battle. How is this possible? I know lag could be sus, but neither of us had any lag and we were absolutely both in boarding, acknowledge even by the enemy. Weirdly enough, he was already prepared ahead of time for what he was going to do, yards turning, rudder turning, and he powered out of irons as though he knew before I did that the boarding was already going to be broken. Has this happened to anyone else?

We also need an in-game tutorial on crafting and better info for all the recopies. It took me a month before i even knew there were encyclopedias that could be crafted....and that was by watching live steams and then asking ppl in the game. All this info should be in game.
