  1. It's the weekend. And Green on Green already has a ruling as being illegal unless they steal your loot and you have warned them beforehand. It is our responsibility to report unlawful green on green and let the devs handle it During Business Hours. If you get caught doing it and punished, then it's your own fault.
  2. The game is not broken. I'm tired of ppl saying it is. The game runs. The ships stay afloat. The ships move. The cannon fire. You can make clans. Clans can battle clans. Clans can take ports from enemy clans. Clans can hunt individual clans all they want, etc, etc, etc. Just because a game is not designed how ppl want does not mean it is broken. If it were the case then fek all games cuz not a single game has features I want and don't operate how I want, so fine fek all games, they're all broken and pieces of shat....every game is trash. The incentive is to NOT be part of the zerg just because you can't handle sinking sometimes. The incentive is to not jump the bandwagon, The incentive is to maintain course and fight against retard zergs. #HODLTYT
  3. Do you know precisely what "appropriate action" is? If not, then don't claim as you do. Maybe the player was temp banned. Maybe it was a first offense and only warned. Maybe they had rank removed. We players don't have to be privileged with this info. We just have to report it and not do it ourselves. Until you know exactly what the "appropriate action" is, speculating, or making falsehoods is just stupid.
  4. @Ink already made the decision that green on green is punnishable. If ppl keep doing it, then they knowingly are breaking the rules. Devs should NOT have to respond immediately, nor fix something that ppl should stop doing immediately. If they do it, then they get punished when it's not a weekend. It's the weekend. They don't have to deal with it until Monday. If ppl keep doing illegal green on green, then come monday they will be punished.
  5. It happens to many players on the very first time we enter OW and the very first time entering a battle. For almost all of us who have this problem, everything is fine every time after. But when first loading the game and then first entering OW there is a delay, and then entering our first battle (OW battle or PB) there is a delay. That is why I always battle a NPC first before I hunt for PvP.
  6. Sounds like a bit of Alt farming was going on. Either way, green on green is punishable.
  7. I've made this suggestion before and too many players voted it down because they didn't want "unfair targeting" of themselves. The second biggest reason was alt farming, ppl placing bounties on their alts and getting the easy reward.
  8. @koltes When you craft, are you using a Shipwright perk? I'm curious to know if that perk reduces dbl cost as weel, or only labor hours.
  9. OOOHHH SHIP! I love the idea of RNG flag drops...but make them one time use only. Like we could set 1 flag on only 1 ship and once that flag sinks with the ship then it's gone...like upgrades. Noice!
  10. Frontline needs more restriction from Free Towns allowing for only 1 nearby Regional capital, imo.
  11. The Port Points (and BR) should be related to captain interaction. All ports should have started very low. Then the more captains creating clan warehouses, resource buildings, crafting houses, etc would raise the Port Points. Nations would also be require to deliver standard goods regularly to maintain the points. The points would drop the more deliveries that got missed. If it happened too often, then the port would revolt to Neutral. All these things, plus the forts and towers, would also correlate to the port's BR. TLDR, yes, player interaction should have raised the Port Points and these points should correlate to the Port BR.
  12. ya, i 4got which, and now i see it puts spoilers inside of spoilers trying another way
  13. We used to be able to use more than one
  14. While screening Morgan's Bluff against the Dutch, US, and Swedes, we found ourselves in our 4th skirmish of the night. This time against @Davos Seasworth and his BORK squad. This was a good, fun battle amongst friends. Sadly, our cheap Pandoras were no match. I still can't aim those damn decks properly, always flying high. Maybe I need to use it once in awhile for a knowledge slot on it. heh. GG BORK. I couldn't comment on the vid, so I'm posting your vid here. Well done. and great music!
  15. @admin will we ever have the option for Clan Flags? Meaning, say the Clan Creator can select 1 of a bunch of icons that will show up on any flag we choose to fly? Like something in the upper left or bottom left corner? Maybe a National Crown, or King's Crest or Crown, or a Prince's Crest or Crown? Or maybe we could have a mini-flag selected as the Clan Flag that would fly on all main masts, instead of random signaling flags? Same size, but selectable by the Clan Leader? This would be easier coding.
  16. Getting back to the topic. Yes, it is imperative that we can have intra-national wars for Port Battles. It's a pain in the ass when an alt clan takes a port and leaves it open doing nothing for upgrades and just leaves it sitting there. We need a way to take that port back. What happens when someone takes a port and their clan leaves the game, is it locked until another nation takes it? It's just too frustrating for no reason.
  17. Consider recent Tribunals, apparently the Pirate Rules of Engagement have finally been defined. Pirates can join both sides of a battle. - obvious mechanic Pirate's own clan mates can choose both sides of a battle. - again obvious mechanic This mechanic does allow for the raising of BR to allow for more Pirates to join the opposing side of the battle. - seen in multiple Tribunals as a legal mechanic Pirates joining the side of the battle they wanted to raise BR on can leave the battle without firing on opposing Pirate side. - seen in multiple Tribunals as not punishable However, No one on any side is allowed to fire on anyone from their same side: No Green on Green firing. - as seen by Ink's Response Here If anyone is seen firing on teammates from their side then they are considered a target by that side and can be destroyed by the side they joined. TLDR: The Pirate RoE is defined as being allowed to join the enemy's side of the battle to raise BR, but cannot fire on the side they join, AND can escape as soon as possible without any Tribunal worthy punishment. Devs and mods can correct this if it is incorrect, but recent Tribunals over the last few months seem to correspond to my statements. How I believe Pirate RoE should work: Open World Battles Only Pirates can join both sides of a battle. Pirate clanmates MUST join same side. Pirates can be targeted by the enemy side AND by any nation joining on the Pirate side. - All verse Pirates on any side Pirate vs Pirate Battles Pirates should be able to tag and attack other Pirates not in their clan. Pirate clanmates MUST join same side. All nations can join the Pirate vs Pirate Battle Anyone from one Nation must join the same side as others from that Nation Pirate Port Battles Pirate Clans should be able to attack other Pirate Clan Ports.
  18. In Clan Member List, there's plenty of room to add each member's Rank and Crafter Level. Plz and TY
  19. It would be nice to have a clarification the explains precisely whether this is a pirate mechanic or if it is illegal. Last I remember, @admin or @Ink stated it is the current mechanic and is legit. However, I think clans should be required to join the same side. I also believe that rats should be able to have rat vs rat battles that all nations could join a side. EDIT: From now on, everyone needs to know that once they receive fire from someone on their team that they have the rite and obligation to destroy that captain. Do not trust them to stop.
