  4. Since we can not prevent the enemy to capture the ship, by drilling holes or similar,() sometimes "we" are forced to sink him by an ally, or a friendly ship. Legit in my opinion, historically and in the game.

  7. You forget that THIS IS A GAME, not a freaking simulation. People are supposed to have fun, and not having a 100 % simulation of sailing ages. Otherwise i suggest we sail 1:1 in OW. Now that would be realistic, wouldn`t it? In your case KPR to Savanna having a bad wind , 2 hours. Awesome! Totally realistic. Now quit spamming crap here.

  9. I am all for alliances, if it goes more into depth.But more than simple button clicking is not possible in NA, so forget it.

  14. This won`t help either.... There are many of those actually on the map, but only few are being used.
  15. As long we don`t have ports which are worth being conquered, there is no point changing hostility. No economy, no campaign, no letter from Europe, all ports in same region produce trading goods which can not be sold anywhere, but in enemy capitals(or you need to sail 3 hours to somewhere), no deeper content but shooting ships or crafting them... Well, no fun, no players, no game

  17. Low population is a symptom to, what everybody calls "lack of content". It is not the source, but REACTION to a game that has not much to offer, but calling itself "sandbox" or "MMO".

  19. But flags won`t help solving the bigger issue, which is boredom in game, and conquest which has no purpose. Bring back flags or marks or whatever it is, if there is no purpose taking a port, you will have 2 months hype about something new, and in 6 months you can watch how numbers decline. Again.
  20. Try to read first what someone is writing before you get all cocky PBs are low because players are BORED. There is nothing to conquer, there is no motivation for it. THAT is the problem of the game, not the hostility mechanic. There is nothing to do in the game. "Your" system, which is NOT yours, was in the game already, and it was changed, i can remind you why if you want.
  21. Basically the same as it was..And PB is 24 hours later? Lol. Facepalm. So you need to do again PVE to "create" PVP, and there is no guarantee for PVP? Besides, you forget that soon there will be no more "Combat marks" or "PVP marks". Once again, if there is no gain in conquest, there is no incentive to do conquest. As it is now. Changing the hostility mechanic does not help.
