  1. Ahm. No. Learn to play, and ask things you need to know in your NATION/CLAN chat. Maybe an extended tutorial should teach new players more things, than simple sailing and shooting.
  2. Exactly.."Money needs to go somewhere". And that is the major problem with NA "economy". It doesn`t flow between players as it should.
  3. Of course you were, like everybody else was, and AFTERWARDS, when devs removed austerity, you were not, like everybody else. See how simpleminded this "economy" is? Where do you see economy in this game, when you need to sail 30 min. in some regions, earning 3-4 millions per run? Is that economy? Nobody needs an alt account to get rich, since shops are full with trading goods, but having an alt to gather resources which matter? Copper ingots, Teak, White Oak, Cartagena Tar? No? There is no supply and demand in NA, because game mechanics are that simple, which means PLAYERS can not influence them. And if i can`t influence market, because everything is there, it just needs to be picked up, then, it means there is no economy in NA.

  5. Alt accounts are allowed, i know. We have infinite supply of everything, but game can change mechanics. We had austerity immediately after the wipe, remember? When devs realised what mess they produced, they removed it. Now we have shops flooded with everything. Awesome "economy". There is no "ECONOMY" in NA, unless you believe in Santa Clause. Trading goods are useless, most woods and goods you need can be crafted, and if you don`t have teak or white oak, well, you explained already.... USE ALTS. Austerity after the wipe, a year ago? You were rich? Everybody was poor these days lol.
  6. Hoarding and stockpiling are two different things in my opinion, although they sound similar. Having huge amount of materials and resources, and not being able to use or sell them properly, is just a symptom of a broken "economy" in NA, an "economy" that does not exist.
  7. It is denomination of gold and pvp marks. Few new goods will be added, which are probably trading goods.Crafting is changed, so less clicking. I don`t know what you mean now with "economy". There is no economy in NA.
  8. What "economy"? There is no "economy" in NA. Even "better" if money gets tied to your vargo, so you need to haul money with you all the time. Ruin the game completely. ;) p.s. this has been discussed, only for few moments, i don`t think it is going to be in game.
  9. And why risking being sunk then, by taking a mission, where chances to gain something are 50/50? Foreign trading goods can be sold in each national capital with 200% win...
  10. A whiner for finding holes in suggestions? Got it Yes i do, but not so often as before. I can not stop to repeat : It is boring, and if it remains as it is, this project is going to fail.( Well, actually, it is already at the bottom, considering how many stopped playing for same reasons) About solutions: You grab out the suggestions, given from players already 2 years ago, and look how many of those have been in game, you might change your rookie attitude. Because if you think, or even worse hope , that this project can bring back all these guys which left, you are a dreamer. Developers want this game to be a pew-pew, and that`s it. Forget about EVE online in Caribbean
  11. Now imagine a fleet of trader brigs, loaded with expensive goods.... and teleport to capital. mission accomplished. Lol?
  12. What is the issue here? This happens on regular base, all the time... 1.Introduce a new ship 2. "Oh it is "OP"" 3. "Nerf, buff" 4.Rinse and repeat. Lol.
  13. Gave up trying, because: 1. Nobody listening/reading anyway. 2. Devs have totally different idea how this game should be, than the most people playing it. 3. Their ideas,solutions, reflect the numbers of players on the server, which are low. So, bad design and unsolved questions brought NA from 2500 players to several hundred on good days.. Questions?

  15. First of all, if you want to read something about ships of 17th and 18th century, you can visit any website in internet, which provides such informations. Secondly, this project is at the edge of decay, with extremely low numbers of players, it is becoming boring very quickly, it is absolutely unbalanced, basic RoE is not fixed, there is nothing much to do but shooting ships and crafting ships. I would expect from someone who is a "tester", @Fluffy Fishysuggestions to break this wicked circle, named above and NOT a half ass scientific research about cannons and ships(Xebec) which are not needed.

  19. No. That is a real "pay to win", and i am certain, despite all issues and problems, nobody wants THIS SHIT in NA. Thanks for reading.
  20. Uhm what? Issue with PVP zones is massive ganking, 7vs1 or similar, where RoE does not work, and not lack of PVP. For developers it seems to be more important polishing the surface, than developing working RoE or new content, so yes, NA is boring at the moment.
  21. "Saving Captain Reverse" is the name of the picture....it started with 7vs1 Although the famous and notorious @ Cpt. Reverse did not need help, some other players were accidentally around, and are proud achieving the goal Happy End and RUM for all winners
  22. 90% of all ports are worthless and useless. Polishing surface won`t make it better.
