  1. That's stupid. Believe me I understand your problem but your solution does not fix the exclude of a whole continent full of players. The US-players does have the right to play as we all do and you cannot just ban them all because they are living at the wrong place of this big blue ball. Neither is the playerbase strong and big enough to split the servers in continental servers. Some speech like "you will ruin the game!" is not helpful, it's stubborn
  2. First. The problem is not exactly addressed to the devs I think. The allies are hard tied because we did so. Since I am playing this game I had one(!!!) month when allies switched sometimes. After that it was clear that the Spanish, french, danish expect us to be the devil in person which should be punched to the ground. And since that time we considered the "big ally" to be wrong and outraged how they could dare and towed us straight to the nations which was ready to take the challenge against big fleets of Spanish, danish and sometimes pirate fleets. And this situation we have since March 2016. Since that time there was no moving in the diplomacy and this is not because of the devs, it's because the anger was so strong that no faction was willing to think of the tactical issue to change the faction because if you do so the other side was willing to do everything to make the former allies sure will never be willing to speak with you anymore. As long one side decides that if his former allies declare war it will be forever and unforgivable there will be no change in this situation - no matter which ally. Second. Let's think of what happened when a war-faction "collapse". Right, one side won, other side looses. This is maybe a missing part. Because the two allies are always the same, because there is no point were "all this killing ends", were you can regain strength and form up new allies. In my opinion diplomacy-mechanic is quite good. The problem is that we do not have any need for other varieties of allies neither do I think anybody is willing to vote another vote than he did before. It's like "voted war once, will vote war forever" or "Once time voting green" always "voting green". It feels just "save" and people start to outrage if they see a former ally is voting war in higher numbers. Edit: By the way. I remember times dutch players quitted, I remember british player quitting, and I am sure that after the rumored danish quit their will be always someone quitting. So the problem is not about the "first big quit", it's seasonal to every faction in this game. The problem is as long as we wont change our thinking about "enemies" and as long we are real life pissed about our pixel-enemy as long people will quit from time to time.
  3. Well as long whole pb-fleets log out in front the contested port we have to screen right in front of the port battle. A higher radius won't change that fact. So fix this exploit and I would love to screen in some strategical places and not just in front of the harbour. Just my two cents.
  4. Watching yesterdays Portbattle at Castries was so much fun. Like a good football-match just with burning ships instead of red cards.
  5. But the antagonist would be able to await you between that to create something like a challenge...
  6. As I said above. Remove the Save-Port-Jump in the battlescreen and the players will stop the prefered tactic to gain hostility with PvE mission -back to safe port - Pve Mission - back to safe port - and so on...
  7. Well I am getting older. Needed the whole day. Happy new year everyone and good speed to us all.
  8. Ok so let's go: The first problem is the ability to jump to a safe harbour from battlescreen. A big hostility fleet is sailing out of the Free Town for Rear Admiral Mission, the antagonistic fleet can just hope to find them in the OWM. If not the guys will jump into the free town to repeat that tactic. Remove that and you will highly increase PvP because right know the hostility fleets are avoiding it with that mechanic. Not to tell about the sadness that any thrill to be caught while doing a trader-hunt in hostile waters or what (At this point my best regards to HRE/Sweden which decided not to flee with the Port-Jump-Mechanic but fight at Jamaica in minority after being caught by our patrol-fleets). Resulting problem is that the antagonistic part is tired of sailing around on OWM looking if they luckily can fight the single hostile-PvE-mission to jump in. And so they stop it with frustration waiting for the portbattle. But because you can just generate two portbattles per day it's very hard to become part of it. Because it's full. So what's left? Screen and hope that any hostile ships come along which you can chase and hold in battle so they cannot join the fight about the port. Ignore that all and do what's left to bring you joy: PvE-missions... Conclusion: Remove the Jump-To-Port-Beaming, PvP killing mechanic would be a good start About the two portbattles... it sounds like I think otherwise but I think it's a good thing that the 10 portbattle-zerg-run stopped. So I think that's a good thing. But the satisfaction of players which weren't able to join such a battle would be higher if they have the feeling they did their usefull part hunting hostility-fleets before the attack which brings me back to the Remove-point....
  9. You mean we behave like beaten dogs while you folks are insulting our allies? No way mate ....
  10. Dear allies, be sure LV doesn't and will never ever speak for our Council, neither do we agree with his unstyle of insulting just everyone, every second and every single letter. Just ridiculous... I am more and more sure you're a spy to destruct our nation and allies.
  11. Reading how LV is complaining about the decision of ZERG to include smaller clans in RvR, I really lost any hope and want top apologize to all british mates I told to wait what TOXIC will do for the nation and player-base before arguing against them. So Dear Lord Vicious. You might be a good commander and I welcome you to work together with us. To decide in the Council what's best for all of our player base. If you are able to socialize with us I welcome you as an officer of his majesty. But this nation which friendship and solidarity has grewn over months and brought us to the point every player, every clan has been adjudged to be worth. And every player and clan with the rank and ship and will to RvR can be part of any battle he wants and the British Council as a meeting of all this clans and not a self-advertising overlord is in charge to plan which clans are going in for battle. If you really think, and I really hope that this is all a big misunderstanding, that you can overrule and command us, after months of resistance, ... then you are in the wrong nation... Best regards JA
  12. I don't know if it's metioned on another place so if the forum is full of this suggestion please go ahead, but if not: As it is clear that it would be low priority, how high is the chance that the devs will introduce the possibility of naming the ships? Wouldn't it be great if you are able to name your prefered huntign, trading oder battle-ship? Of course it can end ob worse if players handle this with a bad attitude like naming a ship "0785wacker-poop" or somewhat - this is always the danger. But on the other hand it would be fun and something more personal to loose you trader "HMS Honeygold" and hunt it back with your "HMS Falcon"
  13. Hey folks, I had a little suggestion. What if the weight of your load would influence your speed? And what if you would have the opportunity to through it over board in the Open world as well than in battle (with some crew needed for that) to make it out? And what if hostile ships would have some seconds to salvage that goods? That would bring some mechanics in the game: 1. A captain has to think about what weight he transportes 2. A captain has to make decissions like. What does I want to save. The ship? The cargo? Which cargo and which not? 3. A captain can make some tactics like can I use some goods of less worth as a bait. 4. The hostile can make a decission to take the bait or to hope his prey has better goods on board... So what do you think?
  14. Because of you all using this - of course we will. Dammit what do you think would happen? Do you really think we will just stay beside watching how your allies are starving out our playerbase with that stuff? What else can we do to show how broken this is? So yes, we will do this I guess. If you play unfair we don't have another choice. The very wondering crash of all our teamspeaks at the very moment of the portbattle not to tell. This is just low. So low. You prever fair fights? Show us...
  15. Great job. But may I asking... Why were the cannon sounds (and cannon lightnings) on open world removed? I loved this detail.
  16. To be fair we weren't trapped in the bay we sailed there for several reason's (Even the flag was down for that moment so whatever). First to get you tired of waiting there after you bored us to run in distance all time in stead of fighting, second to have a try for you following us for the last stand alone (well not alone more stand fleet I guess). You didn't and we didn't do you the favour to let us been shooted from distance for nothing. That's tactic, nothing less. Listen you made a point with the disorganisation and we know that point. We've a lot of pubbies which have to learn (what they do actually right now) and lots of people rejoining after monts of break. Nothing special. Unconfortable at the moment but at all just something every playerbase had, has or will have - but okay, you have a point. But the picture with the "trapped british navy" is just propaganda nothing more. And that's the problem. Everytime I think you are right with something you destroy this moment immediately with something completely stupporn, one dimensional and just untrue crap. About the point that the french needed SORRY to get the flag which was used for a french port because they decided not to come up for a fight and preferded to gank our pubbies in front of Kingston instead with a full player number... well that's another story...
  17. And so are you. So were the others with the Dutch. so just stop to throw with stones in a house of glas.
  18. You cannot claim that there are more british players on our home island than in south america. That's just silly. Besides, I remember the day the map was going to be painted black. I remember the AUSEZ-Clan going pirate to make some kind of "the mechanic is cracked"-statement which I never had understand. And british palyers taking a break because the funpart was burned out because of severall exploits. I was one of them. So ... the map was black ... yes but so what? Your mate Otto is calling us a zerg nation anytime we take a few ports, but you zerged the whole map and you are proud of that. This is confusing. And leads me back to my last post. You did it, we did it (stopped because everyone was calling us unhealthy for the community), now the spaniards, french, danish and swedes did it. So what? Get over it. New round, have fun again.

  20. From the album: Stuff

    just an idea
  21. Obviously, what you think that was declaired, what others wrote in the other thread you are talking about and what was shown and then unterstand and on topic discussed in this very other thread are two things. So yes, I know what I am talking about. The poor thing is you ignore what my post was about. Sad...
  22. I remember a time when we, the british declaired winning the war against spain. Spain was like "Nooo, we never surrender!" Than we did what you did in this war. We started to take one port piece by piece until Spain had five ports left. Then we talked again to Spain declairing that we obviously won. Spain again:"No! Never!" and the allies were like "Zerg Nation!" Well... Here we are. You did the same to the Dutch. You zerged them to less then five ports. You declaired Victory. They are like "No!" Same story. So what is this post about. Some of you may think it's about "Ah! You are baaaad and hypocrite" but, no.... I'm over with you did,but you first, you more, Yadayadayada... No. This post is just a reminder. That no side is really better then the other. All the anger in here is about pixels on both sides. Pixel nations and instead of divergenting in pixel-nation-communities we should start to act like one community fighting in pixel-nations against the other but for fun. It couldn't be healthy for this game that every time a nation read angerfull propaganda this nation is feeling upset, shooting back and retour. There is no use in discussing whether Dutch lost because there is no end of the war. There may be casefires but nether an end. Gentlemen, we PLAY the war in this game. It's like the napoleonic war. Enimies turn to allies or are forced to be. Then allies are turning for their own good or because they feel the time is ready to crush the forced ally-chains. So... This round was for the "DSSF maybe... well obviously helped by pirates" ally No matter why. So what? Wipe is coming in the next rounds. And then? New anger? New "We won." "No never!" Well as I proved every side was in former days in the exact same position then the other one and therefore I declaire the following for myself. Every playerbase of every pixel-nation is so much different to the others than they maybe believe. Every side was in the same shoes of the enemy or will be or be again. So... time for something new. Maybe we can have some cool fights in the future and after the fight we can shake hands and have a new round. I start. Nice advantage Spain. You learned to manage your fleet. Danemark, everytime fun to meet you at the waves. Unfortunately I didn't have the honour to fight against the other Pixel flags. But at least, good coordination mates. So, Wipe is comming.... We regroup, we train our lines, we are planning our tactic with our honourfull allies and then... Beware Spain... Beware.... And have fun. :-) Be sure I will... o7
  23. First, really? After ganking just in majorities, joining pb's with 1st rates and leaving when we do so to defend the port you feel like "being the man"? Second, I remember several fake flags in the very same second and an attack of Santanilla. After this action we started to p*ss you off, too. That's right. So go on and jajaja yourself
