Size 12. How To:Basically.1. Create a Google Doc named Ship Log Text. When you are playing, write your info in this google doc.2. Create a Google Doc named Ship Log. This is where you will put the completed images.3. Create a Google Drawing. Insert the book background texture. I then resize the book background texture to make sure it is 8.5 inches by about 7ish inches.4. Create a "Text box" over one of the book pages. Copy your text from your Ship Log Text and paste it in. Do the same thing on the next page of the book.5. I use "Dancing Script" for the font. Click on the Font(probably Arial), then click on "More Fonts." Find "Dancing Script."6. When everything is how you want it, go to "File", then "Download As", then "JPEG Image."7. Open up your "Ship Log" google doc. Insert in the completed image. It is really simple once you get a system down. Only takes me like 5 minutes per book image. P.s. Wouldnt it be fun if the game outogenerate such log recording sights of towns/ownership of towns, sights of major fleets and their position etc. If you capture a ship you would get access to the log. If we do have an ingame map in the future It could also update information about towns and ownership of those etc based on the log from the captured ship. From about 1775 onwards (an earlier date than just about every ship in the game currently), so yes, they were a presence. The very presence of Constitution, Lynx, and soon, Rattlesnake all very much point to the existence of a fledgling United States at the time. Thank you for being so humble and not rubbing my nose to the fact that I was so far behind your ideas with my little compass, sextant, and clock, as to look like quite the dork! I love your work! As you could see from my ideas, all I was doing were the graphics. I lack the talent to produce any code to make the graphics work in game. I hope the devs pull some of the ideas that I see throughout these forums and can use them in the final product. Meanwhile, while awaiting my return to OW...I will keep drawing. I downloaded a template http://www.presentationmagazine.com/editable-old-newspaper-template-4520.htm I use different fonts to get the effects I want.
