    Not a full alliance system but something like this: clan A from nation Aland adds clan B from nation Bland to its friends list. Clan B can help defend Clan A's port despite the fact they're in a different nation. Attacking is trickier it would require some clan/clan alliance lists.

    Idiots trying to have the only redeeming pirate feature removed. Once it is removed restrict pirates from sailing more than 6th rates and remove all their ports with the exception of mortimer.

    Now that I have some experience with the Constitution I have to say the ship does not deserve to be a 3rd rate, nor does it deserve to be a 4th rate. The rating system is just not very good, you have the 5th rates for example where apparently a cerberus and an endymion belong in the same tier. There need to be 'game tiers' that actually make sense, can't use historical ratings for game purposes.

    So who cares if there is less demand? Crafted ships are generally better than DLC ships, there will always be demand for better ships.

    I bought the DLCs for 2 reasons: - I don't like crafting and moving stuff around - I like the DLC ships I don't see why I should be penalized for this, the ships should have port bonuses, period, with the exception of 2 - hercules/xebec, these ships are simply broken.

    Definitely an annoyance, why not give out the loot, at least from the AI, when the battle is over? The current looting system does teach you to sail better I guess but if you've played the game for a while...

    forming alliances with certain restrictions is a way to 'reduce' the number of the nations. but even with those some mega-blocks of 'unofficial' alliances would be formed.

    These duel rooms made a comeback about 6 months ago, they were empty except for the first few days when it was brand new and shiny. People don't want this stuff, as simple as that.
