I would be all for it if the outfitting system actually allowed stuff like adjusting your sail plan, gun loadout, paint etc. There would be a base brig which you can outfit as you like, trader, navy or whatever. We can't do that in the game so I don't really care personally.

The game attracts a lot of people but has a difficulty holding on to them, the upcoming patch seems like a good start to help that issue (maybe).

@Cetric de Cornusiac Anyone can lead a nation and unite the clans, if they have some charisma and diplomatic skills to make that happen. There is no lack of diplomacy in the game, get some charisma and people to follow you and you may get a shot at it. There was a time when the francophones and anglophones in the French nation worked together but we lost the people who made that happen, Kamaa, Lone Wolf, you want to step in and fill their shoes? Go right for it but judging by your entitled posts you would definitely not get the job done.

Will the French who complain use this so called stargate? I'm sure some will while complaining about the Franco-Spanish alliance breaking down.

One thing for sure, the BR ratings of theHercules and the Requin are out of whack. A requin in a shallow PB would be worth, hmm, I don't know, 5 rattlesnake heavies and by that logic should have a BR rating of 5 rattlesnake heavies, I mean how many can you chain board before you're actually sunk? Maybe BR ratings should be based off what sinks what the most and dynamic? That'd be interesting to see a Hercules with 500 BR rating

Also pit is a traitor. That aside, I'd like to see more nations clashing. It makes for spectacular battles, the problem is, if one of the sides is not organized it usually leads to horrible defeats. Check that 'Great Battles' thread for examples. It's natural to evolve from that, away from a bunch of random players as shown in all MMOs that have a PvP component.

Actually I was sailing down to Belize area after a port battle.

I don't know to me it was automatic, it was pretty obvious you were going to haul it to whatever that port was. You running your mouth and flapping around trying to sink it was sort of pathetic though. So that's one, two, I don't usually read comments by people sailing in requins around safe areas, it's easy to, you know, get that seal clubbing bias going, so I think you're a scrub. The only reason you survived is because you guys bored me and I attempted a tack with 180 crew at which point I got boarded by a guy with stacked marines, muskets and crap, both were at 60% sails and missing large chunks of their hulls. That aside, I don't think we should be polluting this thread with our little squabble, hope to meet you soon in a safe zone near you.

I'm a North American player, no worries, I thoroughly enjoy whooping Spanish players in my xebec, if you actually joined one of those PBs we had against the Spanish I'd definitely whoop your ass too. Or do you just hang out at KPR in your xebec with your bud? Are you still upset we took the Belle Poule back?

Horrible dev decision to put this ship in the game, not because of its sailing profile or because mods make it OP. It's just an eyesore, give me a bermuda rig ship please.
