  1. I meant that those that will move to the new EU Safe Spaces server could (or should) be stranded there.
  2. The Devs listening appears to be selective. Players from the Western Hemisphere and Asia who are locked out of RvR during their primetime 5 days of the week raised that issue right after the current RvR Conquest mechanic was implemented many, many months ago. The response:
  3. AI Reinforcements were patched out long ago. Since it was the Spanish capital protected area the window for any other Spanish players to join is open much longer (the whole 90 minutes if I am not mistaken).
  4. I am equally concerned about this. I have multiple ports where I have "storage" trader ships that do nothing but hold finished parts or resources. What will happen to those stored parts/resources?
  5. I can see the point by some of concessions involving screening, but Potemkin has a very valid point. And to expand on Potemkin's point: Only a limited # of people can join a port battle; OW PvP is to a large extent currently non-existent, which for some players leaves screening actions as the best (or sometimes only) opportunity for some players to get meaningful PvP. Is there a way to satisfy the needs of everyone?
  6. 20:30???? That translates to 4:30pm EST, and 1:30PM PST. In other words, no RvR for North)/South American players Monday through Friday when most are either at work or school, and port battles only on Saturdays and Sundays. Am I to understand that correctly? If I am to be limited to RvR only 28% of the week, then perhaps I should ask Game-Labs to refund me $29 (72% of the $40 that i paid) as compensation for only being allowed to fully utilize the game 28% of the week?
  7. Rediii, Go back and listen to Jeheil's video. I never heard him say the word "Danes"; he said IIRC, "one particular nation" and "one nation". Did you somehow hear him say the Danish nation did it, because I didn't hear him say that. Did your ears subliminally tell you that it was the Danes doing it and if so, i wonder why you heard it that way? Something you want to share with the rest of us?
  8. 26 vs 24. Credit to the Spanish side that one (1) player left on their side, still leaving the PB at 25 vs 24 (and then only a few minutes later the Cerberus (Gregori) that joined the US side escaped (leaving it 25 vs 23). This is twice now that this has happened against the US/British in the last few days. Please devs, fix this if you want any hope of players respecting the integrity of the game.
  9. Thank you to the opposing side for having the extra player escape from the PB.
  10. Well, even that would not satisfy some. If two nations with too many players in the same time zone (say North American players) were to ally then you would still have others griping about nations/alliances being "unbalanced" and about the dreaded "n"nightflips word.
  11. My apologies for not including a Google translation in Spanish. It was inconsiderate of me. Mis disculpas por no incluir una traducción de Google en español. Fue desconsiderado de mí.
  12. Players in the non-European time zones doing RvR during their primetimes is no more "sabotage" than European players doing RvR during their primetimes. If you expect North American players not to do RvR during "your" nights, then should I ask European players not to do RvR during our (North American) days when we are at work/school? Maybe we should just limit ALL RvR to weekends when everyone has the best opportunity of meeting each other in battle? How do you think that (RvR only 2 days a week) would go over?
  13. The devs have "fixed" nothing yet in regards to the so called "nightflips" issue. I have seen no patches or hotfixes addressing the issue. And in case you hadn't noticed, we are almost an entire week into March and still waiting on the " Support patch: January " and "Content patch: February" patches.
  14. Should the Asian players also ask for their own server, since right now neither PvP1 nor PvP 2 server works for them?
  15. I simply ask to be allowed to play the game during my prime time, no different than players in other parts of the globe do.
  16. (my underlined emphasis above) Pablo, you are more than welcome to join the "day crew" in the Estados Unidos de America. ;-)
  17. I am not Christendom and Christendom is not me. i believe in Christendom's post he was referring to the "Chijohnaok Doctrine".
  18. My bold emphasis above. Wrong my Frenchie friend. The United States won a port battle at La Vega this past Monday. That port batte was not during the middle of the night, it was at 21:10 server time: And it was not a " minus forces or no forces" port battle: that is unless you think that 25 players of the Spanish nation (mostly VLTRA) constitute " minus forces or no forces".
  19. I play the game that the developers have set out. I have done port battles during EU primetime when my calendar allows it, and I also do port battles during my own North American primetime. I am not breaking any rules in the game. I am not using any illegal exploits or hacks to do so. I don't tell you how to play your game and you will not Hello Kitty tell me how to play my game.
  20. Wraith, I think what they are trying to tell us is this: If you are based in the Western Hemisphere or Asia you are entitled to pay $40 to play(or test) this game and you are also entitled to RvR during your own primetime on weekends only.
  21. Christendom, that PB only had 21 SORRY members in it. LV can't be held responsible for the poor performance and impact on the PB fleet of the 4 non-SORRY players. ;-)
  22. Posting in response only to your last comment which begins "...the idea that to agree on....". Did you take issue with the "Three Admirals Treaty" which had non RvR provisions? (IIRC that treaty specifically spelled out a small border "RvR" region where RvR between Britain and Spain was allowed and provided for no RvR between Britain and Spain in any other regions).
  23. First of all, I was not offended by your initial post. And I apologize for my tardy response to it. I apparently skipped/skimmed over it when you first made it and only noticed it today when the thread was linked in a post by Christendom. Next, you listed above in the quoted post both the 3 ports for Bermuda and the 3 ports for Kidd's Island. Neither Bermuda nor Kidd's are on that map. Neither of those regions were deemed as "US home waters" or a part of the "nation's home ports and economic bases". Bermuda is owned by our British allies, and, if I am not mistaken, the Kidd's is owned by the Pirates (but in no case are owned by the US Nation). Timucua is owned by our British allies, as are New Providence and Exuma but those areas are deemed to be within the "US Home Waters". But they are NOT owned by the US and were not included in totals that I included in my earlier post today. So it is NOT 45 ports as you contend. Neither the US nation, nor the alliance that we are in control both Pirate refit bonus regions. The US owns the Abaco region, which has a Pirate Refit bonus. The other Pirate Refit bonus region is Kidd's Island. To my knowledge, Kidd's is owned by the pirates. It is NOT owned by the US, and since the map reset has never been owned by the US. And as for the US (actually its alliance) owning both Live Oak producing regions, may I remind you that at map reset, the US owned one of the Live Oak producing regions (Georgia) and the Spanish owned the other (Timucua). The Danes then captured Savannah from the US, leaving the US and its allies with NO Live Oak producing ports. The Western Alliance was without a Live Oak producing region for (the my recollection) around 10 days to 2 weeks. At the time Fine Live Oak was vital for building exceptional first rate ships. It was vital for the Western Alliance to have a region that produced Fine Live Oak. The British then were able to capture Timucua. It was only some time later that the United States was able to recapture Savannah. Since the Fine Woods were removed from the game for building exceptional ships the importance of these two Live Oak regions is diminished. And one or more diplomats for the Eastern Alliance told us that they had more Live Oak stockpiled than they knew what to do with.
