As a point of information, this is the FIRST Global Server US Nation meeting (of the PvP1 & PvP 2 US nation members).. The prior meeting that was held on April 1st was a meeting of ALL nations on the Global Server. This one is for the US nation only.

Global Server US Nation meeting (PvP1 & PvP2) All players in the PvP 1 and PvP 2 US Nation that will be playing on the Global Server are cordially invited to a “US Nation meeting” to be held on Saturday, April 29th at 00:00 server time/8pm EST/7PM CST/5pm PST. The meeting will be held on the Tattered Flags TS. Such a meeting will be a good opportunity to “meet and greet” those from the US Nation that have played on the different servers Potential topics of discussion may include (but are not limited to): · To gauge the potential player numbers in the new Global Server US Nation · Discuss potential US nation strategies (at a very high level of course) · Discuss the possibility of a US nation governing/organizing structure · Discuss potential communication platforms (TeamSpeak, DISCORD, US Nation website, etc) If there are other topics that you would like to discuss post them in this thread or PM me here on the NA Forum and I can add them to the agenda. Well, yes, you can do that, provided that you do not redeem your XP. Unfortunately, once you redeem your XP you will pretty much be locked into that nation. Switching nations after XP redemption will set you back to the starting rank. No one is going to enjoy grinding themselves back up again.

I am unaware of such a spreadsheet for the future EU server. The one that Aventador created was for the Global Server. If those players intending to go to the EU server want to create a spreadsheet for the EU server, that is up to them to do.

You could also just start a "Scotch-Irish" clan under the flag of the French (as there historically was cooperation there) or under Spain or whatever nation that you desire.

Valid point. Given though that they are taking out alliances which will eliminate the ability to build production buildings in an allied port, you may sometimes be forced to conquer a "far flung" region because it either has a critical resource or a critical regional crafting trait.

Regarding 1) if you are France, the majority of your territory is on the eastern end of the map, but after the last map reset France also had the New Orleans region. Should France leave that region defenseless because it is so far away? As some have pointed out, GB also has far flung territories and Spain starts out even more spread out.

I don't foresee here moving very far from Boston Harbor.

Sounds like fun. You're so creative to have come up with this idea... ;-) The Devs drive the server activity down to almost nothing and players have to resort to creating content.

In the final weeks before the server changes and patches, I propose that the US nation on PvP 1 end all foreign alliances, and end all foreign wars.

It could be interesting to see but this may or may not occur on the new Global Server. There may be a dilution of PvP 1 players among several different nations. The new US nation on Global will probably be a mixture of PvP 1 & 2 players. The new British nation will be a mix of PvP 1 & 2 players. Even if a faction of old PvP 1 US nation players break off to another nation, you would still likely end up with a fleet mixed with PvP 1 & 2 players. Probably the best chance to see it would be a PB involving the Pirates (mostly PvP 2) vs what would be a mixed fleet of PvP 1 & 2 players.

So people will be required to use alts (or purchase another copy of NA) in other nations in order to get the Live Oak that their main character cannot obtain without owning one of the two Live Oak regions. Sounds like a win for those selling Naval Action accounts. ;-)

Agreed, F5 is your friend, particularly if you've lost a chunk of your crew.

Actually, I think he did but it may have been before he started the live stream (recording). I seem to recall Jeheil saying something along the lines of "I think that I was nightflipped out of bed to do this livestream". ;-) (Or maybe he said it in his last LTTK episode in reference to the Global Summit livestream).

This will not affect my choice of which server to play on. However, there are too many uncertainties at this point to definitively say which nation that I will choose. (Almost have to wait until after the servers are set up and see what the nation population balance is before I can definitely decide on a nation).

I believe that Jeheil will probably attend and live stream the meeting. I think once we get closer to the meeting a link for the livestream channel will be posted in this thread.

I believe that Admin already posted to indicate that your player XP AND crafting XP levels would be a redeemable. So you would be able to keep your crafting level with the upcoming patch. (whether and how this will eventually translate at final game release is another/separate discussion).

Can you now, or at the soonest opportunity, provide further detail regarding which ships might fall into which category (Available, Admiralty, high level ships, or Premium)? For example, I am curious which category ships like the Rattlesnake Heavy, Agamemnon and L'Ocean might fall into. Thank you in advance for your response.

Yes. You can still say "Yarrrrrrrr" after you attack an (AI/NPC) enemy.

Ich spiele Amerikaner in Naval Action. I bin ein Amerikaner (da geboren) und English ist meine erste Sprache. Deutsch ist meine zweite Sprache (meine Eltern sind Deutsch minderheits von Romania. Wir haben Deutsch zu hause gesprochen als Kinder). Es gibt ungefähr 6-10 Deutschsprachiger Spieler in die Amerikanische Nation in PvP1 Server. Es gibt jetzt ein Deutsche clan da (under diese clan hat nur ein paar Mitglieder). Da war einmal mehrere Deutsche clans in die Amerikanische Nation. I erinnere mich ein Jahr zurück da waren Vielfache PB's in die Bahamas wo die Amerikanische PB Flotte war meistens Deutschespracher und die PB Befehle waren in Deutsch.

All nations/clans (pirates included) that are currently on PvP 1 and PvP 2 and that intend to play on the future global server will be invited to this meeting. The only people that we ask not to participate are those players/clans that have announced their intention to play on the future EU server. As they have announced their intention to play on the other server, they should have little to no input into what those intending to play on the global server are attempting to do here.
