    @admin If pirates need to spend the same amount of effort and resources to turn a port to pirate, what's the point of allowing them to enter neutral as well

    Aren't those two a bit conflicting? I mean what will be the point of paying maintenance then. Do you lose control completely when maintenance costs are not paid?

    @admin Are you currently looking only for sources (books) or ship plans and info as well? I could post some ship info and plans here but i don't want to flood this thread. If you are looking for ship plans and info may i suggest a seperate subforum here or in the shipyard section so all of us can contribute?

    I'll take a look at my online stash of books. There will definetely be something helpful. Also i have an interest in the actions of the Greek Navy in the Balkan Wars,WWI and WWII. I have visited the armored cruiser Averoff of the Greek Navy, a heavily modified Italian built cruiser of the Pisa class. I will also visit it again this year after the maintenance work is completed. I have some info about Greek ships used in that era. Not much but it is something

    Sure map reset. The French, and probably others, will be as uninterested in PBs as they are now so...?

    People will join Brits or Pirates because they want to be in those nations for their reasons. Populations wont change drastically Also to those saying increase the gold rewards for PvP. What will be the point of collecting the taxes from the ports you own when you can get multple times more gold just by sinking a player. Ports actually will have some value now. If we want to be extreme, remove gold rewards completely or make em really small.

    If i recall correctly its some kind of desync issue. Restarting the game might help.

    Now let me give my rusty necromancing skills a go and revive this thread. I'm just going to leave this here for future reference. I mostly play on PvP EU at the moment. Around 500 hours of gameplay I've lurking in these forums since early 2015. Spending quite some time everyday Currently a student so i have loads and loads of free time I'm pretty bad at making a resume (CV) Does Greek count as a second language? ^^

    Who will decide that though? Are you thinking reputation like in Port Royale which comes through trading and other stuff? I though that the devs dont like these singleplayer aspects

    Seperate the national fortifications of ports from the war companies. For example why should Havana which is spanish use its fortification versus two french war companies fighting for the economic rights of the port(taxation)? Allow the war companies to create colonies or outposts in the towns themselves, like it happened it Constantinople by the Genoese. Make them use the taxes to build fortifications to protect the outpost like the Galata Tower. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galata_Tower
