And I am 100x more interested in spending time playing with what you have done best since 2015 than faffing about with hauling, crafting, grinding cash to compensate for loss, dealing with loss mechanic induced PvP aversion and similar detrimental distractions. People now think I'm a hater. I'm not. I adore core NA. I like the fun and good stuff and want to avoid the boring and bad stuff. #liberateNA

  4. We've done that all this time back to mid 2016, we have three years of data showing exactly how many people who are truly excited about eco-sandbox gameplay. I suppose the hard-core eco-sandbox guys are in effect happy with the status quo, since getting numbers up would entail shifting focus from eco work to fighting fun. #liberateNA

  6. The box and it's shape is less important than not getting hit in the first place and, if you get hit: reactive armor.
  7. Have you tried the PZs on War server? It's mostly ganks and counter-ganks, not at all conducive to the Peace mindset. Even if people "have to go there" it would ruffle feathers and make panties bunch up.

  9. Partly true. Most remaining so-called PvP players fit your description. However, true PvP players want fair fights with a challenge. I know a few such players still playing, but most of the players with those qualities aren't playing anymore. Keep in mind that ganking is institutionalized and assymetric warfare is celebrated in this game. The eco-sandbox fosters, encourages and enables PvP players of the type you described, it's working as intended.
  10. Now that I understand I support OP's request. Since we Legends players are so few and so stupid there is no way this could negatively affect the bot-humpers.

  12. The current rules didn't come about in a vacuum. We have experienced that lack of- or loose rules also have unintended consequences.

  14. OW Accel is way, way higher than that now. Any speed diff between travel and fighting is problematic for the fighting part. The tension created by the break between OW and instances has been so severe I can't understand why we would try that again. Admin has hinted towards NA2 with a 1:1 world. I can deal with spending 15 to 30 min setting up an attack or defense, but I'm worried that too many people have their limits at around 5 min before the fun should start. My experience with NA:OW since 2016 had made me list heavily towards making NA as accommodating as possible. The current club for the precious few makes me a sad sailor. #liberateNA

  16. No, the game went stale a lot like the current situation. Anyway... There are known pros and cons to the "clan based" and "ports must matter" mechanics we have in game now. The features were wished for by players due to the pros and warned against due to the cons. Now that we live in a game-world where the cons have caused exactly what we knew they were going to cause, I'm bewildered by anyone acting surprised. Motivational speeches here won't change a thing.

  18. That's a really cool one-liner that completely ignores the pivotal fact that we can't do anything about the players but actually can do something about the game.
