I can't access the ingame chat and i would like to know why i was restricted.

Side note: This is the first time I'm reading your forums and I see you have pretty extensive chat rules I don't see in most MMOs. I don't think most players read your forums, so if you actually want people to follow those rules, you should probably put them in-game too.

Wait you think people eulas or fine print on steam pages? I didn't even read the feature list on the steam page.

 

I would say that is your problem

Never sign a contract without reading ;)

Purchasing this game is a buying contract

No tribunal and no lawyer could help you at any time with this

Actually it's not my problem anymore, because they got back to me and my ban was a mistake.

 

It is the game's problem though if it starts losing players because they're breaking rules they didn't know existed. Just stick it in-game on character create with "actually read this" at the top. Ain't that hard.

Its not a game problem.

The rules are very simple. DONT BE A DICK

if you are a dick you will get banned. I don't want such players in the game. If they are in the game - i will be very happy to lose them.

Hello I have been banned from chat and have no idea why. I have never insulted anyone or been rude or said anything I shouldn't. I was wondering if there was a way to find out why I was banned because if I did something I shouldn't have I would really like to know what that is. I am on EU PVP1 name is Subaru. Thanks in advance if you can help at all.

Well, if that's the official opinion I won't push the issue too much farther, but I will say one last bit.

 

MMOs need a critical mass of players to survive. If you start losing people, then you quickly hit a death spiral of people quitting because there aren't enough people around. If your code of conduct was as simple as don't be a dick, then you wouldn't need that big list of items describing it. Some of the stuff, like swearing being fine but too much swearing being banable, just isn't something people are going to come into the game expecting. Some people will read your list and not care two shits, but other people will actually try to not get banned if they know what to be careful about. It's those people you put it in-game for, because each of them that sticks around is a little farther away you get from that death spiral.

yeah you feel like quantifying what constitutes a dick? please i would love to see how thats going to work out when you specify this in an EULA without a ton of refund requests because we may be sailors, but god forbid if we ever talk like anything but ned flanders from the simpsons, in your game of conflict, greed, and murder.

its not a secret that im not nice in chat, but i do act in the best interests of my faction. think malcolm reynolds from firefly, he was a dick. even if he was doing the right thing. so is that bannable? do you think.....i dont know have you gone too far? Being that this was not a condition of signing up, im curious

Ну, продемонстрируйте мне строки, содержание которых нарушает правила игры.

 

Откуда мне знать, что впаяли на 1 неделю, а не пермач? Т.к. другая сторона, с которой и был обмен "оскорблениями", получила модерку в чате спустя 3-5 дней после конфликта. Запоздалый предвзятый бан. Скрины в наличии.

I find it very attractive that there are rules for bad language and bad behavior. I many online games young and immature players are using very abusive language and are displaying there lack of social skills. This is ruining the joy of the game for many of the mature players who like the fun of the game and want to spend some time in a fun and competitive environment. I think your attitude towards the abusive and aggressive chat and play is so great, that I believe Naval Action will continue to be a great game.

 

I didn't know about the possibility to complain about - or report abusive players, so I have chosen to ignore these players. But from time to time I can see them agitating the other players with their immature and abusive statements in the chat. It sometimes seems that this is their biggest thrill of the game, and I agree with Admin that the game is better without them.

 

This code of nobel conduct is of great importance in a time where many youngsters have no ideas about social manners and respectful behavior.

 

Thank you for this extremely pleasant game.

In case you have the same character name as the forum one, you have been banned for 7 days due to multiply ingame chat abuse cases.

Forum does not related to ingame bans.

If you want to know the reasons, you may send to me or Barberouge a private message

Why in private message ? what do you have to hide ? why have you deleted yet another post of me saying I have been banned for criticizing a MOD ?
