You have a large problem converting new to veteran players partly if not mainly due to the fact Veteran PVP at all cost players are hammering them day after day. Have a group of pirate players on the USA coast every day from a free port north of Capital hammering new guys trying to trade to afford a ship same 4 guys daily. Every time they are hitting the new players and constant 4-1 hammering them. Try to deal with them they run wasting many game hours chase chase chase. You have certain clans from 2 nations hitting new players day after day the outcome is they don't return and get fed up with it. Main problem has been for awhile the max rank PVP gods in these clans don't have a brain in their heads doing this. One other main problem letting ppl build ports in free ports by capitals they occupy them with PVP veterans and hammer the new guys when they know the main nation pop is not online.

Alts have taken the game in an unintended direction and once has grown to every nation the mechanics of the game took a turn I don't think you can turn back from. There are clans big enough if all of them have alts could pretty much have a large impact on the game if they so desired. Think LV getting sorry a few months to do it more than they did with the new proposed mechanic not a good thought. Seeing lots of veteran player now seal clubbing weaker nations a lot now more than before when it was deemed in sportsman like so the mindset of the game has changed a lot from honor and respect we started out with to I don't care if the guy just started today or not i'm gonna kill him to climb the leader board. (Actually saw that in global chat veteran guy was bragging about it ). Can't cap the amount of players in a clan you cant just have a clan based on rank in game so the idea of taxation company being formed by a rank limit isn't feasible either. Tried that on the flag buying had to attain a certain rank to buy it. With all the alts and there are prob more than ppl realize the idea of taxation of an area controlled by a clan as defined by the Devs to control and determine the taxation is going to be a nightmare given human feelings towards other nations and ppl. I can see multiple alts being bought to either control or counter this (Good cash influx for the Dev's no doubt) but what will it do for the game. I don't use alts but will have to. Imagine if all of HRE bought alts and infiltrated the Brits or Danes and the Brits or Danes could do nothing to counter 100 guys voting them down and controlling the taxation could be interesting yea ? Got to be a better solution than clans controlling the taxation maybe a council made up of the clans in the nation instead then it has half a chance to work.

So from what I see so far once again your trying to get ppl to pvp by trying to open up company within a nation verses company in same nation to fight each other as another option? Super nations with player base will repress smaller factions , nations through taxation and if you don't like that nation tax it hard ? Well organized nations able to basically run over fractured ones you figure they will work together ? Doubt it history has shown in this game they will either Quit. or move to another stronger nation as gameplay will be way too grind intensive or hopeless. Just finally get it over with split the map in the middle and have it east v west or North v South countries , direction it is heading. Your not in a strong nation, the stronger nation and clans are gonna take till it hurts and tax the max allowed to keep you repressed. Going to be a go big or go home style Only thing going to be missing now is religion. Got the death and taxes part coming now lol. Now can make use of pray button I guess lol. You want hard core grinder types only to play the game direction it is headed.

Your the one pushing the war to the point of crying to other nations for help, your the one that ran from the Swedish Nation and then rallies to attack it so do not ever speak of honor traitor. Yea I do believe it because I have been there to see it. I have a lot of hours testing this game all for Sweden ,no alts , no jumping nations, no running from tough times to other Nations been here since Right after Trials. I don't write very much on here but when I do I write what I believe to be true be it right or wrong in others eyes lol..

Step back and re-evaluate what your doing you guys chose to made a decision don't make excuses sail and fight. Sweden has been taken to 1-2 ports we are still here, still having fun LEARNING from our mistakes. You came to our waters thinking no one was home and found a pit bull waiting for you another mistake you made . Sweden's core has been here pretty much since first wipe after Trials. I remember the Dev's actually thinking of consolidating the Danes with us so we could survive but We didn't jump from nation to nation looking for an easy ride we stuck it out through the good and the horrible the other nations tried to inflect on us and now you cry like children the minute we figured out what all your nations can't do.. We found a way to work together even with differences in opinion. I find it repulsive players here who laughed in gee how they use to gank us 10-20-1 or 2 for the first open worlds and wipes now take great indignation the Swedes gank them now. We learned from you well we took what you taught us and turned it against you, live with it enjoy it.. Hypocrites' always cry the loudest when their fun gets spoiled it is so hilarious the former high level gankers of the Swedes get a taste of their teachings. You took on the Swedish coast guard not the pb fleet today you came to our waters we didn't go to yours , you thought we were not home you got a surprise. Graf you should of all ppl know Sweden is not just Sveno so give up on that notion We all together are the Swedish Nation not just one man . He tries to abide by what we the players of Sweden and the council ask of him and he does it to the loss of great personal time spent so if the other nations had ppl like him wiling to sacrifice so much person time trying to deal with egotistical people this would be a very interesting game to test indeed. Take a game and make it personal it ceases to be a game it turns into a compensation for short comings and ugly. Keep you analogies of world wars out of this game no place for that crap here if you have issues with what happened deal with it elsewhere NOT here. Thank you. That the Dev's threw you a curve ball with the Victory marks that was them not Sweden so your greed got set on fire deal with the ones that implemented it and blame no one. That is really what all this is about nothing else so stop pretending anything else.

We should let them have their way and move out of the north they don't need us apparently as a buffer on the pirates so lets go. Let the great Spanish defectors to the Danes deal with the onslaught of pirates that will come rolling around Jeremie when they rebuild as there will be no longer pressure from us and just sit back and watch the Dane nation argue about who is at fault for it happening. Player shows no loyalty to a Nation they were in think they will be loyal to yours when shit hits fan. GL with that. LV is no longer there calling the shots and holding back the pirates , guys that run it now are different they rebuild unchecked Danes will be first hit hard your the closest "Large" enemy. And they will have all the ports back close to their capital. Wish you luck your going to need it.

Well I guess the thought to this could be the option to move out of the area and let the pirates build to a point they wipe Britain , Spain and the Danes off the map. I don't think they stopped to think for one minute the long term consequences of doing this. Pirates have restructured, Spain is more in the area lately as the Brits , maybe the back door to the Dane nation needs to be opened freely to other Nation to walk right in and see what the correct action should of been. For the want of points think for one minute what will happen if no Swedes were there holding back the pirates to a manageable level, History over the last 3 wipes should of shown they will run wild in your back yard and nothing you can do to stop them depleting your resources fighting on 3 fronts. Interesting choice hope it doesn't bite you in the stern. Just an out loud thought on my part.

Happens every time in all nations your not immune to it. You made a mistake from start with bad tag, Made it worse by distancing yourself from your shipmates and instead of breaking off and resetting was a no win situation for you or your team mates. Heat of the moment with your decision to continue at all costs and , and please no offence, your bad manual sailing made you very easy target. Next time don't stay in cannon view when your getting cornered like that. Guy that left be it right or and I agree wrong was indeed correct at the start it was a bad decision. Sometimes the kill at all costs indeed do cost. Learn the lesson and improve. Better luck and if you find the solution to guys leaving battles let me know cost me 2 duras first day I had my Cecilia a few months ago

Couldn't get it done as a pirate so goes to the biggest Nation in the game LMAO. I actually feel sorry for the Brits. I give it 2 months or way less till you turn this British Nation clan into what you turned the sorry clan into dysfunctional and laughed at by all. Wait hold on a second. 1 : You use an alt to rob another nation of their supplies at a rate greater than using the game mechanic intended (Smuggler flag) with no chance that nation can stop you. 2 : You probably sell those goods to your nation at a profit 3 : They use those goods to build ships 4 : They probably use those ships to sink players from the Nation you used the alt to steal from. 5 : Not every alt is used for nefarious reasons is incorrect in fact back in the day probably a hanging offence ,sounds like a pirate mechanic to me. See can be looked at as a sort of cheat also so can go both ways especially if multiple players are doing it to a very small nation and robbing it to the point that nation hasn't the resources or parts to sustain its own nation due to alt theft. Something to consider maybe ?

Well as usual when I pass another 1000 milestone I officially hit 4000 hours yesterday .. Maybe that's why the forum crashed lol. Next up ,race to 5000 hours testing.

I think he means trading flag closer to target port takes away the long sail and hour time limitation to plant it ? Ports that were out of reach because of the hour timer suddenly became reachable because of this mechanic.
