  1. Nice work Liquicity, hilarious 1v3
  2. yes please, as a former Dutch player I would vote Global. Excellent opportunity for the dutch to make there nation great **again** We have many active dutch players involved in multiple nations across PvP1 and almost all are staying in global.
  3. The angle of the hull on the waterline, the rather business like stern, the plump bow =) EDIT: the keel looks off though from the image I posted, not sure.
  4. Great work! and interesting.. the hull looks british-built.. so my guess for a 36 gun 18pdr... HMS Amazon? EDIT: Ah darn, 40 guns
  5. nighflips blablabla.. see how you cope when the russians join the EU server. if they ever will of course.. You won't lose any sleep but still alot of undefended ports. Have fun bye
  6. Fine, we'll go back to 1812 on PvP1 probably. Will miss fighting you but if I read another reference to nightflips I ugh... we'll see your numbers returning to PvP1 in a month, if there are any of us left. Thanks for what you have done for all of us. Treason!
  7. So let me get this straight.. All of PvP2 is coming over to PVP1 (majority US), the euros are leaving and we can't balance the server out with switching nations?
  8. GG swedes at PdP, terrible port to take with good defending nowhere to go after 30 mins except to sink redii, but that didnt work out either
  9. Fantastic organisation on both sides yesterday evening.. Any video from Ponce?
  10. Well, with 7UP going to US, that might be not such a bad idea actually.. God help us when PERVS steps up..
  11. Still feel happy about that one. Wind was good but that place is so narrow.. hard to stay within reach of some sort of system but leadership and general awareness was excellent. GG!
  12. Really? I used to have these discussions 20 years ago on Unreal Tournament... Person 1: I am 1337, i have skill.. Person2: No way man I am 1337, I have way more skill than you do... Person 3: etc etc That wasn't the point at all. Screening is fun: ask people in your nation to do the same even if you don't enjoy it personally: more people, more game. I trust diplo will sort out the night-flipping, the rest are just non/minor issues imo tbh.
  13. OK guys, perhaps it's a good idea to get back on topic. Fact of the matter is that the game is on the up. Thanks to excellent coordination on the brit-dutch-US side the last couple of weeks lots of good things are happening for us, and I believe the other alliance should step up to meet the challenge (which I'm sure they are capable of). If not, perhaps you should start to restructure, similar to what I believe happened in our nation some time ago. Also personally, I love the PB timer, as it allows a player like me (and many others) with a busy RL to plan ahead to be part of either screening or PBs. And let's not blame screening, it's a great chance for a much bigger population to be part of these events. Screening for Castries this week for instance was probably as much a blast for the swedes and french as it was for us. Timezones: insolvable until more players join from the american continents on different sides of the alliance as e.g. a midweek truce would ruin the experience for current american players more or less. I mean it is as annoying having to wake up at 4AM as it is to miss a PB because you're at work. PS The US port attacks were simultaneous because people know how hard it is to win from the danes, and our alliance was a bit lucky capturing both, as santo domingo wasn't a primary target at all as far as I understand. Its as much a compliment as it was a tactical move from my perspective. Keep it cool
  14. Fantastic post. IF (and I hope so) this will be the Dutch 1st rate, it will be very interesting to see how the announced leeway implementation will affect this ship sailing hull-down.
  15. As a relative newcommer to this game (only 90 hours so far), I am completely fine with all the features that are in the game right now, totally worth the money I spent buying it. I can understand the "critisism" for long time alpha-players but for a word of encouragement, the reason I believe people are so anxious has to do with this game having so much potential. It's quite excellent now and it keeps you begging for more intecracy in terms of gameplay. Games are never "done", our job is to be patient and make good suggestions. Keep up the good work!
  16. Not a single change that I don't like. Guess I need to reserve a couple of weeks this month to find the Indefatigable (yes, yes, yes)
  17. Sounds terrific : ) Agreed, or even better, the "appropriate number of cannon shot" and the possibility to demand satisfaction when not done properly : )
