  1. I didn't mind the teleport Cool down either when there was significantly more people playing. Taint the case anymore. Before the no cool down I advocated for a 1 hour cool down and like most thing the devs do its extreme or not at all.
  2. While I'm fine with the bottles the way they are, I'm curious what you consider core gameplay
  3. The problem will be solved because they're only be about 100 people left.
  4. No, it then becomes a level playing field again for a time. Alot of us assumed they would wipe servers before a merge (ports, assets) instead of asset transfer but who knows at this point. I'm starting to think they might wait till all the servers are merged (pve in Pacific separated ect.) But who knows I've been wrong more then right as far as their decisions are concerned.
  5. I'm not getting involved in this argument anymore and have just decided to vote with my time. I log into craft and I log off. Stop dangling this carrot and allow us to move assets. It's been months.

  8. I actually enjoy the boarding aspect. It MEANS something to take another's ship as a prize. Not to mention you completely nerf your ships reload/sail/repair capability when you are board fit. Takes alot of juggling. And as someone's pointed out you can usually figure out soon enough which opponents are looking to board. Those are the ones you shoot for leaks cause there goes they're combat effectiveness. Although it seems to me chain is still OP. One decent stern pass with chain can devastate sails.
  9. Was playing USA pvp2 and had driven the pirates back to mort. Bahamas were ours. We even had Islet. Most pirates quit or went pvp1 after that so 8-10 of us joined pirates (BP's being the biggest motivator) to find some fights. Then the biggest clans left (SOL&SOB) and we've been floundering ever since with the exception of a few decent nights.
  10. I think it used to be 5 minutes? People were complaining so they dropped it. Personally I've advocated for no timers. Anything that restricts entering battle isn't good imo,

As it is we'll be waiting till august at best for any meaningful resurgence in population. I have no doubt we'll get a few short lived bumps with the monthly patches but I doubt they'll last long as the last few haven't done anything on that count.
  12. 68 people on at primetime when I logged on pvp2 last night and it's just a continuation of a trend. I would imagine most were pveing, staring at port screen while trolling chat or taking empty ports. Once they rework port battles, rvr, and diplomacy it maybe port flags, server time, and port windows are a moot point. Hopefully.

  15. We've discussed this at great lengths in our clan on pvp2. What we think is going to happen is a merge will only happen when they do a port and asset wipe. And if that's the case why bother since people can just start a new character on pvp1. So now my clan mates who were most active only log on to use up crafting hours (at best). They didn't fancy starting over with no assets or BP's at the present time.
  16. Same thing thats happens on the PVP servers. The player being attacked sends a distress call in nation chat and a group forms and takes the vic away from the pirate. Or the pirate sinks his own ship on purpose. Although I don't advocate joining the pve server with pvp servers.
  17. I've brought this suggestion up to other people (rate limits on pb's) and they seen the same issue's as noted here. Hard to keep randoms out and screwing over a clan that organized the pb.
  18. I'm sure it's a running argument. There's a reason pirates havent done anything on pvp2 in awhile. Northern coast of Cuba and Haiti have rediculous timers. And then they took Gran Turk and set it to Aussie timer. It's helped devastate the population.
  19. PvP 2 is a shell of its former self. Haven't seen it break 250+ in awhile. Doesn't help that the Brits/USA are still in the yucatan/South America. Wipe and merge.

  21. Open pvp with no BR restrictions. I'm also in favor of a longer timer. Maybe not 5 minutes but longer than 2 minutes.
  22. Get rid of the BR restrictive nonsense. This game is already a huge time sink without waiting around a battle you can't get into.
