Most socialist cant tell the difference between capitalism and stupidity or ignorance. Who knows the reason for the high price. You dont for sure but maybe the crafter does. Perhaps its one of his first attemptz at a sale and just experimental or perhaps like me he uses the shil sale screen for storage and puts his ships for sale knowing they wont sell amd will be held for him, or perhaps he just hates the people who use that port and figures he will exploit them if they must have a ship. But yes yets blame capitalism.

Pirates probably had a much better communication network and fast coms compared to any national exept maybe the US. England had to get and recieve orders from a month away and so did the rest of Europeans and even direct orders from island to island was probably a fluster cluck of papers orders , codes and securty drills to get from one place to another while pirates said hey lets get that ship that just left port...arrrrrr.

I would be happy with this since my little squad ow pvps all the time and almost always we atrack MUCH bigger prey.

5 minutes was way to long 2 minutes is livable but seems short....maybe 2.5 or 3 ?

I was at first ok with the idea of the merger but now after our population has gotten to were its at NA has become better and probably a bit more realistic. I also like the players on my server and we have built an acually community between all of us. New players comming in quickly figure it out and the population is growing slowly so now im more for keeping the servers seperate.

Ive noticed since the great hype flight of worried players to pvp1 our population has stabilized and is starting to creep back up. The last couple times i played it was close to 300 before primetime. I think our population dispersion is pretty even now between the primary factions. I see a good number of French ,British, and US players with a decent mix of pirates starting to spread out. Ive even done some paid privateer work for someone. Keep up the fight Bert.

Yeah I really hope our server stays. Not sure what servers will ever merge but this server is very fun now. Much more than it was before and i dont knownif its due to small size or that the people left are just more into the game or maybe we are the dumb ones who knows but its fun. My group operating does piracy and its so real now. We skim around islands looking for ships large and small to swarm asap and capture or sink. Soooo much fun. I hope admin see we are still loving pvp2 and that in tje future it will be needed anyways fkr new players. A few of us have been putting the word out constantly to save or server and bring in some more players.

Honestly this is such a niche game that 5% is so bad to take as a win and if they can get even 1000 more total customers who stay that would be 2 heathy servers. Its very clear tobme from reading the forumsbover the last few months that most players who quit didnt watch twitch streamers or watch youtube video or read alot about what this game was going to acually be instead of what they thought. I think 5000 total players would be great for this game.

I surely hope they can either increase the cap or keep another server. I most definitely hope more than 5% return. Its hard for me to put stock in numbers untill its a full game and has some sort of advertising, even on you tube etc.If your numbers will hold up then that is a scary thought because i think this game is already good and will be better but its gonna have to find a way to get the word out to niche players like us. Edit..just seen your edit. So with those peak numbers there isnt even enough room for everyone from both servers. That will not go well to que up....i acually quit the last game i played and really like because i cant spend 5 or 10 minutes just to get in every day.

Yes what will happen if this does go live someday and advertise? Will they have to reopen a pvp2 ? There will always be more European /russian players because there population is huge but with a possible influx of North and South American and asia pacific players looming then a US server will be pretty important again.

Dont attack me please. If you read what ive said about ME swapping it will be with the merger or when forced. I dont " lash out" at someone with different opinions i simple state mine and stand by that. If thats to harsh for someone then tjat would be thier problem i think. Thanks. I wasnt trying to insult your idea and sorry if it came off that way. The idea of a bonus is good in theory but in practice it will only encourage even more server swaps back and forth to whatever one is giving the bonus. There realy isnt a way to stop it short of locking servers ( bad idea) unless we get people to stop comming on the forums and promising free ships and gold to swap servers. There are lots of posts of people offering everything you need to start over and now ive even seem them in chat a few times asking clans to swap for free stuff. People will be people and nothing will stop try hards or inexperienced mmo players from taking the easy path. My idea is like old school server swaps , you have to petition the admins with a good reason and they decide OR better yet a pen2for swaping servers or nations. Naybe 25% xp penalties the first time then it goes up by 10% each swap. But like i said the best way to grow pvp2 is gor people to stop having kneejerk reactions or going to the promise of free stuff. The population has been over 300 the last to days i played so just stop the poaching and it will grow with new players.

Im in love with Anne Bonny. Her and Rackem where my favorite real pirates ( poor jack didnt last long) and they are my favorite in the series and Anne is by far the slankiest hottest bad ass bitch there is.....Max and that bad either.

If there are 0 penalties for swapping servers ir faction and there was a gold and xp bonus for playing on the low population server then try hards ( just like now) would just swap between servers all day to which ever gave them the most xp till they reached max level then they would pick a server to stay on. In my experience every game that gave a welfare bonus just created new problems. The best solution is your first idea. Penalty for swaping.

I would be all for the penalty idea but would never support any bonuses, unless you want a bigger mess of swaping then you have now

If they are going to only merge those two and leqve pvp2 a stand alone server ( which makes sence for asia pacific and western south americans ) then we need to send out a SOS save our server! Try and get some people back and keep them from being poached. The way our tiny server has worked out a way for still being fun i thibn even 4 or 500 would be great fun. Heck ww could all sit down and make some ground rules for our own little server.
