  1. Did the developers say what this so called "hotfix" looks like?
  2. What do you mean it does not guarantee even BR? In the case above (250vs250br) there is no space left for anyone to join, battle is closed instantly when signaling is active.
  3. You know that the signaling perk works in the event area right? I always used it to get nice 1v1 without interruption.
  4. Bring back old flag system with port timers combine them with raids, port battles fixed. Implement new open world content and mechanics to bring players back to the sea, open world pvp fixed.

  6. On top what Snoopy said there are also the open world AI fleets. There is just to many of them, they are to close together and to big in general (like 15 1st rates+++). So if you finally find someone sailing on the open world without player AI fleet, there is a good chance he is in range of a open world AI fleet. You spend hours of searching just to run away from AI and one shittalking player who tells you to come back and fight him and the 15 bot ships you sucked in. 90% of the playing time in Naval Action is forced PvE, 9% port battle BS and 1% real PvP.
  7. Don't blame the US playerbase for playing the game the dev's can't fix for almost over 4 month now. Not gonna start talking about broken ow pvp here, that's even longer broken. Please dev's stop testing on the testbed server with 3 players online and switch back to the normal servers.
  8. Well that is the whole problem we have right now. You are sitting in port waiting, doing nothing. You are supposed to sail the seas with your friends, hunting and looking for fights. SAIL be free
  9. Exactly, reduce forts to county capitals and reduce the amount of ai fleets. Also ai fleets should never exceed 1000 BR. Right now any coast in the game is a damn save zone and you have no chance to engage anyone if he does not want to. The game is broken at the moment. At least for me because i'm a pure pvp player and not doing any rvr. Best way to resurrect ow pvp would be to revive capitals. In the past the capitals were the nr.1 spot for pvp. We could add a mechanic to give the capital county a loot increase drop for defenders to encourage players to defend their home waters. We could call it coast guard area or something like that. There are so many ways to get people back on the open world, we just have to implement good mechanics. Hostility generation needs to get more pvp focused. Add capture circles along the coast. Now players have to stay in this circles to increase hostility and not hide in pve missions. Frigates should generate hostility faster then SOL's to prevent the use of SOL dread fleets in the cap circles. Raids was one of my big hopes to get more pvp again but it looks like it's going to be another pve mechanic. Let's test it first, when it's finally implemented...I know soon™
  10. I see a problem in bigger clans or groups just bringing 1st rates and steamroll port after port. There is just no reason to bring a mix of ships because there is no downside in big lineships. We really need a shallow system in the game. I can't be the only one who bothers this "bring the biggest ship and we win" situation we have.
  11. PvP server needs much less AI. We already have forts and towers, there really is no need for such massive ai fleets.
  12. The permanent upgrades should stay. For the normal slots I always use green upgrades on boarded ships.
  13. I think your 3rd circle is way to big. But yea the AI thing is a real problem that need to get addressed.

  15. I'm still surprised how much you guys care about some colored pixels on a map. Maybe it's the best for you all if you get reduced to one region and see that there is still other stuff to do in this amazing game. Still hoping port raids will bring back pvp/ow pvp. Please devs don't fu#k this up. So gents hit Sail more often step away from rvr and relax a bit, we are testing after all and nothing is final. Smash that sail button!

  17. Costed 120£mil to build, was 1 year in service and later sold for 25£. Worth it.
  18. Signaling is active when- player who tags has the signaling perk, or player who got tagged has the signaling perk. If your BR doesn't exceed the enemy's BR you can enter the battle on friendly side. If your BR is to high you cannot enter. For example, you are in a Surprise (140BR) and attack a Constitution (250BR). So the biggest ship that can join is a Renommee (110BR), everything bigger can't join because it would be over 250BR. AI can join if they are in Player fleet but there has to be enough room for them to join otherwise the player and his fleet cannot join. I still don't know how long the battles stay open, i heard something about 20 minutes but i'm not sure about that.
  19. No but seriously, a new Connie model + a Dutch, Dane or Swedish ship pack would be more reasonable. Maybe even a Bavarian ship pack I think we have access to an ocean somewhere.
  20. Name me a Age of Sail game that comes close to the quality of Naval Action. The combat is amazing, we have a really nice ship variety and it looks gorgeous. Tweaking needs to be done in this stage of development. But for an alpha it's one hell of a game.

  22. I'm not into star citizen, was just thinking about it because i heard some ships in there costs up to 100$? Agh forget it, my bad. But i still don't see a problem with the kickstarter and how it offends you. We already have more ships than we were promised. I'm willing to pay for new ships to be added. Still better then a monthly subscription.
  23. Well, it's going to be a completely new model. Not a new skin like they did for the Bellona or Victory.
