  6. was already proposed by me long time ago during the discussion about 1 or 3 or 5 durability of ships, page 8 and here, page 2 we were also talking about something else but i proposed this mechanic that would have solved even the abuse of ALT acc slots
  7. use actual AI to transfer gold of player. ex: pvp at La Tortue and want to transfer my gold to KPR, i can choose between doing it by myself or by ''AI button''...maybe i can decide if send my gold in a single ship in only 1 trip or maybe 3 trips. so an AI trader leave from La T and travel with my gold to KPR but no one can understand if it is a simple trader or a trader with my gold inside, so other players have a new gameplay as hitting AI traders and not only AI battle fleet. every nation will have player PVE oriented that can become finally a threat for PVP player who wants to send their gold by AI traders cause they havn't time or enought ship hold to transfer everything by themselves. this can be also a good mechanic to buy in other ports some res and transfer them back to homeland. i can travel with my LGV with gold inside to buy cartaghena, buy cartaghena and travel back with carta in the hold or....i can travel with my cutter in a port selling cartaghena, put a contract and an AI trader automatically leave my gold-deposit-OP with the correct amount of gold of the contract, travelling until the port with contract, fulfill the contract and sail back with amount of resource. again PVE players can intercept other players trade routes, more patrol then, more PVP, more interaction.

  9. nope, those upgrades are destroying the game. the best player is the best gear not the best ''skilled''. i must be the best in manual sail, aiming, firing in time, sailing to catch the best wind angle...putting so many upgrades on my ship make my skill useless... why i have to improve myself if its enought put copper, ship handling, crooked and many other upg to escape and run safe? no skill, just gear...the einner is only who has more time to spend on game or multiple account to farm more resources for more upgrades if you look at Legends, the skilled or top player on open world dies a lot...there is no chance for them anymore

  11. remove all upgrades and resuscitating crew ability, only wood can give speed/thick bonus: fir speed - LO tank. stop - player must win with skill, not gear... only 1 tank upgrd like cartagena but with speed penalty, only marines ,no masts upgades NO SPEED UPGRADES (i must to be clear on this, also copper plating...nothing!): vanilla LO ship will be the best choice for tank, fir ship for speed. other upgrades can survive, like aim upgr or accuracy ones cause they don't have a big impact on player skills. storm minigame : hurricane istance as Age of Pirates - storm battle (with and withoud fog) - storm seasons (1 game week with bad weather in half or all the map...reduced visibility, increased numbers of ''hurricane istance'' not necessairly with hurricane always...just ''heavy wind istance'' in random areas during this week). during this storm week you can find random wrecks near coast exploration by treasure hunt: find bottles with clues starting a quest for something valuable, maybe 1 clue say to you to go to an anemy port with smuggler flag and search for other news regarding this quest (like Potbs but without 1st person game, just a virtual ''tavern'' where you can find ''news of the region'' (middle caribbean, east caribbean, west an so on...)) only 1 hull rep and 1 sail rep for battle, no crew rep during battle but only out of battle and not for all but just wounded...deads are dead, you must go in a port to hire new crew. pls add ideas, thanks
  12. not only in pvp. you Devs made 1 big mistake...ALT account. all player with ALT account exploited some mechanics and abused them to reach the top or have some advantage to use against noobs or lower level (not skilled...but level) player. on Global, in the last 2 weeks 5 new player left the game cause they can't buy any ship more cause Vets Hardcore Rat ganked them every day out of Charlestown for 2-3 hours killing all their assets...that cause they were vet player! yeah!! very wise... look also to the fact that the biggest number of player with ALT acc are rats and they have also a cheating feature like outlaw battle where they can hide an entire attacking fleet (see Tribunal) but they are considered still a nation so they can also cap ports...and they use those advantage to bullying newcomers...this is your fault Devs, you let it happen cause you want money, immediately...so you allowed buying multiple copy of the game as a Premium Shop feature. but now, how much money are you losing due to lack of player and good rewiew on steam by new and old players?new player buy the game but can't play cause there are less than 60 player on global and only a little more on EU, and those are Hardcore player that goes everywere searching for a fight because they must fight fight fight...kill kill kill... and the noob, without tutorial, without money, without skill, without knowledge is killed 4-5 times every day from those hardcore palyer until they are messed up and left game... so now you don't know how to escape from your mistake, and decide to create a new game as a trap to catch all Hardcore player from open world to Legends...good luck, but you will fail because all vets from both Servers ( that are actually the only player online) will transfer to legends killing naval action. i can give you the solution but wold you like to listen? it will cost you a war with all player that bought multiple copy on the game, but in long terms...you will rise again to 2k player on EU and 5-600 on global as 1.5 year ago selling more copies and having the queue to enter on EU... the solution is to listen to hardcore player and do the opposite. the death of all MMO is hardcore elite club player. always. MMO are made for 99,9% from noobs or easygoing player the come back home from job and want to relax and maybe 0,1% of hardcore. real hardcore players go to arena mode games like CS:GO and so on...if you want to create a very good MMO you have to think how broke legs to hardcore players and force them to play slow and only with skill...no magic or exploit or ''Master Degree in Perks Management and Module Applications'' of Harvard...MMO must be noobs-friendly not harcore-slave. now solution...in that order: 1) removes all perks, books and module, marks - good PVP come only from skill not cheat 2) re-introduce forest of all wood of the game and coal for all nations - good PVP come from skill not wood...noob and vet can fight with same fir surprise, winner is the best skilled player (if vet does a single wrong turn, or other mistake, he can be killed as a simple noob...actually, a vet with all LO/WO and modules can be shot by a noob without opening fire cause the noob cannot penetrate enought...so, same ship , no modules and only skill...good PVP). 3) reintroduce Bot attaking player in national waters - you cannot go behind enemy lines so easily without risking nothing, put an OP near a capital and destroy player noob base. 3a) remove Free Town - no one can build and OP behind enemy lines, attackers must fight at frontlines conquering one port at time till the capital regions, they must sweat 4) introduce a rank protection - until you reach a certain level you cannot be attaked by vets player (rookie regions were a good solution mode)...lets noobs feel secure to develop a little till having more ships to go to PVP if they sink. 5) remove capturable AI...maybe only trader ship, but no fifth or sixth rate...let noobs can cap trader to make money to buy crafted or store ship 6) make top rank player life HARD to mantain and new player life EASY - now, top rank have boring gameplay cause they have everything, ships, infinite money, and goes in search of someone to kill cause they are bored and don't risk nothing...noobs are something like slave in 1700. so, introduce assets tax...if you want to expand too much and be a TOP rank (the last 3 one maybe or more if you like), you have to pay an everyday-tax...more you have, more you pay...so you now risk something and you aren't anymore bored cause you have to sweat to mantain your way of life. everyone soon or later reach Rear Ad level so everyone soon or later have to mainatin theiR assets with a tax for every single ship they have (forcing to break-up, or selling or sink ships cause they will drain all your money every day), for every OP (reduce cost to open an OP if you introduce this solution). i don't consider building cause they are only 5 so they don't weigh on bank account. 7) lock number of ships for each account - each account can have max only 1 1st rate, 1 2nd rate, 2 3rd rate, 3 4th rate, 4 5th rate, and infinite lower rate ships...if a player has already a 1st rate and in PVP he board an enemy 1st rate he must choose change ship or sink...he will never ever have more than 1 single 1st rate...if he want to change his Santi for an Ocean he must sell Santi or break-up to free the '1st rate slot' of his account...this will finally reduce the presence of 1st rate in OW or PB or in already top leveled player...even if they have ALT acc, they can stack only 2 1st rate ecc ecc...actually Jobaset has 4-5 Aggy in one account and another 2-3 on his second account Wish List...both rat, oviusly...so he will never ever risk nothing if he lost a couple in battle...so he has no fun and he become a Vet Bored Player going killing noob just to do something... Jobaset i'm saving you...:) 8) improve coastal defences range and damage, they must cover 1 or 2 circle of 3...and the range of mortar brig must be lower or the same as the Fort...no more safe sniping from distance...if you want a port you must sweat, more skill to protect mortar brigs with bigger ships or shooting to fort all together before the fort kill all attaking fleet...more skill, more planning, more tactics, more challenge to fight both players and forts...good PVP and RVR. 9) i read somewhere a good proposal by a player to change PB from 25 slots to BR limit...the lower ship that can enter in a deep water PB is Cerb ( but we cant consider maybe surprise), so the max points of BR to fight a deep water PB are [BR cerb * 25 slots]...i don't remember if cerb is 100 br but if it is, the max BR is 100 * 25 = 2500, so you can chose if fight with 25 cerb or 4 santi and a lifeboat...more tactics, more planning, more skill, more good PVP, more RVR 10) create an ingame tutorial all these suggestions must be introduced in the game as it is now...don't remove nothing else, as you do always...we are here to test as you said. do it
  13. nope. if you removes freeport noone can open an OP behind enemy lines so the area of PVP is the frontline where 2 nations are next other by 1 port
  14. remove freeports...not only TP. actual game mechanic lets vets player open an op in enemy homeland killing everyone expecially newbs because they don't know how defend themselves. so newbs will lose their few money/single ship, once, twice...third time they left game. again server pop goes 100 players only. let nations be able to grow up their player, and PVP on frontlines maybe introduce a ''rest in port'' cooldown: when a player goes in enemy waters like now, he can kill how many people he wants until he goes back in 1 port for repair. entering enemy port starts a cooldown of 1 hour where he can enter how many times he likes for repair/sell/trade, once timer expired he cannot enter anymore for 24hours...so if he needs to repair he musts go back to homeland
  15. so no one can defeat him, because he can build infinite ships inside enemy's land because freeport cannot be conquered. so newbs will die all cause they aren't skilled but starting in their home area to learn and develop they will be destroyed by your friend with infinite ships...so they quit and server become empty again, but full of SOL or full of few player with infinite ships and the rest that are not able to defend from them... it doesn't look a mechanic so good as you want we believe. @admin i'm still waiting your opinion on my mechanic
  16. yes Spain and Gb starts with all, but do they have enough player to hold those regions? Vltra has 100 players but are they able to defend everywhere?in PB is near Willemstad another at panama and a third in mexico...how can they defend at same time? sweden D-N and france must make a strategic alliance or wipe each other to take all east area and the expand to west. WRONG. the nation with more skill can maintain more regions, not more numbers. on PVP 2 , 20 rats reduced USA to 11 ports from more than 100 and USA had 110-120 players...but it's correct, more time and more expansion and harder will become to maintain...do you want such a vantage like a SOL?...you have to sweat always not only to reach the Permit and BP. with current system, bigger number nations will become stronger and stronger in time becoming unbeatable due to their stack of CM due to number of PB they can do just because they are many. with the current system, if a nation has 30 player and only 10 of them want to do SOL they will never craft it because they aren't able to participate to any PB. with my system, even small nation with few player can take a single port stopping production of SOL of the biggest nation reducing it to 39 regions... bigger nation can be attaked by everyone from everywhere just to stop their production not for stacking CM...to stack CM i just need to take 1-2 port on the far east and wait till i have correct number then buy Bp and produce SOL SOL SOL...nothing can stop me... again server will be full of SOL. remember the aim of devs is to reduce number of SOLs. Vltra could make the hard work for everyone but is not mandatory to every player to produce SOL. their clan has 100 player organized for producing SOL so nothing will change for them, they have resources but players not interested in RvR don't...so all receive the ability to produce SOL but not all have resources to do... receiving the chance to do, does not mean you can do. number of region is an example...it can be 40 as 30 as 200...it'd just to make some numbers

  18. producing resources for 1 SOL isn't hard...it requires only to wait for LH...i'm not talking to have a SOL on day 1 but a single ACC-player can have a SOL after maybe 2 months and a multi-ACC in 3 weeks... just grind money sinking AI or player, give gold to 2nd acc , use 2nd acc LH to produce res, go to 3rd acc, use 3rd acc LH, collect resources with 1st acc and use 1st acc LH to craft the ship. there are player with 8-10 alt account i heard... i know this is a problem from the beginnig but this answer is not a justification to let those things go on...
  19. just make a second steam account, buy another copy of the game a run both at same time. with 1 acc you go to where the 2nd acc character is and make the exchange. farming resources take i mouse slide and 1 mouse click....if you play 3 hours, you can fight for 2.59 hours then give all to ALT acc and in 1 minute you farm what you need. now think to the time a single ACC player have to spend to produce 1 SOL and think on how much time a multi-ACC player needs...if you are good at math, you surely understand that alt acc is a break-game mechanic
  20. you are right but this isn't POTBS this is naval action and here it was not allowed. on POTBS there is a premium shop, here not. game is broken already because with alt you can take advantage on single acc palyer taking all their nation regions. if you are a rat and your nations is reduced to 1 region, you can still produce ships with the other nation ACC so you aren't a premium player but a GOD MODE PLAYER. look at now...after 3 weeks from wipe, same people of same nation that we all know having more than a single ALT ACC have already a lot of SOL ALT acc system break this game because let you become invicible, whatever other players do to you.
  21. with my Rat account i grind AI or pvp making gold, then go with a trade ship in a GB port and give all my money to my ALT acc and taking back CM from GB alt account. with the money i craft resources from my GB acc, the i put those resources on shop at cost of 1 gold each and i buy back with my Rat account... the time you spend farming AI or players with Rat account, gives time to GB account to recharge its LH... 1 acc feeds the other. so again...what do you find wrong on what i exposed?
  22. @admin 1-WRONG. you need ALT acc because you can participate in ALT nation taking CM from that nation and giving them to the first account. (i'm rat, i have BRIT alt, i take part in a brit PB, win, then give daily my BRIT pension to my RAT account---exploit) 2-WRONG. single player, with 1 ALT, can produce everything for a SOL because he has 10 building slots, double LH, and you devs reduced the diversity of resources needed to produce ships...just introduced the useless marks mechanic, exploited on point 1. actually you need iron( gives stone, gold, silve, coal), stone (gives iron, gold, silver, coal) , fir (gives compass), hemp, oak (gives compass), coal, lignum. total 7 resources you can produce and you have 3 free slots wher you can also build Workshop and Shipyard...and 1 slot can be free!!!!! other resources you must collect but are only woods. those are numbers for 1 single player with 1 single ALT acc...and we all know there are lots of player with 3-4 ALT ACC...using them. 3- WRONG. you created Open World where every nation can produce ALL NEEDED RESOURCES in 3-4 ports (not region) near to capital...to allow everyone the chance to build at least 1 ship... so all player can trade near Capital and noone can rob them due to little time a player can go from a port to the nearest. @admin what do you think of my gameplay mechanic?
