  1. @Sir Texas Sir wrong. make an example: Us starts with 3 region, 1 is capital so start talking about 2 regions. US take 1 region, san sebastian, so 25 players have 1 CM/ or single player can collect 25 CM every day from the other 24 player who won the PB. so also small nation can collect enough CM to produce SOL but big nation, actually, can be boosted too much than this small nation...to many CM/day for too many players cause GB has 120 player fro ex... actually, bigger numbers destroy smaller numbers with my mechanic, small nation can stop bigger nation only taking 1 region...big nation will be stopped at 39 regions by even a 1 region nation. you can be big how you want but if you aren't able to defend 1 region you lose everything, it' doesn't care numbers. i can attack you at islamorada, morgan's bluff and a 3rd region...which do you defend? can you defend all 3 regions? are you able to finish 1 and have time to go to the 2nd one? if not, who is going to defend the other 2 regions? everybody in your nation must work but not all are skilled enought to win everything. and if you win, do you have all resources needed to produce SOL? enought LH? u can produce 1 SOL a day cause you finish you LH (without LC), and are you able to defend nex day another 3 regions defending your 40 CMARKS level? this will be a full new gameplay. actually you need just 1 or 2 region then just wait the pension...and infinite SOL again
  2. @Sir Texas Sir with my mechanic everyone will must do hard work. you can be 1 of the 25 that take a region but you cannot be at the same time in another PB wher you are defending nation and not the attakers. you Rat nation has 3 PB, 2 of them is attack 1 is defence...if you win the 2 you will be the nation with 40 regions and can produce Ocean but if the defending PB is lost, maybe 20 minutes after victory in 2 offence PB, you lost , as Rat nations, the ability to produce Ocean...so you can produce ocean only for 20 minutes...if you win all 3 PB you can produce Ocean until you lost 1 region, going back to 39 and ocean Bp lock all your players MUST attak and defend always or you all lose all.
  3. @The Red Duke we are saying same thing. you talk about 40 regions that gives owners 40 marks every day, so they can stack them...as now where there are nation with some players that already have multiple SOL after less than a month from wipe. i talk about unlocking marks, not giving them to players...my mechanics predic that no player ever gets a CM but there is something like a system of livels like for crafting ranks or navy ranks. ocean BP unlocks only when you , as a whole nation, have 40 regions, victory BP for 35 regions, aga for 15 regions and so on...if you , as a nation...if your nation controls only 39 regions it can't produce ocena but can victory and lower, if 34 regions only aga and lower...all permits has to be convertet in PVP marks with this mechanics... you can buy 4508934560828456'8923768'37'78'785690782568376452349057348965 ocean permits but if your nation has only 39 regions you can't produce nothing! if you are able to take 40 regions, you still need ocean permits (in pvpmarks), resources, guns and so on... now SOL will be a rare thing!!! so ALL player of that nations must play to expand their nation cause everybody will receive benefits and if they don't, noone can unlocks SOL BP. no daily pension, no more player with 45890358763878 CM and players with 0, no more spam of SOL in to the OW, no more AGA after 4 days from wipe (pvp EU). it will be really difficult have 40 regions because you can take 3 a day but lost 1 and need to be really organized to expand and defend at same time. future scenario will be bloody wars to stop nations each others from having 40 regions or less, bloody PVP on trade route cause if a nation reach 40 regions it maybe doesn't have enought resources to produce a single SOL, strategic alliances to stop the strongest nation expansion. no more unfair CM trades, no more exploit with alts to trade regions for CM (it's impossible take 40 regions using alts), no more loss of player on servers cause small amount of player have everything and kills who has nothing too frequently.
  4. can i have an answer please? for example: Ocean BP costs 40 CM. - each regiong gives 1 CM but not daily or pension or something similar...just unlock 1 CM for all NATION, es. Spain. spain must take 40 region to unlock 40 CM and unlock everything that costs 40 CM, Ocean BP for example. this BP cannot be learned but only unlocked for all Spain nation (players): that means that all players CAN produce Ocean, but doesn't mean that every player has needed resources...just they have the chance. stop. IF SPAIN LOST 1 REGION, going back to 39 regions, IT LOSTS THE ABILITY TO PRODUCE OCEAN! this mechanic lock CM to Nation, not to players! all players MUST contribute on taking regions and all players MUST defend their 40 regions because if they lost only 1, ALL NATION lost the ''OCEAN BP''. other nations has only to count enemy region on map, and decide to attack nations near their 40th region that can unlock Ocean and stop its expansion/development. this, is a PVP mechanic. not the actual time sinking mechanic. @admin this is my mechanic, tell me what is wrong please

  6. try this. each BP have to cost a little bit more. Aga BP is 10 cmarks, has to be 15- bellona and 3rd 15 to 20 , buc and pavel 25 to 35, vic 33 to 40 and ocean and santi 35 to 50. each BP is locked by an amont of CMARKS. each region give 1 mark or more ('vital regions' and simple regions). when the Nation conquer a sufficient number of regions/CMARKS, high rank BP is unloked for EACH PLAYER OF THAT NATION. (everyone can build cause everyone participate in expanding nation, non only the 25 of the PB but also crafters, screeners and farmers). if nation loses regions, it loses CMARKS and the BP become again locked, and no one can build anymore that ship. this mechanic brings to RvR to stop the production line of another nation and its expansion, forcing all palyer to defend their BP blocking the enemy's BP. change all permit costs from Cmarks to PVPmarks, the most difficult thing has to be unlocking the BP with conquest.
  7. last answer then we should talk elsewhere cause we are on ''tribunal''. pirate gameplay must be different by national gameplay. it have to be ''very hard'' and should not allow to build anithing, only cap by pvp...without ability to conquer ports but only to lose ports. it's a different gameplay! if you don't like the ''very hardcore gameplay'' don't choose pirate faction. actually you look like the stubborn child who wants everything and cry if mom doesn' t afford it. you cannot build 1st rate, you cannot build nothing, you can't take port but can only loose them, you can't cap nothing but palyer's ships...it's ''pirate gameplay'', or should it be is it too much hard for you? forged papers and come to a nation, stop asking national mechanics for pirate nation. until you get your own mechanics, play as a national! you can't correct a mistake with another mistake, so you cannot receive the same national mechanics just because you don't want to accept the actual situation.
  8. why you are always crying for pirate faction? no one said you to play as a pirate, and everyone is telling you that pirates don't have 1st rate or smaller high rates...but you choose pirate faction anyway! i don't want to insult you but this is a stupid choice. if you like to have 1st rate or more ships to build....play as a national...really simple. so why are you still complaining about your poor nation? change it! or you want to cry until u receive ''GOD mode Perk'' as a exlusive rat perk with all BP, best woods, full coal and gold ports? rat have only 5th rate, stop. do you want to play as a rat? only 5th rate. do you want to play as a national? also 1st rate. make your choice if u want to answer in historical way, i tell you that historically rats were using only trade ship, never build 1...just put guns on unarmed merchants. and stop using ALT to have things that other national player have playing correctly, stop being a child with his ''black flag'' crying because his big brother has a bigger one...
  9. the passage from Sea Trials to Open World. storm battles battle with introduction of land inside instance the time when there weren't fleets and repairs but only the player ship in battle (with stronger hull) being able to craft my personal ship alone without help my 1st 1st rate 1st rates battles being able to do everything, in an acceptable amount of time. (from crafting to battle, not only 1 of them)
  10. as always, u devs assume that after the wipe a lot of player will be back and fill servers... and if not? do u have a plan B? if PVP players don't want sail basic ships and want only crafted ones? and if there isn't enought crafters in all servers (very hard that each clan has a player that bought this game only to stay in port and craft everything)? and if crafters don't produce one of resources needed for crafting and NPC don't produce anymore...like stone?all crafting in all server will be lost, PVPers leave server cause they have to sail too much time to find someone (for example Willemstad or Charleston) or to find a ''trader'' and they haven't time due to job/family ec ecc? PVPers from now have to ask to crafters for everything, and if there ins't crafters because u destroyed crafting with this fool mechanic of ''time sinking'' instead of ''money sinking''? i gave you the solution (limit nuber of rates for each account, easy crafting) but you never answer so i assume you have a plan B. what is you plan B if everything goes away from your pattern?

  12. u talk as naval action is your life...on PVP2 naval action is still a game. during this months we played normally, anc conquered all ports that you can see now cause we were more than now. you say that only 3 of each nation become rats...maybe only 3 still playing with you now but we lost 2 entire clans, more or less 20-30 player. maybe they don't play anymore or play on pvp1. alt acc questions. me and you know that there are more alt in rat faction than in other nation...or i'm sure, in US nation. with 1 account, i need 1 week to craft a 1st rate and only because i have most of needed resources already...but i still have to craft all refinde parts, and then some of gold upgrade that means LH for crafting silver coins then 800 LH for each gold up for not less than 7 upgrades...and this only for 1 1st rate...quite 2 weeks for a ship. with a single alt acco, can use 2000 LH ( and more for perks) only for resources and refined parts, and others 2000 to craft a 1st rate...maybe no more than 1 week. and if u rats have more than 1 player with and alt? maybe 2. you 2 rats in 2 weeks can build 4 1st rate and i only 1... so here is the problem of the alt account. gold upgrades. no one mention duping sistem, i'm talking about the time before the last patch were all old players collected gold marines. you all have gold marines or purple or blue... the best i have, and i played on PVP2 from the release of OW of naval action, is 1 blue Marine module...1...many others US player collected gold ones, and after last patch left US faction for your's faction so our numbers of gold uncraftable upgrades were gone... rats 2 regions and 3-5 guys: if that is true, how can is possible u had resources to build a sufficient number of 1st rate and being able to cap 17 of ours if u had so small numbers? i suppose cause US clans left US faction for rat faction bringing their 1st rate...so having big army with small area to defend is the optimal situation for attak everywhere everyone...have also too many 1st rates that you gifted to newbe ar scrapped...still having numbers of 1st rate superior to your production capacity due to lack of rat controlled region. but with many alt account, yes it's possible. i've heard also there are players with 8 alt account but don't know who and where... during your last operation ''camel toe'' u where so strong that outside E coast u were ganking in 4-5 santi and victory our single connie or maybe a couple...ok the game allow that, but why don't u choose to fight quite same level? 2 connie?ok only 2 1st rates (it's still too much but it will be a challenging fight). and u said u are strong cause u FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT and FIGHT MORE...if u are so strong you don't need to gank, but i can see still ganking. most of problems on PVP2 about lack of population was because players didn't and still don't have chances to play a fair battle so they left the game...ganking bring us to 120 players max on servers, nothing more... soon we will have a ship wipe, do we want to start palying fairly and rebuild pop or no? 1 account, 1 ship without warfleet (just trading ship), 1 vs 1 or same numbers. best palce now on PVP2 were play Naval Action is Matanzas with spanish player...1 vs 1 or 2 vs 1...good play, no gank, mistakes, jokes and fun... you are living naval action as a work, in PVP2 is still a game...try PVP1
  13. sorry Tex but you said you have an alt acc and like you many others maybe have. so when you say you are only 15-20 you have to add also alt, cause with alt you have 4000 LH, 16 outpost, 10 silver mine even owning only 1 single silver port... remember also that all top level player of US and many of brit on PVP2 , changed to rats leaving for US only NPG and DD with few Rear Admiral. now we are still growing up new players, our screeners are captain or LT and yours are curse or demon, in battle we are 25 yes but we need to use frigs mixed to 1st rate cause we cant afford resources for all. we also have not all gold upgrades, sice numbers and quality of sealed bottle hase been reduced from last patch, and our gold modules owners were our top lev player,,,that passed rats... so it's easy for you decide to burn all east coast or whatever you want cause u are economically superior to rest of server players by numbers of resources and player. u are always 15-20 cause playing on PVP2 is easier than PVP1... so u want to burn PVP2 just to say ''we are the best''? ok...it's obvious
  14. without creating PVE areas, why don't let palyers if create a PVE or PVP account in the same server? players who wants to play pve style, can create a PVE account and use all the map without interaction with PVP players and viceversa. if PVE player wants to try pvp somethimes, he can buy a ''flag'' (a la POTBS) for a time (1 or 2 hours, 1 a day or more...idk) and try to do battle with other PVP players. PVE economy will be always separated from PVP economy, avoiding exploit or similar; the only interaction between PVE and PVP worlds will be battles (with ''flag'' mechanics).
  15. if you introduce 1 dura ship (i love) and limited ammo (i love less...very much less), you have to change actual situation. battle need to resolve in 2-3 broadsides with quite big crew losses and morale loss, also out of boarding mode. (2-3 crew shock, automatically surrend). so limited ammo has sense 1 dura ship ok, but reduce resources needed to craft and make hull little bit stronger ship bonus must have no malus like now. malus depends only on type of wood.
  16. limit 1 1st rate , 2 2nd rate, 3 3rd rate and 4 4th rate for each account and unlimited lower rates...easy and fast.
  17. if you want to reduce numbers of 1st rate, you must reintroduce 1 duration ships patch. actually if i have 1 OP i can fill it with 5 constitution (maybe gray), but they are actually 20 (5 x 4 dur)... and i can buy from port maybe other 5-6 basic connie (20-24 new ones)... so if i have 8 op i will have 160 connie, with 60-80 new ones in ports...so each connie i craft, gives me 5 connie...with same amount of resources. too easy building personal fleet of infinite ships... reintroduce 1 dur ships, so 8 op=40 ships only , more resourse consumption, fewer resources for 1st rates...also you can buy only 5-6 new gray ships in ports, so you have to learn how to fight really good in pvp or you will finish your ships before you are able to replace them; losing 1 ships means not only high cost of materials, but also LH you must spend to replace each connie you lose while are trying to collect them to build 1 1st rate...so delayed 1st rate building....
  18. nice! but... 1: remove possibility to switch nation (only go pirate). in this way, if your nation is loosing you must fight to defend or make ''forced alliance'' with attaking nation or let them conquer all you ports until so you are able to switch to winner nation. that way lets attakers must finish to conquer 1 nation or the losing nation can grow up again an take back lost ports, if the attaking nation choose to ''ok they have rage quitted, lets change frontline and start attack spain''. USA vs GB 100vs100; GB is also at war with france that has 50 players, and GB is near to win. USA should has to put an alliance with france and go defending some french ports, preventing GB wins vs france and probably take 50 new players on it's side...just new tactics. french players will not rage quit because they have new possibility with new allied, or simply can't switch to the winning GB until GB has finished conquering all french ports. 2: remove possibility to open an OP in enemy waters until all regional ports have been conquered. this prevents the annoying game of pop out from OP that is 20 mt away from the near port, start attacking NPC to create PB preparation and if defenders incoming, come back to port and if engaged and lost battle, spawn again in OP and start again attacking NPC ecc ecc. so, you have to sweat to attack enemy waters until 1 region (3-4 ports) is conquered and safe bases are allowed. then you can go on with the nearby regions. this prevent, for example, to send 20 player for other nation's ports on the other side of map, start conquering 20 ports at same time in undefended waters, put OP in the first port conquered and go on so, teleporting back if necessary. the attacker nation will have 20 player less that aren't able to teleport from other side of map to homebase, for defend in case of counter-attack, until all ports of the region are conquered (then you can buy the 1st op in enemy waters). so, new tactics: split our forces to random attacks or group up to attack 1 port at time until enemy capital? 3: create admiralty mission as now (near port), for grow up lower level players, and RvsR missions for high rank near enemy waters like you have proposed. 4: once enemy port is conquered, you have to do a commercial mission but only to bring resources to the new city. maybe you have a timer in which you must bring a determined quantity of resources. if not, the port falls back to previous nation or maybe neutral...so again PB. 5: reduce costs for crew...really. maybe put a determined quantity in each port that grow up fast if you nation take more ports and grow up slowly if you lose them. you have to sail 1-2 ports to refill high rank ships and 4-5 (if you are lucky) for 1st-2nd-3rd rates. 6: pirate can't craft more than pirate frigate. they have to board from trinco to up.
