Fair fights don't happen in front of KPR, you know that as well as I do, your going to get 25 v 30 or your going to get half our fleet and a bunch of pubs, your just looking for the latter. A fair fight was offered you declined. Pull mechanics are well known in this game, it should not be possible to put 30 ships in a game but it is and we all know it is. If you want a fair fight arrange one with us, but if its a war then strategy is the art of making the fights unfair. Also when the feet sallied yesterday you were one of 4 fleets in front of KPR, the fleet smashed a small french fleet first then you tagged them as they came out of battle, unless you don't talk to the french you knew what was in there

Why? Why should you be able to do as you please with no complaints? It does not just effect you, if you join that port battle with 2 connies and put them down 2 first rates and they lose, then it's costs them their ships. Why should they not be mad about that? The rules allow it yes, but its rude as hell and its not innocent fun. I'm all for you having fun and doing as you like, so long as it does not hurt other players, and what you are doing does hurt other players, you are risking 23 players for the sake of 2, yes you can, no you should not. In addition alts joining in low lvl ships to take up spots in battle is something that has been done many times, don't be surprised when people are suspicions of you when you do it, I'm not in D-N so i cant comment on their clan structure but i doubt its that different from the British, and its the nature of the game that people form clans and clans engage in diplomacy and meta gaming. The bottom line is you're not innocent here, they yell at you in chat you flame them on the forums, you say they are preventing you from enjoying the game, while you're messing up their arranged port battle just because you can. Leaving D-N wont help you in this, every nation would get mad at you for the same thing, it's a widely accepted in game rule of etiquette that big ships join first, because its not just you its D-N as a whole, never mind wider political issues associated with the port right now, is it ok for you to sabotage the port battle and cost people access to ships in outposts or production buildings? Would you be ok if a bunch of cerbs blocked part of your fleet from defending a port by joining the battle and left some of your guys outside? You want them to remember that you're a person too, you should extend the courtesy to them as well.

I feel the need to point out the Lord Vicious might be the greatest naval action diplomat that ever lived..... he brought peace (even if it's only temporary) to the Brits and the Danes XD Seriously, I started play before the EA launch and I cant remember the Danes and the Brits ever not being at a war.

I'm not sure how getting 13 ports when militarily losing the war is bending the knee, they are only obliged to assist in the event that another nation interfere in the defined buffer zone. And by assist I mean declare war, there is not clause requiring any proactive action, much in the same way the pirate's state of war with us here in the Brits has no doubt provided them with valuable moral support in this conflict. We got the last thing we wanted from the war when we took Santiago and we have never had any intention of "crushing" the Spanish. I was in the British attack fleets when they had only 4 ports and it is not something I feel the need to revisit, though I confess the huge fights in disposable ships of those days were loads of fun.

I was in this battle on the Brit side, and when focused by the opposing team at mid range I took less then 10% side dmg

Can you clarify as to weather or not players still face automatic (that is computer controlled/moderated) account resets for Green on green. In the past it has been stated that this is handled automatically server side, and that several green kills will result in exp reset or forced conversion to the pirate faction.

It has become an issue in the Brits, and I expect in many other factions too, that turnover of the player base has rendered many timers unalterable. I would like to see a mechanism added to trade lord protectorship to another player in the same faction. At least then factions may have less in the way of timers they can't change.

Yes, in that example, But is a 3rd rate at 350 worth as much as one at 650 crew? He is not talking about commodores in vics, but about post captains in 3rd rates. As for the rest I Don't mind the number of factions we have now, but I think some of the capitols could stand to be moved, mostly those of spain and the brits, and maybe the pirates.

I don't mind frigate packs operating out of free towns or shallow ships, what annoys me is that you can hide a whole first rate fleet in there and its at no risk. I would support no SOL's in free ports, bur I'm iffy on no warships.
