tell the game to only update on game launch and put steam to offline before starting the game.*

Though the whole point of an alpha or beta is that it is a testing phase where we, the customer (or as it is, voulenter tester) plays the game and report bugs and features the developers wont catch in-house in a much smaller scale. And some corrections or changes made might cause a savegame to be corrupt, and to avoid bug reports on false terms to be sent in, the easier part is to just kill the savegame.

We really have a simple choice. To participate in the beta, or not.

 

*You can also go old-school, create a shortcut on your desktop to the .exe, and launch it that way.

It works for the missions in the upper left corner, something small on the edge of the map would work?

The game in the Pacific is quite painful for me, but I guess I'm too spoiled by Paradox and similar titles.

Possibly not known, but you can user your keyboard and actually Shift + curser keys to zoom rather quickly on the map.Not precisly what you suggest, but maybe helpful if not already known.

In case they implement that i'd like to see these keyboard shortcuts:

Pos1 / home: Center on your homelands

Page up: Left border of map

Page down: right border of map.

[Update 10]
- Fixed remaining issues of auto-design,hull part problems, creating campaign turn lags and campaign generation delays. 
- Added +10 more hulls increasing the new hulls to a 68 total. The list is too long. Please read the full list on the central thread.
- Increased a little the population growth in the campaign, to cover the many deaths due to war.
- Improved further the logic of major offensives now working also for the offensives against minor nations. Overall the governments should choose to invade more wisely.
- Fixed torpedoes not hitting some hulls.
- Further 3D battle performance optimization.

The saves had to be reset, due to the many fixes in hulls and code. Please make sure to clean up your saved designs as well.

Please Restart Steam to get this update fast.

Beautiful hulls. @Nick Thomadis one simple question. All the new hulls to be available for the player with the update 1.4 are out already? Just so I know if I can start working on the mod.

A few more will be added, but I think you can start working with what is available. I do not know if something will need fixing, hopefully it will not. As it goes, next week all will become finalized. Happy you like them!

The thing is, it's not about losses in the war. In this example, France has been at peace for most of these 20 years and participated in just one short war with Germany. It's just that the population growth is too small.

I could give such examples for any country within that campaign, if it had not been deleted. Among all countries, only China has increased its population by more than 1 million people in 20 years.

Can you please indicate next time which new hulls have been added? Looking for all the new ones in this whole list is quite painful.

In addition, there is such a hull, which is simply not on the list. British “Advanced Escort Cruiser II”

This one is a renamed and modified previous one. There are various modifications on several previous hulls but those are not mentioned.

Any plans to add the ability of US MK 1 and 2 12 and 13in turrents to allow the mounting of 8in turrents above them so we can make Kearsarge and Virgina classes. the Logic seems to exist for the Brittish turrets with the 2in guns. Or Costal Battleship to mount a single 12in per barbette place aka the USS Texas 1895

We will try to add, for the early USA looking guns, ok, but not for so large caliber.

Ok, but FYI the US did actually mount dual 8in turrets above the main turrets for Kearsarge and Virginia, it affected the rate of fire for virginia and made both ships top heavy but it was done lol.

I know but it was a failed, rare design and in the game anything can break because of this feature which the AI can overuse.

Part of the problem is that the 8 inch guns were not a separate turret, but rather part of the same turret, so they were trained with the main battery. I could see this wrecking havoc on the game.

More personality to the ships would be awesome tho i doubt there will be things such as custom paint jobs for ships or even painting scheme for entire fleet. I would love things such as splinter protection as a cosmetic but lets be honest

 

It is a dream that will probably never come such as workshop support  or better ai tactics and formations

This is France in 1920, after 20 years in the game.

As you can see by the size of GDP, it has been a good 20 years for France, but the population has grown by only 500 thousand people.

For comparison, France at the beginning of the 1920 scenario.

You might think that the population is not so important in this game. But for such a small country as SPain, this is very important. In fact, you are locked up with your very small population until the end of the game, despite all your efforts to strengthen the economy. Your army remains terrible, and you have a small crew pool.

Transport capacity should allow for small increases in pop
