  2. This thred says"Great battle results." So its all in the eyes of the beholder. If they feel that was a great battle, they are allowed to post, if u dont like it...ignore it and move on. No need to be a **** about it! I am getting real tired of ppl telling other ppl what is ok to post on a public game forum.
  3. The idea is great, if this game was layered in that way. What u are proposing now its just more scarcity and grinding for the casuals.The devs say this is a sandbox MMO, and players aparently like to sail the biggest ships. The only way to limit this is to hard code limitations for the battles (eg. events, patrols, pb's). MHO!
  4. The Last resort is : Admirality provides the ships for the Patrol Zone, this way u control which ships get int-o the Zone plus if players get ganked they loose nothing ... only fun!!! Make this Admirality ships untaggable by other ships that are not provided for this specific Patrol Mission. MHO
  5. Why not limit the ship types, sailing in the Patrol Zone? Or maybe, provide the ship from the Admirality. @admin said "u need three runs to get to 10000 damage points". Well lets prove that theory, give every player that takes a Patrol Mission three ships to do with them as much damage as possible. There has to be some type of mission control so players will only take the provided ships to the patrol zone. With this layout ganking will still be possible but they will present more targets for u to shoot at...and in the end making as much damage as possible is the goal
  6. The simplest way to improve rvr is to have a centralized hostility generator. This way the strong nations will be at war and the rvr we are doing at the moment will be secondary. Like nation wars and provincial wars.!

  8. This is how the sinking ships cargo should be implemented. Floating debree to be picked up.
  9. Because its how its supouse to be. Make it so when a ship loses both armour and structue on a side its no longer possible to regain back to 40%.

I hate to be the one that points out that, unless u try to match the new player to fight eachother somehow, this sounds a lot like "we will send a lot of sheeps to La Mona under the pretext of pvp fun for everyone, can the wolves welcome them in an appropriate manner!". With the game meta a Cerberus, Renomme or Surprise will get demasted within 2 min of a battle by a Trinc or an Endy, leaving one player to spectate the rest of the battle while the other gets all the fun. This will make, once again, a few people very happy and it will create griefing for the rest. I do hope i am wrong!

  12. I have listened to the different takes on how to make RvR more attractive. We all want to get people more involved in RvR and this way, have them understand the beauty with this game. Have to say that suggestions are many and some are quite creative, one thing stands out thow, and that most of us agree that we need a clan based solution. Here is my suggestion. Suggestion My suggestion is based, and is quite similar to the competitions in the game of Football. That is within every nation there will be a constant competition between clans to get to the top three. The national competition is flag based and requires that every clan should have an own outpost. Like so: Clan A pulls a flag for Clan B. Clan B attacks Clan A defend at Old Providence and the outcome Clan A wins. Clan A gets 3 points. Then Clan A attacks Clan B defend at Turneffe and Clan B wins. Both of them have 3 points and the national competition continues until all the participating clans have battled each other. The next step is that the top three clans will participate in the world domination competition. The rules are the same only that this time the theater of war is the whole map. Now I know that I said 3 clans from every nation but that gives 33 clans and that’s not a good number. So my suggestion is that the lowest points do not participate. And so we have a world domination competition with 32 clans. I understand that it is a bit trickier to duel other nations especially when it requires countless hours of sailing around the map. But, maybe adjustments can be made to accommodate this idea. Who knows… Implementation Most of the algorithms required for this idea, already exist within the game and have been tested at one point or another. Not a lot of new programing is required, even for a small team of developers. The only new programing that is required is the competition framework and a counter that keeps tabs on the points from all the battles. Conclusion I believe that this idea have the potential to remove griefing from the RvR and give us a clear winner and champion with every iteration. Tks!

  15. Its all about you, Sweden! You had the Russian Empire as the punching bag of the server from day one, trough your machination and so called diplomacy. Now they say "enough!" and its still not fair. Everybpdy wants to play the Swedish version of NA, its only fair.🤣
