  1. The looser still gets nothing, even thow he/she put up a great fight! so the incentive is for running away.

  4. @Magnum So u feel that this, the way they have it now, its the right way! You actually want more running?
  5. I dont know how the pvp mark is calculated! But i have a suggestion: Every pvp battle start by giving each player 1 pvp mark, while (the battle is on(every player in the battle gets 1 pvp mark for 500 enemy damage)); if (1 of the player escape from the battle: he, the player who escaped does Not get a pvp mark(but he get to keep his ship, cargo and all) the player who stayed in battle gets 1 pvp mark); if(1 player surrenders: loss of ship, cargo and no pvp mark); if (1 player looses the battle: loss of ship, cargo and receive pvp marks according to the damage done); Allso if for example two players are in a battle instance, and no damage was done in, lets say 5 min, to none of them: assume they are wating eachother to escape, so, end battle instance with no pvp marks, unless players allready managed to make 500 damage! I understand that you want to make the player made ships hard to come by, but the current sollution this just gives no chance to the casual player. This in turn makes player not engage other players in pvp unless they are sure to win! We all want pvp, its just that is a lot of running in pvp battles at the moment. I relly think that this will boost players to participate more in pvp battles and be more aggresive and not run away if the battle in is not easy win. @admin Please take this in to consideration!

  7. This constant grinding! We grind for ship knowledge, for gold, for resources, pvp marks and conqest marks. Its to much! Then, when we have a little time left, we grind for hostility. I think that somewhere this game went wrong. No wonder, that we get salty when some1 finds a loophole to avoid this. It went a bit backwards, i do not mind grinding, its just that this game has to manny levels of it. And allso, according to this grinding logic, some player will never get the chance to sail a decent ship. I mean those that require pvp marks. Lets assume that a player is bad at pvp and losses all his fights. The way things stand now, he, the player will neve get to craft a ship of the line. Then, u messed up the resource crafting. More often then not resources are cheaper to buy at the market then craft them yourself. Not in the same outpost, sure, but still, its frustrating! Example: For me it takes 240 gold to craft 4 fir log(240/4=60gold) and, as u can see i do not include spent "LH". At the same time, there are places that sells this product for as low as 31gold at a profit. Same with Oak, Iron, Hemp and maybe others. Please, try and make a change for the relief of all this grinding!
  8. I understand, what u mean, what i don't get is: The guy in "my team" has a kill, yet no1 died in the other "team".
  9. I run in to a outlaw battlle, so i got curios. This is what i found. I dont know that is a planed trap or is just farming the alts, you decide!

  11. When i made my first million selling Compass Wood! Had to sail into enemy port to do this:) First time i used the smuggler flag.
  12. The timing was ridiculous!... but, take your time! Make it worth the wait.
  13. I tested the changes, made to the game in testbed and enjoyed most of it. Let me explain: · Traders Threw myself straight into fighting a trader! The fight was as before: kill sails, damage one side, kill crew, board. Not too complicated, and that’s nice, giving the grind that is in front of us. Did not get rich from its cargo J. Giving that I did not have the fleet perk was unable to get the capped ship. So fleet ship perk it’s a must! · Missions Got stuck, at the end of battle screen, with no place to go. And so I had to start over. No problem! · Open World PVE Fought a Cerberus and sunk it. The fight was ok, got PVE Marks. · Trading At this point I had to change the ship and got a message that I had no repairs or medkits. I did have plenty, just in the wrong place. My suggestion for this is to let us teleport this like we did with the ship upgrades. So the trade was strait forward, crafted my own goods sailed them for a bit and sold them at a small profit. The FT deliveries, still in place. · Open World PVP Was unable to find another player to fight with. · Crafting Haven’t had the time yet. In summary, great stuff! Looking forward to the mission bug fix and the deployment on the live servers. Good Jobb!
  14. If u follow the tread to the beginning: admin posted on the 5th april " First test bed patch (estimated time to deliver end of next week) " thats this week!
  15. @adminits the end of the week, any chance for that new patch? or will there be a third delay?
  16. Debate and testing are diffrent things. And u say it won't work as if you were part of the discussion. Lets give it a try and then debate if its working or not.
  17. I do not mind this coming ship/modes wipe, i even think is necessary giving the fact that some of us exploited the game instead of helping out. What i do mind is the radical changes that seems to happen every six months or so. Instead of a graduate adding of new features, accompanied by a poll to let us give our input/feedback on the changes, and from there roll in or out the new features. Instead,the devs just change the game radically. I heard some1 say that the devs want to split the servers according to time zones, because of the night flipping problem. This has to make for a record in stupid ideas. Just make a series of PB for the contested region in all the time zones and to win it a nation have to win the majority of the PB battles(just an ideea). Not split! This has to be the only game that wants less players on their servers. Nevermind that we the players have to be active on dif. forums just to keep up with whats going on in the game tutorials on youtube, news on this forums, crafting info from wiki and so on. Your organisational structure is broken u need to fix that. U have a great ideea in your hand now concentrate and make it happen!!! This changes you just droped on us makes everyone freak out. Or just me....I just had to say this, hope this new patch will be good.
  18. I am happy that u finally decided to take control of this game. By now, you should have a clear vision of how this game is going to be. Now present your vision and let us decide if we stick around or find something better. I for one, will stick around, thats for damn sure:)

  22. Hello! I’ve been playing Naval Action for quite a while now, and I feel the game has taken a wrong direction. First of all the name should be changed to Gangs of Naval Action (ironicJ). I like the introduction of newbie region and a lot of the new details with the new patch, having said this there is some stuff devs should take into consideration. My biggest disappointment is the perpetual ganking taking place all over the map. This is unacceptable! So I decide to make some suggestions: Player taggs should only be 1vs1 and no join timer or group join. Create more Nations, i acctually know this is coming but just in case. Pirates should NOT be a nation. Instead every nation should have their own pirates. Just like the check box for the smuggler make one for going pirate. Introduce War Zones instead of this ganking action in and around capital regions. The outcome of this wars should be the amount of traders NPCs coming in to a region. Introduce Pirate waters were the ganking is allowed and the players not enjoying being ganked can keep away. Well this was my major concerns with this game. Otherwise the game is glorious and I love it! Keep up the good work! P.S. remember devs: DO NOT BELIVE THAT PLAYERS WILL BEHAVE RESPONSABLY! Thanks for listening
  23. I would like to see some type of reward for visiting a fair amout of ports, to encourage players to sail the whole map. Way it is now, reward is to small compaired to the risks u take sailing or trading in enemy outposts. Tks.
