  1. The so much appreciated 'balance' you so often advocated, apparently no longer apply when the numbers could work for you.
  2. There is a fundamental difference between a calculated estimate, in this case based on comparisment of server activity numbers in the respective timezones, and educated guesses. So the answer is no.
  3. Thanks to the above post showing the 1st round of casted votes (assuming the constellation of players per nation is about equal) we now have some insight about the nation playerbases. For future reference we can let go of the 'educated guesses' and go for some more solid numbers. Additionally the Brit playerbase is spread over the clock more than most other nations. This concludes the EU timezone Brit playerbase is even less, estimated 60% EU and 40% AUS/US. A simple calculation shows you the British nations EU timezone playerbase, although still the largest could be less than 20%. The above numbers present a very different frame of the perceived Brit numerical domination. It clearly shows the potential mistake and motivation made by the Swedish nation.
  4. The 'Lappsjuka' must have reached peaklevels since the Antilles treaty. A treaty which triggered a lot of boredom and unhappiness among many, except the French, because of the lack of (port) battles. Great Britain and it's allies have now started to return shipments of cheap firwood back to the land of surströmming, köttbullar, folköl and blodpudding. Our IKEA catalogues are now serving as toiletpaper and we started to harvest domestic oak woodtypes and reconfiguring our vessels for an all out smörgåsbord fight. Godspeed Swedish Captains, see you on Monday.
  5. Wrong - read the treaty: the word ATTACK is not even being used in that treaty, let alone screening. But regardless, the treaty ends in about 38 hours from now unless all parties agree otherwise.
  6. Geez fox, now I understand why you don't take the 35 mil. You could be worth 50 mil.
  7. Every individual in our nation can be part of the decisionmaking proces by simply joining the councilmeetings announced in our nation TS. Fortunately the British nation is all about cooperation, from decisions to battles. Individual freedom of mind, tolerance/acceptance and unity in decisions is a nations most powerful weapon. All clans are one British nation. A proud servant to our cause.
  8. You are mistaken about the pirates, no such posts by me.
  9. I doubt it. As for the rest; I'm pretty sure most of us stopped caring about what you think of our sincerety. Fact is that the British nation, since July 25th, have not crafted one single flag against Spain. Personally I'm glad that in a couple of days the new patch is coming out which might terminate this treaty. I doubt if it matters though, we'll be damned if we do or damned if we don't.
  10. Nope, how about this one: change your attitude, communication and perhaps people become more receptive to your concerns. Frankly most of us grew tired of the current Spanish attitude after showing good intent.
  11. Hi Lord Ravenburg, From a personal stance; The treaty prohibits crafting flags but both you and the Spaniards have a point when claiming that, unrestricted screening activities by British captains in case of an USA attack on Spanish territory, would not be completely in the spirit of the treaty. On the other side it wouldn't be fair to deny any and all activity either. Since we have not received reports of massive screening activities by Brit captains, the British council leaves it up to the individual British captains to work with this situation in a fair and balanced way and not to make internal requests. British Captains/Clans are however encouraged to fully support the USA in case of attacks on USA ports by Spaniards and/or Pirates.
  12. You were GIVEN 13 ports by the Brits and OFFERED 2 ports by the Americans for nothing in return. This was done with the sole purpose to help your nation to get back on its feet. Almost all British clans have shown restraint and accepted the boredom in your territories to help you out and preserve the game. You don't have to; but a simple 'thank you' would have made a difference between day and night. At least stop allegations about arrogance and such; the treaty and its intent clearly void your claim. As for the treaty; The treaty prevents both parties to craft flags on eachothers respective territories. The screening and PvP activities by British captains have been and are, only limited and above all, literally consistent with the three admirals treaty. If you have any problems with the content of the treaty we advise you to contact your coucil instead of complaining in here.
  13. Respect for PODW, not just their skills but foremost for being courteous in battle.
  14. Fox, my advice: take the dough, welcome to the Brits - our council is everybody.
  15. I'm afraid you 'll be dissapointed. Unless it becomes an option to ally up with your enemy and tthus to block him from taking your ports. The next 'exploit' discussion perhaps?
  16. Well done gents - needless to say we'll come back another day with a bit more competative BR rating.
  17. Sorry m8, you became victim of a vindictive British fleet. At the wrong place and time.
  18. The Brits are happy the pirate threat against the Swedes has been countered and the three 'not pulling a flag against a Danish port' days are over in a couple of hours.
  19. Last night Macao SORRY did not lived up to its propaganda. Per definition the number of ships in a fight in open water or port battle is limited. There is no such thing as 90v25 , there can be 25v25. Thanks to 'Assasin' an attempt to fight was made. Unfortunately everybody else choose to remain passive.
  20. Vicious has a point with regard to his 'fishing comment'. Next time SORRY pays a visit to Denmark I'll go fish somewhere else. I noticed Danish, French and Spanish waters are still good fun.
  21. This is incorrect. The majority of the British clans, upon request by the Swedish diplomat, decided to hold off on territorial changes (crafting flags). This status quo is time limited. Any and all Danes in PvP situations will/can be attacked.
