    The British Council just agreed to the Three Admirals deal. Additionally, the British Council announces the cancellation of the unilateral proclamation which was done on July 25th (http://forum.game-labs.net/index.php?/topic/14844-hello-england/page-6)

    The British Council is in general assembly next Sunday to discuss the final version of the 'Three Admirals treaty', based on the status quo on August 1st.. As for this limited caesefire; according to the deal, the Spanish defeat of the 'Spring 2016 campaign' is being marked by the unilateral declaration by the Brits aswell as the return of 13 ports to Spain and the exclusion of portbattles on Cuba. Regardless of individual opinions we hope, by accepting this temporary treaty, this great game in general is going to be the true winner here.

    The British nation would like to pay the Dutch council and all its clans the utmost respect for its efforts. We sincerely hope that any internal differences of opinion shall be resolved. Every single one of you are great guys with a good sense of humor and descent morals. I hope it works out. Having that said I hope to continue to meet you guys both in-game and in meetings on TS.     Unless a massive influx of alts is able to manipulate the system - not much will change in my opinion. We became attached to our Pirate, French and Spanish counterparts. Don't see that will change in the near future.

    Indeed your argument is useless. 4 Out of 19 ports in that area have/had been affected and defended by AUS/US players on their timezone. The rest was open to your fleet. Just to be clear: Nobody should blame the individual captains to leave the battlegrounds but you yourselves made that choice to leave the Spaniards to the merci of the Dutch/British fleets. If this is a testament as to how much the French nation values their relation with their friends and allies, you have a lot of work to do.

    I almost fully agree with you (except for the pretense nonsense). And to make it clear (if it wasn't already); The Brits didn't asked for this limited ceasefire, we believed being a Gentlemen after all the tears in this forum, was enough. But on the other hand we must be honest about it; we, perhaps alike the Spaniards, became tired and bored. It happend also to the Dutch, French, Danes and Swedes wich resulted in their Antilles treaty.

This enabled your nation the relaxation you needed apprarently, to pick up the fight in coordination with the Pirats and the French (pretty much like you did not long ago). As you see there is no rudeness required to make a point. As for the proposed limited ceasefire; we have been saying to consider it to be an extension of our already implemented unilateral limited ceasefire which is in place since almost 2 weeks now. This limited ceasefire (only limited Portbattles - PvP is not included) is in place because you complained about being worried to be steamrolled by the Anglo Dutch efforts and complained your playerbase would dissapear if the GB/VP offensive action would continue. When you start to attack our American friends you make it clear that your playerbase is up strength again. Therefor we don't see a good reason to not assist our friends within the bounds of the limited ceasefire proposal. The fact your nation refuses to include the Americans in the limted caesefire also raises a question mark about the integrity of your motive and real intentions. Among other reasons this is the very reason for our public support to the US. I hope this is clear enough.

    Since it already is explained; nothing practically changed over the last two years so not going there. As for alliances in general there is really no point... Thats why we don't complain about the coordinated actions by our opponents here in the forum. Instead we rather play a game instead of flooding this forum with the same sour attitude we see in here on a daily basis. But the other thing, the numbers you write in here are interesting; Quick and sincere question; where do you get these numbers from? Do you have actual statistics? Can/will de dev's actually confirm your statistics suggestion? And wouldn't it be fair when, after we actually have the solid numbers over active/non active players, to consider topographic advantages/disadvantages? Only when these are taken into consideration it would be fair to make conclusions, wouldn't it?

    A: the limited ceasefire is not accepted up to this point B: the limited ceasefires is a limited ceasefire, not an alliance C: the limited ceasefire is for a limited time until the diplo patch and to help our Spanish friends back up their feet.

    As far as I'm concerned nobody lost anything - frustrating the intent of this truce means we all will lose everything. This truce deal done with the intent to provide the Spanish nation the opportunity to get back on its feet and was an extend to the already unilaterally proclamation by the Brits.

    We had reports French forces tried to capture Sale Trou in the middle of their night in the assumption (considering their low numbers) it would be undefended - it wasn't, on multiple attempts. What is left is the repeated drama by the usual suspects...

    This issue will not and cannot be solved by players (from ALL nations) themselves as they are and remain the weak link. In the end its game mechanics deciding the outcome of many actions, and this one is included. From what I have read this is the issue - it's not about who can claim superior decorum in battle. Over time it has been proven that the latter is pointless.
