    The thing I believe more than whatever format used from GeForce or whatever is EDITING... Hundreds of hours brought down to a watch-able short with commentary. JodaSat even though I'm not Pirate or you wouldn't even class me as a PvPer I seem to understand all your Nations issues more than most. Don't Live stream make mini's... I just don't have the talent for it but would love to see a PB done "Short" from both sides etc... Or a build up to a PB... Don't be scared about giving away secrets passe. The way to beat Ned is to practice, get sunk, practice, get sunk, practice.... when I'm there... He'll shout it from the roof tops let alone me when I sink him finally.... They (the player) still have to do the "Hard Yards". Data Secrets is a different subject to this in reference to Camel Toe. On STEAM I published another guide yesterday on the SKY View control. Yes giving secrets away but you still need to practice them.

    Elric OneEye I definitely wasn't on, and great it breach 200+ players. I'm still new but seriously are the Dutch numbers so High? The Danes 9% is the actual player and not the ALTs as well of course. this as got to be a good sign going forward with more people returning....

    That's great News Loco glad to have another old player back in PvP US(2). I'm new to this server Late November. You stopped totally or went to PvP(1)?

    The ELITE vs BLACK challenge Koltes, Big thank you for your reply. Am still busy RL stuff for at least another week. The example you use is why I purposefully said from the start no youtube or even talked about outside ELITE. This is a selfish move for my education and not for server wide entertainment. BLACK have nothing to gain in this challenge apart from better PvP oppo in the future. For now I'll shelve the idea then. All other Captains If you want me to look into a Server wide small competition "The Carebear Challenge Cup" for instance like PvP(1) at holiday times. I will do if you want me too? Sir Texas wants a gunboat thing you may have other ideas... Also was thinking more of teams rather than clans or nations so solo players can team up plus mechanic enemies also can play along side each other... I will have a chat with Ink, and the PvP(1) organizers if you wish. Help I'll need from the likes of JobaSet on filming etc... I can't do it alone. Let me know.... Norfolk.

Hunt and trap you, Board you, Sink you and tactically out play you in battle in hopefully the not too distant future. The battle will not be filmed by us or talked about beyond ELITE. We want you to show us our future in PvP. What if I suggest All Green Bucc's? ouch .... all GOLD Buccs at a push? but remember we are still a young clan Koltes, that'll cost us a bit (and you are not going finance us) but if that brings you to the table I will talk to the boys ? no Mods perm or regs or Officer Perks of any kind. Plain Gold Vanilla, just gun load outs and repair kits... I could deck out 6-7 Elite. If you agreed to the Green Connie I would obviously supply you all with them(that doesn't sound much, but It would be for us). Let me know what you think [Norfolk nChance]

    Re-Post from old thread Bullet Log .. if time read my STEAM guide "Penetration, Armor and Structure". Last paragraph it tells you how to extract it in a useful notepad. Its actually the screen dump of the CTRL+L function in Battle, but much easier to read. For me I read it after every battle win lose or draw....Its only for your last battle only.... A prime example... I was in a Common Connie outside La Torture and decided to take on Neverdead Ned and lonewolf both in Bucc's. I shouted at them, then to Flipper this is bollocks and totally unfair. So he came out in a Green Connie also... I said Ned ya gonna need some more BLACK. At which point he boarded me then I think sank me then reversed back over me. Haven't seen Flipp since so Wolf must have eaten him... Anyway I digress, I pulled my Bullet Log. And studying BLACK was amazed at his(Ned's) speed and I couldn't quite pull away from him. Yet you'd a thought Connie should be able to do it. The boarding dropped me in a round. The BulletLog allowed me to see his gun loadout and profile and how effect I was also... impacts received and delivered plus other stuff , but that's for you to research. Funny I shared this with Ned after, he gave me some useful advice on types and tips on Capping Bucc's and Port Battle Bucc's and cocky GB Nation upstart Bucc's But Yes BulletLogs are brilliant.

    All Captains, Clans, Nations, ALTS, Pimps etc on PvP US(2) A couple of fyi things... Sir Texas Sir wanted to restart this thread as El Capitano is on the beach at the moment. Unfortunately I was unable to get Ink to unpin the old one and re do this one till this morning. To stop confusion 3 basic posts continued after Sir Texas's restart on the old thread. One from ElricTheTwo on SINK getting 2 old French players back and adds several players to the French clan. Myself with two, first one BulletLog retrievals How too... and The All Stars Carebear Challenge Cup.... For Brevity and reference I will re-write my posts into two and post below. ElricTheTwo could you do the same if possible, again the reference is much needed for the Server. Sir Texas, It might be me being dumb but I cannot Update your post at the front. Can I suggest we PM you with the info to be added or someone tell me how to do it? Also may I suggest against each active clan a rep name or leader for a new player to contact be displayed? Maybe the clans languages Like Dane's CCCP Mandarin is a great USP... Finally, Marius's Clan Meetings thread, and JobaSet's "Camel Toe" thread PvP EU(1) continue to over populate this forum a tad. Within no time these two posts will disappear and be hard to track. These are not really Pin-able content yet in my opinion yet I wouldn't want them to just die out because some one on PvP EU(1) had an hair cut... Anybody any thoughts on this and future semi keep-able threads? regards Norfolk

    JobaSet, I'm a tad busy at the moment and need to think this through better.... give me a day. Remember I want different information to you or VDD (see my reply to Sir Texas) but the logic is p/ss easy. I just need to re-think your question generator. The Mods, ship build, cannons, individual upgrades and officer perks are all only modifiers and is already captured at the Group_Battle_Start_Log.txt stage. The single PC packet finish sent back to the Shard server at Battle exit to Pre-OW stage Post area would look more or less exactly the same as the PCs current BulletLog in the log file under the normal commons directly steam folder. But would be a lot longer file dump. The logic trigger for who actually sank the PC I'm worried about... The One thing I don't like about this information is secrets given up for all to see. Without re-pasting reference stuff. See my Conversations with Jean, Sir Texas, Koltes regarding my fight with Ned and Lonewolf in Bucc's and me in a Green Connie. I explain to Sir Texas (Bulletlog) I was able to find out how Ned better loaded out his ship. Which takes study. Just a easy quick reveal spoils the hard work done by Ned designing a better mouse trap. I've never revealed Ned's loadout or the actual nuts and bolts advice he gave. With us as a community going down this route we maybe revealing too easily the work put in. I am I making sense with this statement? anyway will be back with an idea cheers Norfolk

    Agree with "Mike" here, Please relay a battle report from your point of view as you saw it. I Love the smack talk when in the right places guys. This thread Isn't the right place for it. I and all but one ELITE couldn't get in the PB here this morning, for me at 7am. Would like to read a report of how it unfolded from any view point from those inside Norfolk

    Sir Texas, lol DO NOT URBAN DICTIONARY my alternatives to Camel Toe VDDs table is quite possible. But numbers for numbers sake is not. Ned(very loose quote) said sometimes people get too wrapped up in mods stats, this and that without actually fighting.... it detracts. This I wouldn't want but for me on the Battle Command learning curve it might really help. You as well as the other Senior Leaders for all nations realize My open and frank PB reply reports to your Synopsis is to help me push forward and much more importantly are yours and all other community follow up posts and advice. A quick an easy Group_Bullet_Log report might highlight deployment mistakes or whatever. The API delivery is a delayed response which would help free Server space at Battle Ends. You wouldn't get the Log till the next roll round. If direct drop back into every players common file (next to your own BulletLog same place, get it?) it might Strain the server but I guess JobaSet is more qualified to answer that than me. Norfolk.

    JobaSet, Van Der Decken's results table could be generated in the same way the PC BulletLog.txt info dump occurs. Each PCs Battle Entry point triggers a packet (start profile info) to the server. The battle open window timer closers creates Group_Battle_Start_Log.txt. This creates the total boxed universe of PCs in this Battle without the NPC component (even if NPCs are actually in the battle). As each individual PC exits to Pre-OW stage post area. This creates Individual PC packet finish profile log. (unfortunately NPC damage dealt to the PC will be included here). When total number of PC exit logs equals Start logs... server dumps difference via API or returned into the common file on every participants machine. This the netted figures is VDD's results table.... also... confused... please send examples of Camel Toe? Is this different from a burning Bush? or a badly packed Kebab or even a Toothless Gibbon... examples would help this dumb carebear... regartds Norfolk nChance

    Even if he was guilty what would happen...? No rules issued by Games-Lab around ALT usages were issued. A strongly worded email from a moderator doesn't count. The Use of a game modulated modifier or bot or cheat also no rules issued by Games-Labs EULA code of conduct governs steam accounts so this is working... If I'm wrong on any of these points (and I so hope I am). Please tell me. NO In fact show me where these rules are... regards Norfolk.

    Jean, thanks! once you get used to using it regularly information starts popping out left right and center... The example attack I did on Ned and Lone really opened my eyes seeing it in Practice. Like Sir Texas's load out mix seems at first odd but then makes kinda sense. Remember he has experience over me so I need more statistical proof due to it not being intuitively obvious yet. I'm noticing the increase in fires again creeping back into the game, leak ratio increases occurring and Crew refusing to move into survival mode. These were all issues a while back that had being fixed... This loadout is more or less a replicated Fireship mod now... SoL medium Gun load outs in combinations of Permanent Mods like Improved Mag Access with Regular Mods such as Rum Rations and Charismatic Busan. Add the an Officer Perk to reload times and bang... What happens if you over stress the cannons the chance they catch increases. In an SoL this amplifies with many decks of multi medium loads. Two to three broadside each side over a short period stresses the chances... The long cannon gives time for the gun to cool down even with the reload buffs... extra note... the Crew refusing to move could be "FIRE SHOCK" after a cannon pop. Somethings hard to see your warning on the Right side of the screen. Norfolk
