    Movie was alright but this scene, which ends the movie, was top notch. Scaled down of course, pretty faithful representation of the pike and shot era

    Wonderful news! Though I would have preferred the Temeraire or Tonnant as we already have two first rates, any Jacques-Noel Sane ship that makes it to the game is a good thing.

    Indeed. The margin for error is even smaller in group battles because the discipline needed to retake the wind is seldom present. The outcome of these battles can and is usually decided within the first two to five minutes. Once wind is conceded it's lights out, merely a matter of time. Shooting at masts is only effective if the charging team does to line astern rather than line abreast.

    When put into action on Trafalgar, and people actually listen, it is a complete wipe out. Without fail, ever single time.

    Let's not get carried away... What will constitute this board? Will it be made up of players or will it be an automated mechanic? The former will lead to politicking and acrimony, the latter will seldom hit the mark. It may serve the RP players, to an extent, but the vast majority of people would find going to a "military court" thanks to actions in game a bit tedious to say the least. Some things really don't add to the enjoyment of the game, this would be a waste of resources for little gain, in my humble opinion.

    What, the tugboats? Well it sort of does if they insist on claiming it is still sailing. It may not matter to you, but the old girl has seen better days. Idolizing things and people sets one up for disappointment.

    Come on, I like her as much as the next guy but be honest with yourselves, Maturin's right. She's a barge with masts for all intents and purposes at this point. She hasn't sailed under her own power in decades. The title in this video tells you why the navy continues to call her sea worthy. Bragging rights over HMS Victory which is in truth the oldest commissioned warship in the world by several decades. No tugboats means no more claiming the title with the dubious disclaimer.
