Add sounds to let players know they hit target.

Recommended Posts

Add sounds when shot hits enemy ship and show damage numbers. Make different sounds for sails, critical hits and powder room. Currently, it is little too realistic without sounds and hit points. If you played WoWarships you will know.

you mean something like Cha Ching... ching ching ching.. and floating numbers flying away from the enemy ship that you have to click fast to increase XP rewards?  :D

Or for a lowly fee of 4.99 EUR you can buy a booster which clicks 10 of them for you....

Like in, you fire a broad side and see: 100dmg, 102dmg, 90dmg, 150dmg, popping above that ship? Yeah, please no. Maybe some visual indicator could be added (like hit marks on the cannon aiming shadow) but I dislike that idea as well.

Haha. Not that crazy. Well crew cheering would be something to start with. Bell sound or anything to let us know we are hitting the target.

Seriously? Crew cheering every single time a ball impacts the target? It would be almost continuous in certain circumstances. There are already clear audio (close range) and visual indications you are hitting the target. Nothing more needed there.

However, once surrender is fully implemented, it would be great to have a crew cheering when an enemy ship strikes his colors to you, providing a good audio cue to stop firing on the target.
