  1. That reply is not solving anything. And other games do have that rule. (even games made by danish companies) Also note that he is asking that the danes should write in english... 50% of the chat is not readable to half the players in the nation. Making 2 or 3 nation chats would solve it. Danish/russian/english
  2. Not but it is immersive that you actually got to sail to the area. If you don't want to sail, just play "small battle" that can be done from the port.
  3. Think you should give it a few days.. and let the shipbuilders get their production up and running... and let the change to coal and iron ore production numbers et in.
  4. Making the sword bigger and a different color would help a lot when sailing in an area with a lot of activity.
  5. Well the danish nation chat is already exploding in insults, anti gay rhetoric, modern politics.. Ad generel idiotic behavior from both Danes and Russians. A way to split nation chat into more than one channel base on language is needed. With a danish, english and russian chat. The alternativ is that most danes put most Russians on ignore and the Russians do the same with the danes. And that is not the solution in the long run. And the community really need to see that you take it serious when players use the report function.
  6. I had the problem back before Christmas... Restarting steam and the PC didn't help. Removing the game and reinstalling it didn't help. Restarting my router worked.
  7. Have tried to remove the game and reinstall it. No effect. Then I realized that I had not tried to shut off my router and restart it... that worked...
  8. Now I get: Connecting to login queue... Awaiting in login queue... Position: Error; login queue ticket was expired --- and after repeated attempts I sometimes get one error... and sometimes get the other.
  9. When I try to log in it first say: Connecting to login queue... then after maybe two minuttes it give me this error. Error: login queue request failed
  10. I have never been talking about early access but about how it is NOW. There is no reason for him to buy it now. Since he don't have a PC and there is a limited number of slots. (as is clear from the topic I linked to and it is very clear from this one: http://forum.game-labs.net/index.php?/topic/7927-just-purchased/#entry149959)
  11. Valve placed a limit on the number of slots for testes, that is why (or at least one reason) why it have not been possible to buy access for some month. http://forum.game-labs.net/index.php?/topic/7894-purchases-open-again-temporarily/
  12. If you don't have a PC there is no reason you should take a testing slot from someone who have. Just wait until you get a PC and then buy the game... Open access is just open beta where everyone can buy access.
  13. Allow contracts that is only open to specific people or groups or nation... depending on how you want it.
  14. My first opinion is NO WAY... this is not a a fantasy rpg. That said, the basic idea -> get the players to log in is good. So the activity just need to be authentic to the setting. No "kill 10 ships".... but patrols, escort duty, transport goods from A to B Also most of it should be open to single players... not everyone like playing in a group...
  15. 1. Look at EVE -> copy -> modify to fit this game setting. 2. Maybe look at dropbox. And allow you to split your warehouse into departments. And then give specific other players access to specific departments
  16. There is a need of some short of "move me from this port to another the map" function. To where you got other ships. My friend is playing and he is across the map and I want to play with him... My port is blockaded, and I don't want to play pvp but want to play the game for a bit. I actually think the PotBS solution was fine... if it had only been possibly every x hour. You get the point. Putting a timer on how often it can be done is the way to do it. Changing Clones in EVE is what? 24hours? I think 6-8 would be fine.
  17. I think all ports should have limit to the "class" of ships it can handle. since the harbor facilities to build, maintain and repair larger ships was simply not that common. So Port A can handle up to class 6 normally, class 5 poorly and 4 and u not at all. And the "poor" result in 200% higher price when repairing and lower price when selling. Ships of the not supported classed should naturally not be sold. Repairing should be impossible. Selling and buying should be more expensive. And naturally most pirate harbor should be rather low and they simply should not have any that can effectively handle a 1st rate. (and that should be very rare for the nations too)

  21. You are mixing what happened in 1801 and Nelson with 1807... where he was naturally not involved.
  22. I sure hope not. Focus on adding ships that is actually needed. lots of different Merchantships, more different ships of the line and so on.
