I agree with you totally. On the eu server (Im sure you've seen the sea of tears), there is about 4 large pirate clans farming regions. Iv not yet seen randoms or smaller clans push hostility but every pirate demands to take part on a pb! I keep saying go do the work for a pb BUT the response I get is "why should I do pve, I hate pve" then why the hello kitty should you get the rewards from the port battle!! This game is full to the brim currently with self-righteous pompous children, who can't believe things have changed. Who refuse to work for anything. From these forums all I see is "I WANT IT NOW FOR FREE, GIVE ME IT NOW, I HATE CHANGE" .... (drives me nuts)

Unless I'm mistaken WE GOT A FREE OUTPOST SLOT ON LAUNCH!!! You just had to pay to build it. WE ALSO WERE GIVEN 5 SHIPS SLOTS FOR FREE!!!! Please get over the mentality that everything should be free!!! (Im guessing your sail for Britain?)

U lot complain when pirates worked like a nation and now the same people are complaining that pirates are not acting like a nation! Give me strength!! There's a massive map out there, get off your Arse, get organised and take advantage of it!!!

With the production costs the same for everyone. Clans are still having to pump funds in (reducing personal wealth), to get the bigger ships. At the end of the day with 1 dura, I'm surprised you don't see more capping fleets with a mixture of ships...

As I pirate I don't really see the point of teleports to free ports! I mean conquest is now slow with local focus. If a pirate clan wants to set up in a freeport they sail there and work out of it. Giving back teleport to freeport will just advertise ganking and counter ganking! If you want to sail you now have to pick where and how not jump jump and jump again!!

Unless I'm mistaken! What we have here is a dumbed down version of the developers idea for resource ownership. I like it!! Work with your nation towards goals and get rewards....!

If you think about it doomy, you can't really blame him. He's used to being part of a super alience where everywhere he sailed there was safe places to hide or friendly ports to visit. Now the Dutch have allies in gb on one flank and the barbarians on the other! It's a scary time with Pirates active in Dutch waters! I'm sure many nationals would prefer to be allied with every other nation and only to war the pirates (#cough pve server)

Unless I'm mistaken is this not what every nation does! How can you see what's outside of a port without going outside. By your own suggestion greenzones should be removed Aswell, should they! I'm just asking for clarification on your suggestion, it's abit open ended. Is this a post suggesting once you leave any port you can't return for a few minutes or a; it's unfair pirates are mean post?!?!? If you think all ports should have timers added before you can re-enter, think this scenario through "you have spent all week gathering resources, you undock and a pirate with buddies is in front of you. You spam the enter dock button but you can't get in. You get attacked and loose your stuff. Would you then go on forums and complain that pirates should be removed along with timers on ports" Constructive enough!

Okay I'll be constructive. Open world sailing is part of this game, being able to enter ports without restrictions is also part of this game. With your own suggestion would everyone be effected the same way or just your hard done by nationals. As a pirate sounds like the pickings are good in Dutch waters, thank you for updating me, I'll be moving there shortly

You should go for it buddy "letter to the new world" Keep it 10 mins long. Just have the barebones who captured what, with any major news. Let's not let those global folk have all the fun. (Im as bad at editing as I am at spelling)

Pirates being pirates yep that should broken to me! Nationals not attacking nationals that's definitely not broken... Erm!! So when national players run to the closest national port to hide from pirates I'm guessing that's fine tho!

Would it be possible @admin to add lgv's, Indiamans and other trade ships to a limited number of the epic AI fleets?? Iv seen you are looking at the possibility of adding resources capture of traders back into game. Would it be possible to adjust the behaviour or the Ai traders that instead of fleeing they fight **edit on the Ai traders in selected AI fleets The resources the ships could hold would be raw! (gold, silver, logs, coal etc) but in very large amounts. (preferable behavior the Ai would use is to stick close to the big ships in the battle for protection) This would give us the players a chance to capture resources (treasure fleets) but with a huge risk. **update** The fleets I'm on about are the ones that have huge BR. **for those who will say it will be to hard are wrong.. Chain the tradeships then run away from the Ai, the Ai will chase thus enabling capture. This also means players would start sailing with AI trade ships in there personal fleets. Opening the door to more pvp
