Did you actually talk to the poor souls you gank in the zone or other safe zone hunters? The way I see it there should be absolutely no pvp possible in the safe zone, but the rewards from fights, be it gold or loot should also be drastically reduced once you reach a certain rank, e.g. Master & Commander to give people an incentive to leave the safe zone.

To me it sounds like when leaving from Great Corn, you can either attack San Andres (Providencia) or Bluefields/Haulover - don't know which one is nearer - (South Mosquito). From there, you have to work your way along the coast: San Andres -> Old Providence -> Serrana or Haulover -> Great River -> Prinzapolka ect. Of course if you wanted to attack the Polish instead, the nearest port from Greact Corn would be Concepcion I think?

In two and a half years I'ver never heard or seen anybody using the term "frontlines", so I would like to know as well. But I think it's simply that you can't attack distant ports out of nowhere anymore, but have to work your way along the coast. So for example (hopefully) nor more parking of your rvr fleet in Free Towns anymore to attack out of nowhere.

You also forgot the AI. AI ==> WAR It's a very important war for most GB players.

I mean the game is much more enjyobale if you give f all about ports and alliances with "historial background". Last summer we had an amazing alliance with EDR, it worked really well, the rest of France didn't like it because GB being a historical enemy. Furthermore a big French clan worked with Brits against Spain, their historical common friend ... So the rest of France allied with Spain (again), effectively destroying EDR (Biggest French clan back then - they could field their own PB fleet + screeners). They either stopped playing or went to pirates (FP clan). @Aquillas can probably give a better insight, if he really wants to.

The game would be much more fun if some people would stop playing it with history-mode on ...

I would ask GNF if it was a mistake or not, but they have like two active members with irregular playing times and they don't communicate with rest of GB.

Neither did we invite them to capture your ports (despite whatever Raxius told you), and neither are the Frenchies around Belize my problem, as I am not online during the time they sink Brits. And also yes, I really don't care about the Costa Rica ports. I've told them it's overextending to the max and you wouldn't learn anything from capturing half a dozen empty ports, but hey ho.

I only know they came down unprovoked, taking ports with massive number advantage (I think only one port was fully contested on Brit side), setting timers so we can't take them back (numbers, baby). Of course as soon as France attacked a US port in the area, they came to Brit TS asking if we could help defending the port against France. 😂 So, not a real conflict, more like the US hiding from Charleston raiders.
