  1. Hmmm...interesting way to ruin the game for single players and small clans (c'mon we know that PBs are for big clans and require coordination). Have to say...I didn't see it coming...nice "coup de theatre"
  2. First of all, we are not whining...we are just giving a feedback and doing our job as testers. My opinions (and those of many other dedicated players out there) are just diametrically different from yours and based on a big love for Naval Action: please try to accept that! Second...judging from the list of your suggestions I have to deduce that 1) your day is made of "at least" 36 hours if you can still manage to play Naval Action with no teleports and so on and 2) you surely like to play in an almost empty environment. We don't want an easy game at all, we just want to keep "the best sailing game" funny, playable and enjoyable for as many players is possible!
  3. Vicious is right. I decided to stop playing (after more than a year of everyday activity) for many reasons and wipe is not among them. 1) crafting is becoming more and more time consuming and risky. It is killing my PVP & PVE time and grant me no more access to all ships (5 non craftable ships atm...more of them in the future). 2) coastal batteries: they are cool, but they limit good PVP targets (with "scaled" distances between ports is really difficult to attack an enemy ship without being under their threat). 3) port battles: they are becoming more and more complex military operations...PB will be day after day restricted to bigger clans with the best ships. 4) game is becoming heavily "elite & RvR oriented", more complex and time consuming everyday...so as a small clan player with couple of hours avaliable to play everyday, I can't really find a role in this game anymore, or get enough satisfaction from it (things getting even harder for solo players). So my decision has absolutely nothing to do with ships wipe.

Problem is: you are making the game more demanding for everyone in terms of time and effort, but you are giving "rewards" more and more through "special events" and "special tournaments"...you want everyone to be "more dedicated" to your game, but want to save special rewards to "a very small elite". Probably medium players with couple of hours to play everyday feel a little bit disappoited about it and think that policy is unfair. Why should I keep crafting, sacrificing my PVP-PVE time time, just to see the best ships being uncraftable by me? Why should I keep playing a game that is becoming day after day more "elite oriented"? I think many players like me are asking themselves the same question. The future of this great game depends on that answer. Please think about it before deleting my post.
  5. C'mon...my post deleted? Just because I said that we should find a better balance between time/efforts requested to players and reward? Because I said that I love the game and don't want it to become an "elite game"? Because I expressed some criticism about the path you are choosing? I repeat: you devs have created a great game and I wish you a great success and have so much respect for you, your passion and your talent, but please start dealing with unfavorable opinions in a different, more "open" way. A negative opinion if expressed with respect and motivated by the love of the game, can be more useful than a 100% positive one. However lesson learned: never express an unfavorable opinion in a "heavy moderated" thread.
  6. 1) crafting...way too much based on randomness and luck. I'd like to be able to determine each feature of ships that I craft. Moreover too many ships now uncraftable or almost uncraftable. 2) possibility to stay in battle result screen endlessly...irritating, deeply unfair. 3) boarding mini game...it doesn't match the greatness and depth of this wonderful game. 4) lack of storms and fog into instances...it would be great to use fog to run away/hide from a stronger enemy or fight into a huge storm. 5) Ui...same reason of point 3). Naval Action deserves a better Ui. Ok, I put 5 points instead of just 3 in my post , but things I love about Naval Action are way more than five...this is still a great game to play :wub: !
  7. Or probaly players will sail grey ships capped or bought from Npcs....bye bye crafters ...
  8. Many new features make me quite perplexed: 1. OW battles instantly closed (and maybe invisibility): gankers paradise. 2. Hostility Missions always opened: easy kills for defenders. 3. Moving towards 1 dura ships? No good for Pvp in my opinion. 4. Crafting: on one side, crafting is getting more and more difficult (new resources needed for exceptional ships, we crafters will be pushed to open shipyards in far away regions...), but on the other hand, luck and randomness are going to stay as key features for us and the list of non craftable (or "almost" non craftable ships) is getting longer and longer (Gunboat, Rattlesnake Heavy, L'Ocean, Agamemnon, Endymion, Indefatigable). I'm quite frustrated about that. Like many other new features tho (trading missions, forts...). So, I'm ready to test the new features but have some doubts and concerns.
  9. I like Wind's idea. Getting xp from sold ships is nice, but completely useless if maximum rank atm.
  10. No, sorry but don't like that idea. Keep the ships painted the way they are now, and let us find/buy some alternate and historical paint schemes. Don't want to have ships painted the same way unless I randomly find some appropriate color-scheme.
  11. I'm quite open-minded and really dunno what kind of "tastes" you have in SORRY Clan...but are Dolphin and Unicorn doing "kinky things" in that image?
  12. Time to eradicate Vicious from Naval Action....good news for the game finally!
  13. Don't like the idea of Total Loss/Victory...no good for smaller nations.
  14. Exactly the same thing happened to my officer after today hotfix. Max level reached with 5 points spent (Press Gang, Double Shot, Double Charge, Determined Defender) and only 3 left.
  15. Absolutely +1. All those battle results exploits are a top priority issue to be addressed in my opinion.
  16. Crew is going to become a key-factor in instances and hope to see implemented a new mechanic capable to restore some crew members during a battle (a sort of "crew repair), just to properly simulate the possibility for some light injured or routed sailors to join the fight again. However I'm really happy with the new changes and eager to test them .
