Realism is a bollocks excuse. Most of the game is unrealistic and its fine the way it is. Minor tweaks are necessary to the combat model or a major overhaul. Not random rash changes like this. Concentrate on the important shit and get it done then come back and look at the combat model in the future. Take war thunders development as a example. They've gone back to the combat model time and time again but in big patches.

I haven't seen this suggested and it seems like a ill thought out change. Sail reps are already to stronk and limiting chain is just going to bring all the power to the fast ships. again. Speed meta relies on books that most players dont have therefore the meta yet again will favour the experienced player leading to new players demise.

Just please to god make DLC like that include some real content for the buck. Like if were spending £20 for a DLC to get 3 more outposts chuck in something like a universal skin for ships that we can apply that kind of thing. Don't just sell off everything as individual items at a expensive costs. IE don't Paradox interactive us with DLC make the DLC have some real worth. (cosmetics, titles that kind of bullshit people like)

Keep the dlc on the downlow please. More outposts would be good. More buildings = meh. For real economic power houses of production you need more than yourself period. (or a shit load of alts) Think of it like this one man in real life wouldn't own all the resource production required for building a ship, so why should you? That man would draw from lots of other businesses (local economy) to draw in resources to produce the ships.

Im happy with the current RNG. Could be more accessible but If you earn the money finding the trim you want isn't to hard if you play the markets. For example im sat on 3 Very cramped shallow ships. How ? Because I search the freetowns and my capital and buy them when I find em. PS Just needs abit of a tweak to change how often you get trims. 4/5's should always be basically rare as possible. -

I'm abit confused why were changing the reinforcements? and not changing the mechanics behind the zone ? I haven't seen any evidence to suggest overall support of this idea. -

Just make it so trims are guaranteed if crafted outside of a safe zone and keep the low chance for 4/5, 5/5 would be my thought. That will move production around nicely. -
Hey you guys are funny. By the time you got pulled the koto fleet had fought the Spanish main fleet and multiple skirmishes and still had enough reps to finish you off. Maybe bring some more reps next time guys

Just organise your comms properly. Everyone should know the people to listen to in a room for orders. Everyone else is just passing out information to avoid collisions etc. Simples Also helps to have one person on map duty keeping overall situational awareness, we typically just revolve damaged officers out of the fight and do this job.

So just wanna confirm the ROE really. We joined a patrol area battle today and split our fleet in two. One group joined the Spanish one group joined the British and we had a epic battle of much enjoyment. Is the ROE meant to be like this ? Either way was really fun and better than us just rolling into one side and ganking some poor sods. See screenshot
