  3. Hello! One of our players were attacked so we went to help, and this is the chat log from it. As you can see, we weren't mean at all, yet were insulted constantly. Main person in this was PelusaNinja. I would like to stress that we are not of the mind of being mean to others, even if we are being ill-treated. It was a bit disappointing to receive such abuse. I didn't know there was a report function otherwise I would have done it, my apologies. Many thanks.
  4. It is good to see we have an attendance that is comparable to the good old days. May many more be welcomed back with open arms, old and new! God save the King! & God bless The Sea Lords Royal Navy!
  5. SLRN are recruiting. Great Britain, RvR, PvP, We seek the balance of all nations, and a fun time. We do so with the utmost respect for fellow captains. As most older members will remember, we were a force to be reckoned with. We are now steadily growing with a lot of older members - such as myself - coming back to the game. "We are a rapidly growing band of like minded individuals of varying experience and expertise, who like to indulge in a little light role playing in a friendly, disciplined and co-operative environment and blowing the enemy to to hell and back! A lack of experience is no barrier to joining as we are happy to assist you to become one of the finest Captains on the Great and Narrow seas." God Save the King!

  7. I said this about a month and a bit ago in a little dig/rant about officers; still applies unfortunately. http://forum.game-labs.net/index.php?/topic/15541-officer-suggestion-for-multiple-officers/&page=2#comment-331114 "I think having a officer with one perk, one speciality. It stops people from stacking perks, thus making things worth less, as is what is happening with most 'perks currently. I think Officers should have an upkeep or cut of your prize money from battles, too. I know this sounds harsh, but I'd hate the game to become all about stacking perks. I'd rather concentrate levelling one officers skills and feeling achievement." More emphasis on the last point but Officers do have an impact on such things also! I remember when the game was about "Skill" now its about stacking, and I've stopped playing for that reason, which is a shame as I do love the concept of the game, and have been here since before OW. So to see it go from a high learning curve to now a stacking fest, has become tiring and belittling to those that learnt to play without need for mods/perks//magic/thingsthatshootspeedfromyourpoopdeck. I know, I know.. There's plenty of people raging about it, I just haven't bothered to actively test the game anymore, or give feedback. And to which I felt I used to do with rather positive intention and positive outcome/intention. Time to go back into my dank and dreary cave once again!
  8. Brilliant! Not laughed at this game & forums for a long time, thank you.

  10. That'd be unfair, restricting those that want to PvP or do not want pvp to two different maps. Would make sense to have, as another member stated different servers for different maps. Do not split PvE to a map that might be more benificial to PvP or vise versa.. Better to test all options than to cut them off in my opinion. Will still play the game regardless, but I'd love to be in Europe moreso than Carribean. To see more nations of more historical value, and with equally as excluded navies as of current. (Port, Venice, Ottoman Empire, etc..) Americans are the only addition to Carribean that is not in Europe, so I expect there'd have to be a compramise there.. :/
  11. "Being told that I should join a clan, level up as quick as possible in order to play the game, is not how it is sold on Steam." The game is advertised as a MMO. Clans and groups are expected, at least to most with common sense. Granted this game has such a lack of diversity when it comes to missions and leveling up.. I remember when we didn't even have missions.. or outposts... I am sure they are conjuring up some cool ideas currently, and the community are rather good on voicing opinions and having a realistic dicussion.. maybe just wait it out if you do not like what you are seeing so far, worse that happens is you miss some new updates and have to learn what you've missed, but besides that I am certain the Devs will update on time with substantial knowledge of future content..
  12. You mean the initial firing shots to be fired from bottom deck first, essentially..?
